"Wonderful experience all around"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
We enjoyed our stay at the W very much. The staff were friendly, the rooms were spacious and the food was excellent. We would highly recommend this hotel.
"Great hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 3, 2012
We stayed for 5 days and found the staff and accommodations were top notch. The breakfast was wonderful and the grounds and pool are fabulous. I misunderstood the original advertising thinking this hotel was "on the beach" which it is not... it's across the street from the beach. The good thing is that it is very quiet and there are very few rooms in the total hotel which meant that the poolside room we had was very private.
"Quiet and off the beaten path"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 27, 2012
Nice hotel friendly helpful staff but a bit off the beaten path which can be good if you are looking for a quiet place to stay. The road leading to the hotel is really rough. The wifi is not free as stated in the listing. Overall this is a great place for the value but the convenience to shops or restaurants is the one downfall for me.
"Perfect Retreat in Ubud"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 25, 2012
There is literally nothing bad I can say about this hotel. The staff is wonderful, the grounds are gorgeous, the rooms are comfortable, and the surrounding village is just breathtaking. I would recommend you take advantage of the daily complimentary yoga and tea service (with the most delicious sweets). The yoga instructor is just about the kindest, gentlest woman you'll meet, as well as the entire restaurant staff. The yoga instructor also leads walks into the village where you can explore the rice paddies and even a Balinese home. It was such a delight! I will note, in case this is important for your travel plans, that this hotel is located in a village and is a few miles from the tourist center of Ubud, but there are hourly shuttles from the hotel into town. I would recommend this place with the highest compliments and I would definitely return!
"Nice, small and quiet hotel.......poor beach!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 18, 2012
Overall, great stay. Free wifi in the rooms, nice clean pool (not huge, but it's fine for relaxing), very good service, free shuttles any time of day to beach or town. Location is OK, but 20-30 minute walk from town. 5-10 minute walk to beach - the hotel's 'private beach' is not nice....we went once (in 6 days) for a couple of hours, then left and went back to the hotel pool. Aircon and fan in room needed some maintenance, and water pressure in the showers wasn't good. Other than that the room was fine. Breakfast was OK - it's ordering from a menu, it's not buffet style. One day the small pool was used by 6 local women and kids that appeared to be friends of the staff - not so good for fee-paying guests if that happens a lot. Location isn't really a problem if you're OK with taking the free shuttle into town and a taxi (U$2) back again. Got upgraded for 1 night to a villa with private pool - that was very nice. Very efficient and friendly room service and front-desk staff. We would stay here again......

"Hai Tide Huts"
Wow, What a place. Everyone is nice and helpful. Food is really good too. Make sure you do not get a hut by the pool or ocean view because you would not have much privacy. In the back is the best.
"Hai Tide Huts - Bali Hai Cruises activities"
Nice Huts on the beach and lot of activities available from Bali Hai cruises: snorkeling, tours, canoes, bicycles etc. Bit crowded when cruise is at Lembongan (11-15), otherwise very peaceful beach. Good cafe next to Huts, recommend to dine there instead of at hotel.

"Super mooi hotel"
