Room was O.K. for the price Handy to downtown core and metro/bus Had our own bathroom and shower which is a plus! recommend the extra $$. NO PARKING!!! Hotel has only 2 spaces Hotel has an unloading zone with moveable signs - which some clown during the night thought it would be hilarious to move in front of my truck which was in the adjacent space […] and I rec'd a ticket from the city! (fifty-two dollar souvenir) And parking IS expensive and hard to find!! Lots and street-side are both expensive. Hairdryer did not work Bed mattress was at the end of its life-span and lumpy on a sloping angle and lumpy - not a great sleep Blinds did not close either so the room was relatively bright. Window air conditioner was removed after the first day in prep for winter; but week was warm and humid and we would have benefitted from having it!! Next point: only one window in the bay window opened - but then there was the addition of all the street noise!! Maid got side tracked one day - removed towels and cleaned bathroom and that's where it stopped. Bed was not remade and no fresh towels. Not that the bed is a serious issue but removing all the towels (which was not really necessary) was; as we only packed a couple of small pack towels and had to call down - and don't forget that you are paying for the service Note: do not stay on the the Saint Denis street side! There is a hospital across the street that is undergoing renovation expansion; so very loud 24/7! see above. Hotel itself is very quiet (except for a gang of partyers who were a bit noisy coming in on Fri night/Sat a.m. ) Did not partake of breakfast as there are so many other places to eat in the city. Overall it's liveable - place to rest and sort of affordable. Value for $ is NOT comparable to other cities - Montreal is overpriced in that aspect. Expect to pay more and get less. very nice hotel, regarding the price - one can not get anything better! breakfast is okay, if you only stay one night. other than that one can get great breakfast in the city. very friendly service, nice apartments, very clean and comfortable. situated almost in the city center - from the hotel you can walk to most sights highly recommended

My husband and I are from NY, and got a cheap rate to stay in Hotel Celebrities. The place has far exceeded our expectations. when you walk in the hotel, the decor is warm and inviting. There is no lift in the hotel - which wasnt told about - we were on the fourth floor. Staff not very helpful and room had a very damp smell. Would not recommed this place. I good thing the location was good.

The so called private bathroom was a toilet in the bedroom and was only concealed by strips of curtain. The room had an odor. The supposed view was of an alleyway and their were bars on the window. When we tried to leave the door handle fell off. We ended up leaving and never retutrning. The entire hotel was reminscent of a hostel.

We booked this hotel based on 1; the location and 2; the photos that were posted online. We were pretty disappointed, starting from when we checked in. The clerk at the front desk was rather rude and arrogant, which instantly starts things off on the wrong foot. I got the feeling he was the owner (because otherwise, who in their right mind would keep […] an employee who treats customers this way). Once we got into our room, we realized that the photos posted online were not an accurate portrayal of what the hotel really looks like. I guess run-down would be the best way to describe this place. The in-room bathroom was a toilet with a curtain, and the shower was right next to the bed (literally) with crystal clear shower doors, leaving little to the imagination of those on the bed next to you while you shower. All in all a great deal and super location.

This hotel was top notch in terms of service and location and I will definitely visit it again when I am need of a place to stay. The only negative thing was that it was slightly cold the first night as the heater was not working properly. I asked for a blanket for the second night and it was a much more comfortable night.

We asked for directions to a Jean Coutu and were told wrong directions. We walked for a good half hour looking for one and had to ask if we were close, which turned out that we weren't close at all.

The staff at the hotel was nice, this and location are the only good things about this hotel. This hotel was probably not renovated since a century, our room was not clean, we were afraid to catch bed bugs there. The room that we had got was not supposed to include a bathroom, but we dot one! it was a toilette next to the bed behind a curtain instead […] of the door and the shower near the bed looking so horrible that we were afraid to take shower so we had to skip one. I will never stay at this hotel again, it is the worst experience in my life, and I often stayed in not very expensive hotels like this one. Read more

The rooms are super original with really groovy decor. The staff are friendly. Location is perfect but can be a bit loud especially if your room does not have double glazing windows. Breakfast is not worth waking up for. A stale croissant and white bread for toast with a cup of coffee. Well upon reading some of the other reviews I was scared, but it wasn't bad. It had lots of character and was cute, even though it was hastily and unprofessionaly put together. The hospital parking was fair and it was in a monitored lot, which was nice. I can't stress the amazing location of this hotel enough. Nous avons eu par 2 fois les chambres de RDC soient sans lumière. Il y a peu ou pas de chauffage dans ces chambres. La qualité du ménage est limite. En ai-je eu pour mes X $ pour une nuit d'hôtel ? À vous de juger ! Mon avis sur la chambre... Les toilettes de la chambre ne fonctionnaient pas et la lumière brinquebalante, le ménage était très succinct (poussière, coton-tige par terre à l'entrée, tâches non identifiées sur le protège lit, restes de douche du client d'avant dans la douche...), les […] mûrs sont en papier... Hotel ayant beaucoup de charme, très bien situé à proximité de la station de metro berri uqam. Très tranquille. Personnel sympathique et à l'écoute des demandes des clients. A recommander!

Lieu idéal si on veut visiter la ville sans trop rester dans sa chambre. L'accueil de l'hôtel et le service sont délicieux, les trois personnes qui se relaient sont toutes charmantes et agréables. Tout de notre chambre d'hôtel était très satisfaisant. La connexion Wi-Fi était parfois interomput mais nous avons tout de même trouvé un autre site web qui vendait les services de l'hotel Celebrities moins chers que sur hotels.ca... Bye Bye Hotels.ca!

Hotellet er meget billigt (morgenmad er inklusiv i prisen) og derfor kan man ikke forvente højeste luksus. Dog var der en hyggelig atmosfære og fin indretning i en blanding af gammelt og moderne, hvilket også afspejler stilen for Montréal som by. Man kan reservere værelser med enten delt eller eget bad/toilet. På værelser med eget bad/toilet var der […] separat bruseniche og separat toilet, som var meget trange rum, hvilket var den eneste ulempe ved hotellet. Gratis WiFi. Hyggelige opholdsrum på hver etage. Personalet var venlige og hjælpsomme. Hotellet ligger 5 min. gang fra Rue Sainte-Catherine, som er hovedgaden i downtown Montréal, og dermed tæt på shopping-muligheder, restauranter og seværdigheder. Read more

Nous avons eu une chambre atypique avec un decor nature, on aurait dit un bateau de pirates avec des cordages. Une grande terrasse...un micro onde et frigo tres pratique. Petit bemol pour le ptit dej tjs la meme chose de servi mais ensemble vraiment correct!!!

Hotel bien situé : près de la gare routière (environ 5 min à pied). C'est pratique à l'arrivée de l'aéroport. L'hôtel est près des rues commerçantes et des différents centres d'intérêts. La chambre était bien et calme avec toilettes et salle de bain à l'intérieur. The pictures shown in the web site are quite different from the reality. I asked a wake-up call that never received. It's too much a price for a 1/2 star hotel.

Accueil sympathique, déco sympa, et hotel assez chaleureux dans une vieille maison montréalaise. Par contre, la propreté laisse un peu à désirer : la chambre "non fumeurs" empestait le tabac froid, et le sèche cheveux ne fonctionnait pas. Quand au petit déjeuner "buffet", attendez vous à recevoir une assiette avec 2 toasts et un croissant surgelé(bon […] courage pour le réchauffer au four, qui fait sauter les plombs de la salle de petit déjeuner), avec un pot de confiture/choco/beure d'arachide pour tous les occupants de l'hotel. Hôtel très bien situé, beaucoup de charme. Le cadre des chambres est original. L'accueil est agréable. La litérie est moyenne. Le seul point négatif réside dans les finitions des rénovations effectuées, elles laissent à désirer.
