We were in room 2004 the walls could use a fresh coat of paint. Over all it was a very nice place to stay. We will be back.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"A real Gem!"
We had a wonderful stay in this historic hotel. It is beautifully restored. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast included was excellent with courteous wait staff. The coffee never ran empty. We had dinner one night and it was also very good. The room was a little small but typical of the period of the hotel. The bed was very comfortable […] and the room had a nice big screen tv. Housekeeping didn't replace soap and shampoo every night but all we had to do was ask and received all we needed. Harrison is a small town and on Memorial Day, few restaurants were open but found a nice steak place. Branson is close enough to drive to and we enjoyed a nice seafood buffet there one night. We have relatives in the area and will plan to stay at the Seville again when visiting. It beats to cookie cutter chains hands down. No pool or hot tub but also no kids running up and down the halls! Try it, you'll like it. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I love this Hotel!! It's historic and well maintained.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Charming historic hotel"
The old hotel is beautiful and has been beautifully restored. The rooms have been updated and have most of the modern amenities added. The rooms and bath are small, but they are quite attractive and comfortable within those constraints. The basic rate is quite attractive and includes cooked breakfast to order, free wifi and free parking in covered garage. […] The new hotel chains may offer some of these things but don't compare with the charm of the old building. This hotel doesn't rely on just the antique charm, but the personnel offer real warmth and personal attention. I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else when in Harrison. "great character, terrible service"
hotel is a wonderful destination in it's own right. Check-in staff was very nice. However the "free" breakfast" was only a partial credit on our bill and we received horrible and down right hostile service from the waiter. The air conditioner in the room didn't work and when I informed the desk personnel about the issue I received a confrontational […] attitude instead of an apology and assurances they would look into it. "comfortable, efficient, with character"
We originally booked two nights but extended our stay for another three. The historic hotel was older but in good condition; well kept, clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast made to order was among the best we have had. The staff could not have been more polite and pleasant. Definitely recommend.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Grand and comfortable, historic, hotel"
Hotel is quaint and elegant. It was clean and in good repair. The staff was great. I met many of the staff including front desk staff, manager, waitresses AM and PM and the evening chef. Food in restaurant was very, good and reasonably priced. My hat is off to young, evening waitress who dealt with obnoxious family that was dining with unsupervised […] and uncivilized children. "Pretty, historic hotel in Harrison."
We loved the Seville hotel. The clerk was super helpful and friendly when we arrived. Gave us perfect instructions to find our room. The lobby is so pretty with tile work, and iron, and a lovely chandelier. The 2nd floor landing is also gorgeous. Our room was very nice, updated, w/ a big flat screen television on the wall, and the heat/ac is operated […] by remote. The bathroom was VERY clean, and modernized, with touches of history. Had a great stay, and we received a voucher for breakfast at the onsite Cafe. And it was very good too. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"PROBABLY THE BEST PROPERTY IN TOWN"
This hotel is housed in a really interesting old building - probably the best building in the town. As the building is old, don't expect to have all the facilities of a new hotel. The room and bathroom were both small but this was more than compensated for by the lovely building. The service in the hotel restaurant was slow but the food was OK.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Harrison, AR - Seville"
We loved the hotel. The location was easy to find. Quiet night on the 2nd floor. Michelle at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean. Bed & Bath in order. The food served at the restaurant was very well prepared. Servers very friendly and efficient. Very nice to stay at a historic hotel for the same price as a hwy […] motel. Excellent built in 1929 upgraded in 2008. Enjoyed the stay very muchGenuine Expedia guest review
It is a refreshing change from the run of the mill chain hotels of the same price range. The staff is very competent. The dining services had changed since I last stayed there. I liked the feel of the new dining area and I had a lovely breakfast that was included.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"not green enough for me"
The water was scaldingly hot, the unoccupied room was set on 70--way too cold and energy wasting, and the breakfast and coffee were all served entirely on styrofoam. EWW Otherwise a charming, rescued, architecturally interesting hotel that I enjoyed very much!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"A Boutique Hotel in Harrison"
I always enjoy staying at small locally owned, historic hotels and The Seville was exactly what I hoped for. The lobby is beautiful and ornate and loaded with history. The room was immaculate and well maintained. I loved this place and if I ever find myself in Harrison AR again, I will definitely will stay at The Seville!!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
There's nothing actually wrong with the Seville, but it is in a beautiful, Old Spanish-type building, and the interior does not follow through on that theme, at all. The lobby has interesting frescoes, but, aside from a few chairs and tables, there is no decoration. I think I counted a total of one (1) plant in the whole building. Practically nothing […] on the walls. The room was clean, if small (which is to be expected in an older hotel), but it was very plain. The toilet appeared to be original (partially), but the sink was very modern-looking, as were the shower fixtures. A good enough stay, but the decor is extremely disappointing in a building which is very impressive. There's potential, but unrealized. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Multiple stays at this fine hotel in Harrison."
Stayed here after bringing my niece back to Harrison from Tulsa. I have stayed here 3 times before, and had a great stay this time as well. The hotel is situated in a stone building built in the 20's. The accommodations are all modern and comfortable. The suite I had, had a 2 large screen televisions. One in the bedroom, and one in the den/living area. […] The beds are plush and quite comfortable. The bathroom was large, spacious and accommodating. The staff, as usual, were friendly and helpful. The only complaint I had on any of my stays, happened on this one. Housekeeping, knocked on my door and came in to the living area on two occasions to where I woke up and told them I was sleeping. I let the front desk clerk know about this on checking out. I was slightly annoyed as I was in town the night before with my daughters, niece and sister-in-law, and I got in late and needed to sleep. I did get the managers name and email, and I intend to let her know that I was not impressed with her housekeeping staff's bountiful energy. I did have a nice talk with the clerk. I honestly don't think this will be an issue at this hotel in the future. It was my fourth stay at the Seville, and this was the only glitch experienced in those stays. Great Hotel that I will absolutely stay at again should the need arise. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"quaint and nice hotel"
The hotel was quant in its decor. It has been newly renovated but it maintains its historic charm. The rooms were simple but nice. The bed was a little firm for my taste but it was comfortable. The restaurant attached to the hotel appears to be the happening place in town. They had live music on Friday and Saturday that was really quite good and the […] food was good. I recommend the Sunday brunch. Great biscuits and gravy and blackberry cobbler. The staff in the hotel and the restaurant was very friendly and helpful. If I found it necessary to be in Harrison, AR again I would stay at this hotel again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"We will stay again"
We will stay here again when we are in Harrison for the night. The comfort of the bed and bedding enabled a good night's sleep. Beautifully renovated property.Genuine Expedia guest review
There was a mistake with our booking- instead of giving us the double queen room we asked for, they wound up having to put my husband in one room and myself and our 2 yr old in another. The girl at the desk complained about Hotels.com for several minutes in regards to this, told us next time we should just book directly because they "always screw up […] the reservations." Front entrance and patio were very pretty, but unfortunately reeked of stale cigarettes. There were ashtrays on every table and many of them were full of butts. The rooms are small, which I expected. The wall unit air conditioner/heating combo is not sufficient to cool it off in there. We were glad we brought a fan along. The beds were very comfortable. My husband said they were hard, but my back didn't hurt like it usually does on waking. For a hotel that is historic, the builders didn't do such a great job with the remodel. The tile in the shower wasn't spaced- huge grout lines in some areas, no grout in others. The sink and fixtures were very nice. They've used a huge amount of texture on the walls to cover up flaws. The windows weren't scraped before new paint was added; there was a lichen growing out of one of the sills. Perhaps all of this adds to the character. They advertised that the same crew remodeled the Crescent in Eureka Springs- they did a better job there if this is the case. Rooms were clean for the most part, there was someone's hair hanging off the hair dryer. We didn't eat in the restaurant downstairs. The lobby and grand staircase are probably the grandest area of the hotel. Looks like the original marble on the floors. Some very cool columns and archways. There is a nice little parking garage just off the main lobby, but you have to walk through clouds of smoke to get through the door if people are outside, as this is one of the designated smoking areas. I find it odd they had so many places to smoke when there are signs posted in the rooms "There will be a $100 charge a day" for Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Remember, this is an old hotel. The rooms are small and there isn't much storage, but it is clean and well kept. The staff was excellent and the building is beautiful. It was like stepping back in time. I think it's great that this old hotel has been preserved and we will definitely stay there again the next time we find ourselves in Harrison, AR.

Small rooms? Yes. Slow elevator? Definitely. 1929 Charm? Oh yes. If you find yourself heading to Harrison AR stay here. Friendly staff, great price. Call early and reserve the Presidential Suite, Yes, they have one. Beautiful lobby. This is one of the few Excellent's I have given. Room 307 is a nice Queen, with 3 windows.

The Hotel has old charm and it was clean but...the rooms are very small. My Husband and I had the queen size room which was so small you couldn't sit at the desk and walk by. There was absolutely no place to put anything including nowhere in the bathroom for your toiletries. We kept them on the desk outside the bathroom. They have only 1 towel rack in the bathroom so forget about having more then 2 towels. The internet was very slow and would cut out at times. The front office staff were friendly and tried to meet our needs. The breakfast was good but the girl tending it was too busy using her cell phone then making sure things were stocked such as utensils and coffee. The price was definitely what you paid for.

We stayed at the this beautiful hotel for the weekend. All the reviews are 100% accurate. This gem of a hotel provides service by every employee like it was back in the 20's. We were upgrade to a king suite at the same cost of a double bed room. When requesting a extra pillow or comforter, it was brought up in less then 10 minutes. The free breakfast was outstanding. Please use this hotel if you ever stay in the Harrison, AR area. We will be back
"Elvis Was Here!"
06/16/14 MimiB96 Gladstone, Missouri
This historical and beautiful hotel was a joy to stay in. The Seville is 85 years old and does show its character and that is lovely! It has the amenities of a Choice Hotel brand room...very comfortable bed, large room, good bathroom linens and products and yummy breakfast. The buffet breakfast included items I have not seen in other hotels such as real scrambled eggs, fresh made banana bread and yummy hashbrown casserole. We ate off real plates, not Styrofoam, and with stainless steel utensils, not plasticware. Our room did have an older smell to it which is understandable considering the hotel's age so I gave it a very good rating instead of excellent. Over the years, several celebrities have stayed in this hotel including Elvis himself. If you stay here, you will have bragging rights too!
"Elegant Historical Hotel"
06/05/14 Linda G Middlebury, Connecticut
I recently stayed for 1 night at this hotel. It was a pleasant change from the typical chain hotels even though you can get Clarion rewards for staying here. My room was small and the bathroom teeny, but it had been updated. I felt that there is still some refurbishing to be done, such as painting of doors etc. which was much needed. The hotel ambiance was very pleasant. If the bathroom had been bigger and the chipped paint touched up it would have been a special hotel. I found the breakfast voucher ($6.95) to be adequate , but the breakfast they served for that seemed slim ( 1 toast, 1 bacon, 1 egg and lots of fried potatoes).
"A beautiful and restful place"
05/31/14 Stan R Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States
My wife and I stayed here for our "second honeymoon" 30th anniversary. It was our home base for hiking at Buffalo National River. We chose it because of the historical elegance in case we had to stay in the hotel during rain instead of hiking, and because the hotel is reasonably priced, especially considering the free full breakfasts. The old hotel restaurant, where we ate every meal, had interesting and delicious food. The hostess was very knowledgeable about all things local and historical. We are already planning to stay here again.

We had stayed at this hotel once before but this time our two grandchildren, ages 8 and 12, were with us.We didn't know how they would like but they were fascinated with the nostalgic atmosphere and the fact their grandfather was born and lived in the area.

Old remodeled piece of history. Very comfortable room. What makes this hotel great...very clean and free cooked to order breakfast. Don't find that at many of the hotel chains. Restaurant in the hotel great food and we didn't have to go hunt a restaurant
"Very nice boutique hotel!!!"
05/24/14 Robert H
We love visiting and staying in these type of hotels. This one was great!!! It has individual heat and air and our room 2003 was very large with 2 queen beds. More than enough room for my family of 4. The hotel sits in the middle of historical Harrison Arkansas. The 1928 bar was very nice and easy going. We sat in the patio with great service. We also had free made to order breakfast!!! That alone is worth $20-$30. Our price for the room was $109 per night. But beware that the buffalo wing is over the parking garage and is very noise in the mornings. There is lots to do here!!! Love the hotel!!! Will stay again!!!
