"Fantastic art deco building with Beatles history!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 26, 2012
Great location for visiting the numerous sites and attractions of Liverpool / Merseyside whilst being on the outskirts of the city itself. Fabulous building which is immaculately maintained being the old LiverpoolAirport. Staff very pleasant. Only complaint is that you have to pay for Internet service so we found ourselves walking over to Macdonalds on the retail park opposite where it is FREE! If you plan to spend most of your trip in Livedpool City Centre be aware that you would need some transport. Luckily taxis and public transport are readily available.
"best hotel in liverpool"Reviewed by vanessa as of "uk" on Apr 14, 2012

"1st time @ a B & B"Reviewed by Craig Me of "Chicago, IL" on Apr 8, 2012
We really enjoyed our stay at the Stone Villa in Chester The manager made us feel very welcome and gave us the information we needed to get around Chester. The breakfast provided was a Great way to start the day. It was our first B&B and my wife and I and our teenage girls enjoyed it there.
"Best Western Westminster Hotel- Chester, UK"Reviewed by John S of "Wayne, PA USA" on Feb 16, 2012
The room was small but OK. Floorboards squeaked, which was rather annoying. Great location- near station and an easy walk to center of town. Good value.

The night desk person smoked outside the hotel with the door open. The smoke would come into our first floor room all night. The hotel is not in the best part of town. But, most of the city looks like that so I guess it is average. Our room was big and clean, so that was nice.
"Chic hotel with a super friendly staff!"
This unique little spot was quite a delightful experience. Nestled in a quieter part of town, we felt transported into the UK experience without the abundance of tourists and loud traffic. The neighborhood is very chic and houses the best restaurants and theaters in town. Situated on Rodney Street, complete with lamp posts and various colored front […] doors, we felt as if we were in the "back lot" at Universal. The service provided by the staff was unforgettable, very friendly, and so welcoming we are sad to say goodbye. Roscoe House is a short walk to anywhere, yet very private and unobtrusive. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone who likes quality, privacy, and immersion into the community while traveling. Read more
"Nice Room"
Enjoyed my stay its the second time I have stayed, its great value nice big room and everything was as it should be. Location is great and staff friendly free Wifi fantastic.
"Avg I guess"
Room was very clean and functional but some small things let the stay down, no soap, the shower wasn't hot and was quirky, the tv was like a 12" and old, doors bang shut etc. I stayed at the back rooms so no road noise. However its not bad value and the location is good and central. No Breakfast but you know that, finding a cafe close was not easy.
my room was in the basement, it no longer felt apart of the main hotel. the pillows are rock solid combine that with outside noise and you dont get a good nights sleep. The plug in fire had a really weird smell coming from it but to be fair the staff were friendly. all in all i wouldnt stay here again or recommend it
"Roscoe House, 27 Rodney street, L1"
This is not a 4star hotel, let me make that quite clear! If you check in late, ( as I did, roughly 6:30pm) you will be given a basement room, which is totally unacceptable. The windows are not double glazed, (and because the hotel is on a main road) this is a serious problem. The heating dosen't work, the en suite dosen't even have a radiator and there […] is only an electric shower over the bath. Even after I was moved to a better room inside the hotel the en suite still wasn't heated and the noisy road was still a problem. I found the staff as helpful as they could be but the manager myseriously didn't turn up to answer my questions on the second day. DO NOT STAY HERE, there are better hotels for a similar price all around the area. Read more
"caution présumé coupable"
La responsable a apparement conservé la caution de x£ pour l'état de la chambre .Je suppose que la vue de mon paquet de cigarettes a fait de moi une suspecte bien que je sois sortie dans la rue pour fumer.Amis fumeurs vous n'êtes pas les bienvenus!
"Lækkert hotel centralt i Liverpool"
Vi havde et super godt ophold på hotellet. Personalet var venligt, og værelset var rent og pænt. Det kan helt klart anbefales
"Roscoe collection / rough comments"
Bra rom, men lite tilfredstillende bad
"Roscoe house - not what we expected"
We were put in the basement, so we had to go out of the house down steps and in again. It felt like walking down to a dungeon. Very old and shabby down there. Apparently they only have one key for each room because when we came to collect our key one day it was missing and it took the receptionist about 10 minutes to find it. Totally not wort the money […] we payed for this room, I would rather add 1/4 to the amount and stay at a 4 star hotel. We will never stay there again and I do not recommend it sorry. Read more
