"Not to be recommended"
I am told that all hotels in Hong Kong have small rooms - well this hotel must have the smallest. It was only just possible to get fit my case at the end of the bed and logistically impossible to work in the room at the desk provided. The breakfast was an unforgettable experience - large 2l tubs of margarine and instant coffee, white bread, and a mandatory […] banana with one 4 set meals. The one I tried was pretty bad so on days 2-5 I went elsewhere. The wifi was pretty poor. The staff were pleasant albeit perfunctory. My view is that whilst this is cheap it is worth paying more for more comfort. The location is interesting and lively, close to a lot of markets and nightlife. "Very close to Mongkok"
The staffs are very nice. The hotel is very near to Mongkok MTR and is a walking distance to many attractive places like, Ladies Street, Fa Yuen Street. It is also near a shopping mall with H&M in it! It is really not that bad after all!Genuine Expedia guest review
Location is good but the single room is so small.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent location, reasonably priced"
My second stay in this hotel, since I went alone (to visit hk friends), I preferred a place where it's easily accessible(mtr) and along streets that are always bustled with people so it's safer for me to return late at night.Genuine Expedia guest review
Most hotel receptionists are polite. Also, this hotel will usually grant customer 1 free continental breakfast on the next day and the chef is nice enough to give you more food without extra charge if you are not full enough after eating the regular breakfast amount.Genuine Expedia guest review
Harbour Hotel was a horrible experience for us. In fact, the hotel condition was so bad that we couldn't even stand staying in the hotel for 1 night. We ended up forgoing the money that we had already paid for and booked another hotel. First of all, the hotel locates in a very busy street. It was very difficult to find a car park nearby to unload our […] luggage. We had to walk and hand carry our luggage for a fair distance. We were told by the hotel staffs that taxi drivers don't normally come in to this street to pick up because of inconvenient location. Secondarily, the room was dirty. There was lots of hair on the bed and the deck. The carpet looked revoltingly disgusting. Thirdly, there was no service or assistance provided by the hotel staffs. They (3x) watched us struggle with our luggage the whole time and didn't offer any help. They refused to make a taxi booking for us because taxi wouldn't come. They told us to walk 3 blocks with the luggage to catch a taxi and ask the driver to drive to the hotel. They either offered help with any luggage or taxi booking. Finally, the room was tiny. I know space is limited in Hong Kong, but there was literature no room in the BR for any luggage. We were told to leave our luggage down in the main reception we we checked in because there is limited space in the BR. I was surprised to hear that. When I saw the actual room itself. There is just room for 1 double and nothing else. I will never ever return to this hotel!!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Decent & Reasonable"
When in HK do expect rooms to be small. With that in mind my review will not be about the size of the room. Overall the room was clean, and comfortable. The front desk staff spoke English and was very helpful in explaining any questions asked. Breakfast and wireless Internet is also included, but above all the most important factor for me is the location. […] The hotel is just less than 10 mins walk from Langham Place and MongKok MTR station. There are numerous shops nearby which includes a few grocery shops, 7 eleven and fast food joints. Hotel was a great place to stay if you were interested in the real hong kong. There was a amazing local Market in the same street. The staff were lovely friendly and very helpfulGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Basic but great location"
Basic hotel in a great location. The staff were helpful, the breakfast was rudimentary, the rooms are tiny (but as per the photos on the website, so no surprise), but overall it was as expected at this price point and location.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good Location - Tiny Rooms"
Hotel Central HK just off Nathan Rd, rooms very small, bed was blocking the door. Bathroom was small with a shower that soaked the sink and toilet, bit weird.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Cheap and clean"
A clean and tidy hotel in a handy location in HK. Very quiet. Room was smaller than we expected, with very limited storage space....probably our fault for expecting too much. Manager and staff were very friendly and helpful. Amenities very limited.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Only stay if there is no other choice."
This was a very subpar "guest house" and would not recommend staying here unless you could find nothing else. The rooms are tiny but expected for Hong Kong. The issue with the rooms is the general uncleanliness. The walls are dirty, paint is peeling off the walls and ceiling, and the door trim is being held on with tape. The air conditioner is adequate […] once it finally turns on but the wait in a hot room is not pleasant. To list off a number of other things: the deposit must be paid in cash, the door key was problematic, there was a total of 4 tv channels, and most importantly the shower could not be set at a moderate temperature. The temperature would only vary from scalding to freezing. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
ONLY GOOD FOR OVERNIGHT STOP MAX 2 DAYS. LOCATION GOOD. DO NOT EXPECT TOO MUCH FOR THE PRICE BUT IT IS CLEAN. IF YOU HAVE A LOT OF LUGGAGE IT IS NOT SUITABLE.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Room is too small"
The room for this hotel is very small and the rate is high and if possible the room rate should be lower.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Location of hotel is great with all the famous mongkok market places at a walking distance including fa yuen street, ladies market, temple market. The room is though small but overall hotel is nice with all standard facilities.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Basic crash pad when you need one"
Overall the experience was as expected at this price point. You get a clean place to sleep and that's all you should be expecting. The location is pretty good but rooms are tiny.Genuine Expedia guest review
"A good budget conscious hotel at a nice location"
The hotel itself isn't too costly and is situated in a really good position. Approximately 5 min walk to the shopping strip of Mongkok area. Breakfast is also included which is a nice touch considering its price. We got them to clean the room and on general they did a good job in replacing the necessity and keeping the room tidy beyond our personal […] items. The room size is ok but the toilet is really small. You can essentially just shower and rotate. However for the price and location, this is probably one of the better deals. The location was a bit like the ghetto but quite quaint at the same time! The room was tiny but that is not unusual for Hong Kong (and I expected it). But, there was minimal storage and the room smelled of smoke. The staff were friendly and provided advice where required. Overall, OK for a lone traveller on a budget but, in the future, I would stay […] elswhere. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Really small, but really convenient and clean"
Great staff and location. Room is very very tiny. Free wifi and clean.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Adequate hotel in dense area of Hong Kong."
Situated in Mongkok, one of the densest areas of Hong Kong. Room was tiny - just able to squeeze past the bed to get to the shower. No hot water in the shower. Breakfast was filling but not particularly appetising. Overall passable - you only get what you pay for in Hong Hong these days.Genuine Expedia guest review
"A good choice if you're limited on budget"
The room is very small but for a place just for sleep is okay. A good balance between price and what you get. Definitely worth the money if travelling by yourself and not looking for luxury and expensive hotels. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Location is excellent for shopping around and travelling elsewhere.Genuine Expedia guest review

very rigid in check-out time, refused to go grace period. reception called half an hour before 12 noon to remind that we are to checkout before 12 noon. toiletries not top up on 2nd day of stay?Genuine Expedia guest review

Great location. tiny room but clean. will stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The room is very small and the cabinet is small too, but there is some space above your head to put stuff in. There are also some hooks around the walls to hang stuff off. The breakfast was simple but fine, you get four options to choose from. The lady that serviced us was very friendly and cheerful. The staff in the reception was helpful. The location […] is good, it is close to the MTR and the bus stops. You can shop late at night and still can walk back to hotel. We were happy to stay there and would like to go back when we go to Hong Kong again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"walking distance to Nathan Road - main shopping."
Room 702 - no hot water and air-conditioner not working well. Room very small, very similar to Japanese Business Hotel. Next day, changed room, which is slightly larger and fortunately, hot water and air-con working well.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Recomended for budget travel - close to everything"
While the people on the front desk weren't super friendly or helpful, they were good, spoke english and were always there. "Convenient Mongkok Hotel"
Single room smaller than other HK value hotels I've stayed at. Good stay for one or two nights as the location. Close to shopping and restaurants near Nathan Road.Genuine Expedia guest review
Location is very easy to find, and very close to the metro. Also, Ladies market is also extremely convenient to go to . Rooms are exactly as picture (small), but expected. Breakfast is included, located on first floor. staff speak "some" english. I would stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Room was small but clean"
When I arrived at Harbour Hotel HK for a four night stay , the front desk staff was friendly ,courteous and spoke good english. Although the room was quite small it was however clean . Sort of what you pay for as I was travelling alone and only need a place to stay . Amenities were updated daily. Breakfast was pretty basic but again the cafe lady was […] very nice .The area was decent with a street market nearby. Nathan Street shopping was also quite close. MTR was within a 5 minute walk which would get you virtually anywhere in Kowloon - Jade Market or Temple St. Market plus easy to get to HK Island to visit the Peak of WanChai District . "a small room"
the hotel is clean and adequate, if you are a single person on a short stay. If you are a couple or of a large stature, you would find this hotel's rooms to smallGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"I would recommend this hotel"
Location is OK! about 5-10 mins walk to bus stops and tube station. The hotel and the room were in good conditions, but the room was small. overall its was value for money, which I booked 4months in advance.Genuine Expedia guest review
"A very convenient location"
The room is extremely extremely small. There's no place for luggage but the location is very convenient. The hotel is situated in the heart of Mongkok and it's very close to the MTR station. If you don't mind the size of the room then it is worthwhile to stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A decent hotel in a busy shopping area"

"Compact room but perfect for solo traveller"
The staff of Harbour Hotel were friendly & accommodating. The breakfast left much to be desired & should be reviewed. Some of the 'plus' features included 24-hour front desk (I didn't check-in until midnight due to a late flight from London), ability to leave luggage securely on day of check-out, free wi-fi in room & proximity to Mong Kok attractions […] & shopping. The area in which the hotel is located is like a street of hardware (nails, power tools, fabrication equipment) but it added to the feel of being amongst the real Hong Kong. Overall it was a good stay but I think the double room I occupied would be cramped for 2 people. It was fine for me travelling alone. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Room was far too small"
Hotel was clean and the staff were good. They spoke English. Room was 30 cm wider than the bed so too small for anything than sleeping. Breakfast was very basic and not suitable for Western tastes.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Clean, helpful staff, great location but tiny room"
The staff at the Harbour hotel was very helpful and informative when asked about what to do and where to go for shopping and landmarks. They have free wifi service (unlike more expensive hotels where they charge you for it) and also free universal adapters they lend out free of charge. Location wise it is only a 2 min walk from Mong Kok subway station […] that is very convenient. The free continental breakfast was nothing fancy. Just a choice of your usual Hong Kong fast breakfast meals but still enjoyable. Room and bathroom was very clean but extremely small. Had your usual hotel amenities like toothbrush, showercap, shampoo and body bath, etc ,etc. Good value for a 1 night stay. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"overnight stop in Hong Kong"
For a budget hotel it was more than you could ask for, friendly helpful staff and a claen quiet environment. Only suggestion would be that they keep the single bed to a standard single size so there is a little more space for your bags in the room.Genuine Expedia guest review
