Very good hotel to stay in, but you need to know how to get there (if not on taxi - use it if you can, we could not since taxi were on strike). Make sure you know that hotel is located next to El Greco Park / Lion Squire and it's located on Theotokopoulou street (which is the actual last name of the artist El Creco). 200 m (yards) from the sea, 15 mins to the main street, 25 mins walk to the port/ferries. Knowing how to find it - very good hotel in Heraklion/Crete to stay in.

This place is awesome. we were worried because it was so inexpensive, but it was a lot nicer and more fun than the hotels we paid MUCH more for! A fabulous place to unwind. The owners are awesome and the manager is great. We totally enjoyed our stay and can't say enough about how great it was! Within 30 minutes, we felt like we were part of the "family".

Hotel Lena was wonderful. Tucked away a little off one of the more touristy roads of Heraklion, it was easy to find and extremely well kept. The room was spacious and comfortable. I have no complaints and would reccommend to others wanting to stay in town and extemely close to the port.
Location.
Sea Side Resort & Spa is in Gazi (Agia Pelagia) and regional attractions include Pankritiko Stadium, Heraklion Archaeological Museum, and Palace of Knossos. Additional regional attractions include Venetian Walls and Panayia Akrotiriani.
Hotel Features.
Sea Side Resort & Spa has an indoor pool, a steam room, and a sauna. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in public areas and an Internet point is located on site. This luxury hotel offers 3 coffee shops/cafés, 2 poolside bars, and a restaurant. Guests are served a complimentary breakfast. This Gazi hotel offers a bar/lounge and a snack bar/deli. Additional amenities include a seasonal outdoor pool, a children's pool, and spa services. Onsite parking is complimentary.

Tucked away off the main road 20 kilometres west of Heraklion, low-key Agia Pelagia is built into a hillside above a sheltered bay. It offers a decent choice of mid-range hotels and apartments, most of which have sea views. The sandy main beach curves around the bay and is overlooked by tavernas and cafes. It offers sunloungers and good water sports facilities. Nearby, several more bays have smaller, less equipped beaches.

Velmi spokojen i s vynikající kuchyní, přívětivý personál. Pláž u moře není součástí hotelu, ale je v dosahu - 3 minuty chůze z kopce. Mohu vřele doporučit.
"ΔΕΝ ΜΑΣ ΑΡΕΣΕ"
Ενώ χρησιμοποιούσαμε το spa του ξενοδοχείου και το ραντεβού μας θα τελείωνε 15:00 μας ζητήθηκαν επιπλέον 30€ αν θέλαμε να αφήσουμε τις αποσκευές μας στο δωμάτιο γιατί το check out ήταν στις 12:00.
