It was quite over priced for what we received. The service was friendly, however the room was very small, we booked because it had a balcony, something we enjoy using, we double checked that it had a balcony when checking in & they confirmed yes. We did not stay one night at this hotel, as the first 30 minutes was enough to put us off. We checked out and went to a far better hotel called the Red Coco nut. Main problems were, we had to carry our bags 300 metres through mud and slush to get to the hotel. "A disgrace to Boracay and the Philippines"

This hotel was disgraceful from start to finish. Never have I ever experienced such a terrible hotel stay in my extensive years of travel. There was NO HOT WATER during our entire stay (Is this even legal) To begin with we had issues with check-in when the front desk staff tried to charge us extra for the room for having an additional person when the booking allowed for 4ppl (We had emailed days prior to confirm another bed but no response was received). The manager had to get involved and told us that we would get the same presidential room with 2 queen beds. Because it was the Christmas period it meant that most places had zero vacancies or could only facilitate a portion of the dates for our booking which to be honest is the only reason why we endured this horrific stay. There were many instances that I found to be awful. One of the things that I found disrespectful was the staff. Hands down the most unprofessional group I have ever encountered. The staff did not realize that I could both speak and understand the local dialect, to which I overheard many awful conversations gossiping among themselves about both myself and other guests. On the fist night my husband was ill from food poising so I wanted to have a doctor come to our room. I went to reception as the music was blaring so loud a phone call would of been pointless. The girl at the desk told me they couldn't call a doctor and that the clinic was within walking distance. After telling her he was in no state to walk she finally and reluctantly made the call to the clinic. One night after the loud music had stopped playing and the bar was closed we were unable to sleep as some staff members with a group were drinking singing and laughing. It was 2 am I went to reception (the security guard was just sitting there doing nothing) and told her that we could hear everything from our rooms, to which she advised she would talk to them. 20 minutes later the singing and loud laughing began again, the reception said she had asked them to quieten down and their reply was "we will try" I asked her if the bar was open her reply was "no" and there was nothing she could do she already talked to them. She was passive aggressive and mostly laughed at me and allowed them to carry on, putting unprofessional staff members before customers. I'll bullet-point all the other issues below - There was NO HOT WATER during our entire stay (Is this even legal) - The room was just above the front desk and smelt disgusting and dusty - bathroom was mouldy - sound proofing needed as everything can be heard from our room - loud club music till late at night - Mini bar was never filled once during our stay - WiFi was non existent - towels were thin and ragged - sand always on the floor of room - location is terrible and far away from everything - breakfast was inedible - photos are outdated I'm a firm believer in never say never! But mark my words even if you paid me I would never go back to this hotel again nor would I ever recommend it to anyone else

"Worst hotel experience ever!"

I am a seasoned traveler and have stayed in everything from rural country motels to 5 star resorts and I have to say this is the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Don't be fooled by the website, majority of the facilities advertised are actually at the other Crown Regency at Station 2 and the rooms are straight out of some 70's horror show. There is no infinity pool - as infinity pools are understood to be - and the showers are the pits. The staff at the hotel are not useful at all. If they don't want to deal with your request they switch to local language and pretend not to speak English. We were not the only guests who had complaints during our stay, we watched several guests trying to get resolve while being ignored. Additionally, breakfast is disgusting - we had to eat out AND PAY to go somewhere else every morning, towels are paper thin and all need to be replaced and the location is about 20-30mins walk from the good restaurants/D-Mall. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy!!!!!

Hotel facilities: don't expect 5 star accommodation but good enough for what you pay for. Room size is decent. Clean rooms. Helpful staffs and security is okay. They have small infinity pool and kiddie pool at the 3rd floor. Location: I love to stay at station 3 if I'm with family coz it's more quiet and not that crowded. This is also near the old talipapa area wherein you can eat cheaper food and can buy stuff at the tiangge. There are also convenience stores very near the hotel. If you are into island hopping, boat rentals are just a few steps away the hotel. But you can't swim that much at the beach due to those boats. A little walk towards station 2 can be an option if you want to have a good swim at the beach. Restaurant: I don't like their food. They need to improve a lot on that. Food doesn't taste good. What is good... Is their happy hour (liquor drinks at buy one take one)... 12nn to 9pm. :)

Being on the prime location, near Boat Station 3, they are charging hefty price for just oridinary, smelly and poorly maintained rooms. Old towels, open switches, non-functional phone, loose and leaking taps and so forth...... Over and above, they took all the charges even before giving you key of the room. Be careful if you you have large luggage and kids, as you have to walk approx.,500 meters from mail road to hotel on peble road. Reception staff are not trained enough to do their jobs. Food is just ok. Location is good near white sand beach, that is only plus!

Hi everyone! I was able to visit one of the hotels of Crown Regency during my visit in Boracay, Malay, Aklan, Philippines last February 2014. I was ignited by one of their sales personnel to take advantage of their free lunch and in return they will discuss their hotel facilities and we will let them tour us to their hotel. They are promoting to us they vacation package, after 2 hour talk with their sales representative, we were indeed convince how good their hotel accommodation is and that they facilities are well maintained. We were able to also experience their one-of-a- kind Wave Pool. We were satisfied and perhaps will tell all our friends about a\our great experience with our stay. We even end up buying their Vacation Package since we find it useful for a couple like us who loves to travel.
