Nora Buri is a very nice hotel--it was overall clean, had the amenities we needed, and we had a private ocean view from our room--but given the abundance of boutique as well as high-end options in Koh Samui, I would say it was not spectacular. Areas for improvement: more cleansiness (our sheets had visible stains on them), better service (staff was […] friendly but did not take initiative to be helpful), and most importantly, a more mature guest crowd. The hotel is really in a tip-top shape, overlooking a beatiful shore. The staff is really making the extra effort to ensure we have the best vacation. Great location, UNBELIVABLE service, best breakfast.. It was huge! The resort has two swim up bars, one up high on the hill over looking the ocean with beautiful views and the other right on the beach. We were offered a discount voucher for dinner at the barge restaurant opposite the resort. Barge food is above average but not as excellent as it was made out to be. But the beachside setting was very good. Resort arranged for a bike for rent of 300 baht. Staff was helpful in dropping us to our room in the buggy whenever we asked. Stayed at Nora buri recently and was extremely happy with the resort. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. The swimming pools are amazing very well maintained. One downside to the resort is that it's quite steep but the staff are more than happy to take you to your room in a golf buggy. The rooms are not up to resort style standard. No iPod/iPhone dock so we couldn't listen to our music. Tv had bad picture quality. Airconditioning would not change temperatures, and was so noisy you couldn't sleep. The hotel is built on the side of a hill and is very steep to walk around. Breakfast buffet was cold. Had to wait 20 minutes to get 1 egg. […] This is a very expensive resort to stay, and the quality did not match the high price. One other point that made me quite upset is that on checkout, I rang for a porter, but instead they sent a staff member to go right through our room in front of us to check we haven't stolen anything. Overall a very nice hotel, excellent pool areas, and certain that outside peak season pricing would reflect the standard to a higher degree. Did find the ticket a bit topsy relative to the room standard, but admitting we were traveling in the absolute peak season. location is great if you want to be away from the noise and crazyness of chaweng beach but you are still only a 5 minute (200 baht) taxi ride away from all the action. Or you can go in a song tail (kind of open backed pickup truck) for about 50 baht. The bed and linen were amazing, the most comortable bed we ever had in a hotel anywhere, and the linin […] was all high grade cotton. the rooms are large and we only had the most basic version. there are plenty of happy hours at the various bars around the hotel, but the best one is from 1 to 2 in the afternoon at the upper pool bar where the staff would make it a good time. the private beach is nice enough but not as powdery white as the main chaweng beach, but at the same time you do not have anyone else sharing the beach so it just depends what you like. also the water around the hotel beach is nice for snorkelling. The hotel is laid out on a very steep hill but dont let other reviews put you off because they have golf buggys that will take you everywhere so you actually dont even need to walk anywhere if you are feeling lazy. the staff are all really good and all spoke good english. As you would expect in thailand they are also really friendly. We would definately satay here again but just be aware that it really is set up as a top end hotel so the prices reflect this. And to be honest there are places of similar quality for less money but it is still defianetly a good hotel. Read more

优点：酒店规模大，景观设计很亲近自然，依山而建，曲径通幽，能看到大海，房屋很大，两个无边游泳池和远处的大海合而为一，早餐可观景，观景台很大，大堂气派，餐厅吃饭不是很贵。缺点：刚入住时卫生间有异味，位置有些偏，不好打车（可找酒店前台叫车）。 如果不出酒店，在酒店内消遣还是很惬意的。

Constructed on a hill with the main road separating the resort in 2. Same thing for a few hotels in the same area. The beach is not good. Hard sand and rocks, stones when at sea and murky water. You cannot see the bottom at 1m. Windy side of the island, so be prepared. 25 metres far from the hotel's part of the beach, expect to find trash. My room smelled […] mold. Nice bathroom, but outdated rest of the room. Noise from the air condition units outside the rooms. That is valid for around 50% of the hotel. Sea views are not so sea views, as the hotel itself and the trees, cut the view. Restaurant below 4*, as well as service at the a la carte restaurant Barge. Poor wine selection, bottles with cup, not with cork. Room service always on time. But, for breakfast I called 5 minutes after 10.30 and they charged me extra. If I had called till 10.30 it would have been included... In-room breakfast for 2, but the napkin and spoon for 1. That happened more than 3 times. One day the marmalade was forgotten. The groom left the tray on the balcony and we had to uncover around 7 items ourselves. No turn-down service as indicated. Read more

Vil du bo med direkte badning på Chaweng stranden er dette ikke stedet. Vil du bo med flot udsigt, med 2(3) pools lige ovenfor den varme strandbred og lidt i fred for det hektiske Chaweng by og strand er det perfekt. 20 min stille gang på stranden, og du er ved Chawengs strand restauranter. Der er shuttle-taxi service til Chaweng (2-3 gratis afgange […] per dag). Gratis wifi, Gratis Fitness af høj standard, og små golf-biler bringer dig hurtigt op og ned ad den stejle bjergside - rollator og kørestol anbefales ikke!!. Der er gjort meget ud af at skjule hotellets beton konstruktioner bag grønne planter, træ, fliser - alt i alt er hotellet meget flot med mange æstetiske design løsninger. Morgenmaden er rigelig, og meget alsidig. Efter 10 dage var vi endnu ikke kommet gennem alle retterne. Kaffen er helt perfekt - frisk kværnet og frisk lavet. Dejligt at være et sted, hvor man ikke hele tiden føler man skal give drikkepenge for lige at få den ekstra gode service. Read more
