"One of the better places to stay in Borocay"Reviewed by James of "US" on Feb 24, 2012
This hotel is one of the better places to stay in Borocay. Good in comfort, price and ammenities. The hot tub was broken only bubbles and no heat. But the breakfast, the room, price, and shuttle made it well worth it. Could improve on the shuttle as sometimes going back was crowded.

"Tropical paradise"Reviewed by John M of "Bonney Lake, WA" on Sep 21, 2011
I would recommend this hotel to some of my friends, but not some others. It was not geared up for many guests during this offseason. It's away from the main beach but readily accessible by a 5-minute walk around a point of rocks by a walkway. They serve a guest breakfast, but are not geared up for other meals at this time of year. We found a great place 40 meters up the beach at Microtel with good food and a great bar. The room has a kitchenette with a medium-sized refrigerator. i talked with the manager and he has plans to fix some of the shortcomings by November 2011.
"Great location - Friendly Staff"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Mar 16, 2011
This place was a great place to stay. The bamboo huts really add to the ambiance. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. There is a common area with secured wi-fi access, a pool table, a long picnic table, a bar (where you can charge drinks to your room) and food available 24/7. Frendz is in a good location - about a 5 minute walk to the beach. Staff is available 24/7, and after midnight they lock the gate. Just ring the bell and someone will let you in. The bamboo huts are a nice touch. They are difficult to maintain, but worth the "experience". Sound does travel, so if you are traveling with a girl/boy-friend, you may be able to hear your neighbors and they may be able to hear you.. Overall it's a great place to meet other travelers, a great place to stay, friendly staff and close to the beach. Side note - avoid the island hopping tours - Take the Ariel's Point cliff diving tour - It's 1200 pesos per person, and well worth it! The staff can set it up for you.

"Holiday in Boracay"
We found the staff very helpful, polite and friendly. The hotel had everything you needed, and when we asked to be moved room (because of a rooster outside), they moved us free of charge to an upgraded room on the other side of the hotel, without any trouble! Good location on the beach as you can easily walk down to station 1, and up to the livlier […] parts. Don't be put off by the couple of loud banging bars right next to the hotel (you cant hear them from your room)! Read more
"Escape to the Beach Club"
I was pleased that this lovely boutique hotel was situated just across the road from the beach, but with its own beachfront space for meals and relaxation. The beachfront is very noisy at night and I found my room very peaceful. I highly recommend this friendly establishment.
