Nice hotel, room was ok'ish (shame upstairs the noisy floorboards upstairs above our room!). Food was generally ok (shame about the cold mussels they tried to serve us - they went straight back!). Overall was generally fine, good location too (just off main roundabout).

Loved this B&B! Great location on the coast, it's by a power plant but that didn't bother me. The proprietor and his family were very accommodating and sweet! Thank you for a lovely breakfast!

The Appledore House was simply amazing. They did a great job making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone staying in the area. Hopefully we can make the trip back to Appledore and stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were wonderful. The village is lovely, though the streets are narrow and parking is limited. We are glad we stayed in quiet Porlock rather than busier Minehead. Our room gave us plenty of space for our family of four, including a separate sitting room. Would definitely consider staying here again.

As B+Bs go this one is excellent and great value for money! Very helpful host and a nice feel about the place. Just returned from a lovely one night stay. We were given a room upgrade when we arrived, room was wonderful. Denise and Geof were so welcoming and I can recommend Hillside without reservation.

If you are looking for accommodation in Lynmouth, this is a great little B&B. Good value for money, great breakfast, spot on location, (5min at most stroll from centre) v.friendly / relaxed hosts, nice clean room with lovely view. Also lots of local information in the room. Points to note: Our room had a separate, private bathroom but my girlfriend […] actually said she welcomed that! And it did free up space. Free parking is available nearby or down the the road from either 4 or 6pm until 10am, depending where you park. Read more

The B&B owners were very friendly. We were greeted with a pot of tea! The room was clean and comfortable. The english breakfast was great. For dinner I recommend the Rising Sun. Only downside (which would be the same for many B&B's in lynmouth due to the village layout) is the lack of free parking. There is free parking on watersmeet road you can […] only park for 2hrs during 10-6pm. There is a car park on the same road which is maximum £5 to 6 a day. We were out most of the time anyway so this wasn't a great problem plus the B&B is good value even if you did pay parking. Read more
