Stayed here for one night before taking a morning flight out. The hotel is modern and clean, the beds are comfy and the staff was super friendly and helpful. It is little hard to find if you are driving, but the free shuttle from and to the main terminals was super fast and convenient (only a couple minutes from the hotel). The hotel is conveniently located next to the airport. Free shuttle service is prompt. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The room is exceptionally quiet. The only negative us that breakfast is unreasonably costly. It is less expensive to eat at the airport where there is greater variety.

i had prepaid in July for my December 31st stay, and when i wen check in, they had no record my reservation, ended up taking 30 minutes to complete my check-in after I pulled up my reservation on hotels.com on my cell phone and showed them that I DID have a prepaid reservation.

Way to many people behind the check in counter, yet no help with the language from the car to the room on the way in and out. Backing out from the drive after a drop off is a nuisance. To get to the hotel, there are 3 metro stops that offer bus service. Hotel is very comfortable. The main problem was with our reservation. Checking in it took 20 minutes for the clerk to find our reservation. Then in the morning we were told our reservation did not include breakfast even though it clearly stated on our reservation that a full breakfast was included. The hotel is O.K. if you have an early flight. It is just 200 m from the terminals and the hotel provides a free shuttle. It could easily obtain excellent rating if it wasn't for the terrible mattress. It was so soft and uncomfortable that it was more of a torture than a good night sleep. The shuttle to and from the airport was always ready in 10-15 minutes, and as the ride itself is only 3-4 minutes, it was a great location to stay for an overnight connection. Clean, bright, spacious, complimentary tea/coffee.

The hotel offers a free shuttle service to and from the airport but when you go to use the phone in terminal 1 to call you'll find that the phone doesn't work. When you call the hotel directly you'll be told that the shuttle runs on an hourly basis 24 hours a day and they will send a driver out upon request but then you'll find out that you've waited […] 30 minutes over the 5 minutes you were given for the next shuttle. You will then be told that the shuttle will be there momentarily but you'll stand in the cold, it was December, for another 30 minutes without a shuttle showing up. You will call the desk again and be told that they are sorry and the shutle will be there very soon but after another 30 minutes you just get fed up and wish you booked a room across from where the Holiday Inn has you standing in the cold waiting for their shuttle because you keep staring at that hotel. Finally you call the hotel thinking that somebody will take care of the situation and they tell you to walk out of the airport parking and pick up area, walk following the highway, cross the main roads and keep walking until you get to the Holiday Inn. Mind you that you have to drag whatever bags you have with you and make this hike. If you were not packing hiking gear and prepared to drag your bags over cobblestone roads and walk ways then you could be in trouble but doesn't everyone pack for such a trip when they are told that they will have a shuttle ready for them at the other end. When I got to the Holiday in parking lot I could see three vans on one side and a shuttle van clearly labelled sitting right at the front door of the hotel. When I got inside and told them who I was they had no appology ready for not picking me up, even though I made sure that they knew my name every time I called and I was talking to the same individual in person now. I have stayed at this hotel about five times in the past six years, since before it became part of the Holiday Inn chain, and noted that it has been getting gradually worse. After my last stay, in late September 2011, I no longer recommend the hotel and will never stay there again. The main problem is that it is enormously overpriced for the services […] that are on offer. Examples? When I walked in, the receptionist was hanging out at the bar, and had to walk back to assist me. Later on, the night shift's receptionist made a snide, unprofessional, remark when I requested a couple of cosmetic necessities, which are no longer provided automatically but a sign in the room offers them "upon request" to any traveler in need. The most annoying, however, was being awakened at 6:45am by vacuum cleaning in surrounding rooms. The least I would expect from an airport hotel would be an effort to provide restful ambiance, but, alas, that too was unavailable. The overall impression is of a cheap, poorly run, motel. Read more

The staff is very helpful in informing where to go and use of the public transportation. The hotel has no currency exchange which is a inconvenience. So it is best to have credit card handy. Also when you current exchange at Prague have your passport on hand, bank I went to requires passport ID. Luckily I had a copy of my passport in my pocket. Excellent hotel. located within a few hundred yards of the airport, and provides a shuttle at little or no cost (can't remember, so it wasn't much if anything). Price was right too. use this airport hotel for early flights. Its a 40 minute taxi to the downtown area, so I recommend staying downtown. I needed a hotel at the airport and this one filled the bill perfectly. It was really an easy trip (and fun) by public transportation (bus and subway) from the hotel to downtown Prague. And early in the morning, there was a free shuttle to the terminal.

Very nice, accommodating hotel staff. Rooms were wonderful, large lobby area, nice outdoor patio. Rooms were air conditioned, which was hard to find in Europe. Free internet access using computers in lobby was great, and bus service both to the airport and to old town was extremely convenient. The facilities (as per earlier reviews) I confirm were well appointed. Checked out the food and prices - and concur with an earlier review that it is probably better to walk 10 minutes to the main terminal and eat at more reasonable cost. I cannot comment on the room service as I did not use it. My single detracting point was the Staff hospitality it […] was dismissive at best i.e.. polite in a 'regimented ' way whilst exhibiting disingenuous smiles. It was a tad condescending and there was no spontaneous offer of guidance of any kind. Very disappointing - if it were not for the location I would most likely in future find a more hospitable atmosphere somewhere else. I now know why Philippine staff are so popular in Hotels- because they are everything that these staff were not. If ur on a vacation, then this is not the hotel to stay. Very far from the city, if dependent on Public transport, leave at least 45 min. early to reach on time. Room was good but bath had just Shampoo n Soap n we had to ask for everything. Very well built, ideal for peole taking early flights.

Great location if you need to catch your plane early. Bar service is very poor - we were only three people in the bar and we waited 30 minutes at a table and the barman simply ignored us while doing different tasks - we left the bar. Shuttle service from the airport useful if you arrive late at the airport.

Located close to the Prague airport and with complimentary shuttle service from the hotel, this hotel is a good hotel to consider if you just need to stay overnight for your next flight out from the airport. If you want to go sight see Prague's old town square, it's about a 30-40 minute bus+subway ride to the main tourist areas.
