Initially a little difficult to find the entrance, but once in, the hotel is actually very nice. The breakfast is satisfying, the location is very convenient to local eateries and freeway on ramps. Overall, an enjoyable stay.

This was a pretty typical holiday inn express; clean rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast wasn't that great, but again typical hotel breakfast. It is located in the middle of a pretty busy street in town which made turning left interesting. I could stay there again next time i am in the area.

I stay at this hotel all the time. It is a great deal for what you get. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean. Breakfast and free internet always included. You can't go wrong with this hotel! If you are visiting Malibu or Calabassas it is only a few exits away.

I have stayed at this hotel several times, and it's just wonderful. It is far from LA - but you'll find it hard to find anything close to the amenities you get with this hotel in LA proper. You're about 20-30 minutes from LA, but I don't mind driving, and you are close to one of the major highways. After having an extremely horrible sleepless night […] in LA, I booked this hotel. You get a free breakfast, free parking, free wireless - all things that will cost extra in most LA hotels. I actually love the underground parking - your vehicle is safe and you can get to your room from the 'basement' easily without having to go through the lobby. The only thing I could suggest is to put microwaves in all the rooms - that would make this hotel even better than it already is. Read more

Hotel is okay -- typical of Holiday Inn Express. Location is very poor; unpleasant neighborhood, on a main road, close to major junction. If you want somewhwre scenic in Woodland Hills, this is not it.

The hotel itself wasn't bad. The parking situation is not good, neither is the surrounding neighborhood. Once you walk inside, however, the feeling changes. The interior of the hotel is nice, the rooms look nice. The bed wasn't overly comfortable, but it wasn't terribly uncomfortable either.

I stay at these hotels regularly and this one is run down and aged. Breakfast was short on the regular selection of these hotels and what was there was not warmed correctly as the cheese in their make shift omelettes were hardened and uneatable. This hotel can only be rated 2.5 starts because it does not have facilities like restaurants on site. It just has the room where breakfast is served. However, it is much higher quality that 2.5 stars implies. It would be hard to tell the difference between the hotel rooms in this hotel and most four start hotel rooms. I had to stay here because of a long drive and a huge accident on the freeway so I decided to call it a night and stop and rent a hotel room through the hotels.com app on my iphone and I was able to get a room right away. The room was very nice with a lcd tv, a fridge with freezer, a very nice bathroom that didn't have any towel hooks or bars for some […] reason and nice carpeting throughout the halways and the room. The only thing that was ruined my experience was the broken elevator on my last day so I had to bring all my luggage down the stairs which was very inconvenient on a 90 degree day. The pool is small but there is a pool if you want to use it. There is also a breakfast every morning that features your typical eggs and sausage and cereal and drinks. I was pleasantly surprised with Holiday Inn Express hotels and now will add them to the list of hotels that I look for from now on. Read more

Room was listed as 2 queen beds, but those weren't queen beds! Doubles for sure. Free breakfast was pretty meager, weak coffee, sugary cereal, premade omeletes, no fruit. And room a/c was noisy. But, all in all, the room was clean, staff was pleasant, beds comfortable, parking and WiFi free. I'd stay there again.

This hotel seems to be used for large tour parties, at least it was during our stay and one of the staff told us they were expecting similar large groups in daily for some time. Even though our room was pre-selected for us, the AC was not turned on in the room on a VERY hot day. It took a LOONG time to cool down the room. We called the front desk […] on arrival and asked the clerk to bring us some extra blankets and a pillow and were told he would bring them right up. We were going out for the evening and they had not been delivered as requested. When we returned, we asked the front desk again for the bedding but were told they had a large group of kids staying in the hotel and they had taken all they had. We've stayed at another HI Express nearby recently and had a much better experience at breakfast. This one had broken appliances and less selection (no gravy), and we of course had to deal with the large number of kids. The breakfasts are the main reason we choose HI Express, but we were sorely dissapointed this time. The hotel is badly layed out. We had a long walk from the elevator to our room. The room had trash in the can and used soap in the shower when we arrived. Door stops on the floor are badly placed and a danger to toes. They should be taken off the floor. Remove the picture from the wall and put the door stops on the wall instead. I don't know if we'll ever stay in this area again but pretty sure we won't be staying at this hotel if we do. Read more

I guess Bellmen/women are now replaced with do it yourself luggage holders. It wasn't a problem...they had 2 available. Breakfast in the morning was fabulous!! I checked in and was given a printed copy of the user name and password for the internet. Tried it and it didn't work. 15 minutes on the phone did not resolve the problem. (poor English, I do not speak Eastern Indian) Went to the desk. Still had problems with them installing the password. Finally got it going. Recently renovated, lovely ambiance, upscale old west feeling - heavy doors block noise, beautiful carpets in the hallways also muffle noise. Very quiet room, comfy beds, granite counters in bathroom, new flat screen TV. Decent breakfast and parking was included. Staff were very nice. I would definitely stay here again.

Checked in late and was given a room next to another room, where the residents left their dogs in the room. The dogs barked for two hours straight. Was moved to the only available room with a single bed - a handicap room. Other than this, the stay and the breakfast were good.
