A typical "you get what you pay for" hotel. A fine location close to London Euston train station, regents park as well as the pubs of Camden Town.

In common with most small family hotels that are converted houses, the accommodations where somewhat compact, the shower cubicle in particular, but everything I needed was provded and worked well. The breakfast was fantastic and much better than I expected from this price range. However the most impressive aspect of my stay was the people who run the hotel. Steve, Karen and their family were absolute stars, who could not have made me more welcome. The next time I visit Blackpool the Marsden will be my top choice for friendly service and value for money.

Very nice hotel, excellent location, good for us businessmen, nice restaurants nearby, good staff, clean, free internet, etc... I'll stay there everytime I have business at Warton.

The stay at The Sandalwood was a pleasant surprise, and I am sure to visit again. It was close enough to the Blackpool town centre and a pleasant walk along the water. Margaret and Pete were very attentive to our few needs and the breakfast was cooked to order. No complaints at all.

"A great little B&B"
Although our room was small, it suited our needs for a one-night stay, with generous tea and coffee supplies, a nice shower, and a comfy bed. We needed to be away early in the morning, and our host changed the breakfast schedule to help us out. The breakfast was huge, and perfectly cooked. Parking in Blackpool is normally a problem but with this hotel being in the north end, the parking is normally not a problem. Welcome on arrival was good and very friendly so no issues there.
