On the north bank of the Thames, residential Hammersmith retains a bustling, city-centre feel with high-street shops and offices. The area around the magnificent 19th-century suspension bridge is often busy with those visiting Hammersmith's riverside pubs, especially in April when the annual Oxford-Cambridge boat race passes by. Fulham’s main thoroughfare, the Fulham Road, is filled with smart bars, chic restaurants, and fashionable boutiques. The area is best known for Stamford Bridge, the home stadium of football team Chelsea FC.

Went down to see a legend of a band called Mott the Hoople, for me and my mate's needs the room was fine, t.v. fridge, decent beds, clean tidy shower room. only drawback, can't fry an egg, next time I'm down I'll give the cook a lesson . Very good value and very friendly.

Hotel staff were veray helpful and willing to help. The double room we stayed is basically a signgle room - very small in size. Fridge did not cooling though the pump was making noise. TV channel and picture was not good and no remote control.

We had beatiful weather on our weekend away, so we didn't have to spend too much time in our room. If we would have, I'd not be comfortable with the size of the room, as it was tiny! BUT: Brekky was way over expectations - it kept you full and tasted good. Heating in rooms worked well and TV too. The basics covered!
