For the price of the hotel, I was very satisfied. The room was comfortable and clean. The best part of the hotel is its staff. Extremely helpful and friendly. Made my one week there a little bit more enjoyable.

The Park Lane aparthotel is supposed to be a 4-star hotel, but our room certainly did not have the feel of a 4 star hotel. This place seems to be part way through a refurbishment, and although the reception area looks great, the room we had still looked very dated. The bedroom and bathroom were a very good size, with plenty of room for a cot too. The […] living/kitchen area was a little too small for a couple with a child. The location is excellent. Just a few minutes from the Burgibba beachfront. Opposite the main bus terminal, from where you can get anywhere very cheaply. There is a pharmacy and Doctors clinic opposite the hotel too. Several supermarkets in the immedate area; Trolleys in particular is the largest, and stocks almost anything you could need. There are some nice quiet areas around here for walks, and equally busy ones depending on what you wish to do. Not as built up or crowded as St Julians, but closer to the nicer beaches on the island. The best thing about this hotel are the staff. They were all so friendly and approachable. Brendan and Lisa in particular were very helpful during our stay. They were always more than willing to get extra items for the room, get information about travelling around the island and just making us feel welcome. Should you need a taxi transfer, then speak to Park Lane staff, and they can book you in with Michael and his wife, who are equally friendly and also very reasonably priced compared to other Taxi firms on the island. Excellent, quiet, very clean hotel with with very pleasant and helpful staff. Room was fine with spacoius bedroom and bathroom - and air conditioning in the living room. (The a/c exhaust exits on the balcony meaning that you have to choose between having the a/c on or sitting on the balcony.) Roof top pool (pool is small) area, with views across St […] Paul's bay, is excellent for sunbathing and mid June was very quiet with plenty of room - often we had the place to ourselves. Location is quiet, no noise problems at night, pleny of shops and restaurants about, only a short walk to the sea-front and only 70 metres from the Bigibba bus terminus - handy for trips to all parts of the island and being at the terminus means you should get a seat whereas half a mile down the road you could find yourself without a seat and standing for over an hour all way to Valletta. We were in a self catering apartment at Park Lane for a few nights getaway. The apartment room was spacious, clean and attractively decorated. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. There is someone at Reception 24 hours a day. There are a couple of bars on the opposite side of the street, but for the duration of our stay (April) there were no major […] noise issues at night. The buses are cheap in Malta and taxis not too bad either, so travel was not a problem. The people on the islands speak very good English and are very friendly. I was told by a local that in the summer it gets extremely hot there. Apparently there is a swimming pool on the roof and a cafe (breakfasts also available) but we did not explore these. Very good value for money we thought - a comparable stay in the UK would be considerably more expensive. For those who are interested there is also a ferry company called Virtu Ferries who do excursions to Sicily from Malta. We took one and very much enjoyed it. Read more

The staff were very obliging and friendly - especially Danielle who advised on trips & tours etc. Location is beside the bus terminus and provides access to the entire island of Malta. Thanks very much to Andrea and Daniella for a fantastic stay at Park Lane Apartments. We recently stayed for 10 days with our 4 month old daughter. The apartment was very well equiped and it was very handy to have a separate bedroom to put the little one to sleep in the evening and then we could cook dinner and watch TV in the lounge. The kitchen was […] well equiped and the lounge very comfortable, so it was nice to be able to stay in rather than have to go our in the evenings which is not always convenient with the baby. We rented a car so it was easy to get around to see all the attractions on the island. Qawra does not have much to offer in my opinion, it is very touristy with bland architecture and average food, however the apartment was very nice and it was easy enough to get around to the other parts of the island. This hotel is very good value for money. Our room was spacious and included a kitchenette which allowed us to cater for our breakfast (the breakfast selection offered in the restaurant affiliated with the hotel was not the greatest for a non english clientele). The location is great for going around the island because the main bus terminal of the area […] is on the other side of the street. Despite this and the fact that the building is on a quite busy street, the room was very quiet. On our arrival, we found a noisy air conditioning box outside our window which belonged to the restaurant below but we mentioned it to the night porter and it was sorted out in a few minutes with no fuss. This is just one example of how great the hotel's staff was. They were always very helpful and made us feel welcome, especially Daniela, who gave us great tips and suggestions to get around the island. The staff is not gentle and their service is not so good far away from the level of the four star hotel. It should be non star class. There is bathtub, however thier electic heated water tank is too small. So, actually we could not use bathtub. They dindn't change sheets of the bed. Når det gjelder plasseringen, ligger det rett med bussterminalen, så det er lett å komme seg inn til Valletta og Sliema, der det meste av butikker er. Flere små supermarked i gaten ved siden av. La primera ventaja es la proximidad a la "estación de autobuses" de Bugiba, de la que salen muchas líneas tanto a Valetta, como al aeropuerto, como a los ferrys a Gozo. Eso sí, armaros de paciencia, porque dan mil vueltas. Por ejemplo, del aeropuerto al hotel, línea X3 puede tardar 1 hora o más para hacer unos 25 km. Detta är ett mindre hotell med mycket trevlig personlig service. Har man ett problem så får man hjälp direkt. Lägenheten med ett sovrum och kök med matplats och soffgrupp med TV är lagom stor. Balkongen med utsikt över havet (skymt till en del av ett storhotell) har nackdelen att grannbalkongen är belägen precis intill. Liten pool på takterass med fin […] utsikt finns. Läget mitt i "byn" är bra på så sätt att det ligger bara 50 m från busstation, som man kan utnyttja för alla resor både till Valletta och andra kulturella platser. Det är nära till en fin strandpromenad (300 m). Närmaste playa ligger någon km bort men man kan också bada på närmare håll. Området är lugnt och något discodunk hördes inte. Restauranger av många slag finns på gångavstånd. Mataffärer finns på nära håll. Båtutflykt till grottor och lagun är ett måste. Summa summarum, hotellet ger en fin avkoppling om man vill ha det lugnt och skönt med bra utgångsläge för att se annat än vidsträckta playor packade med folk. Read more
