A typical "you get what you pay for" hotel. A fine location close to London Euston train station, regents park as well as the pubs of Camden Town.

In common with most small family hotels that are converted houses, the accommodations where somewhat compact, the shower cubicle in particular, but everything I needed was provded and worked well. The breakfast was fantastic and much better than I expected from this price range. However the most impressive aspect of my stay was the people who run the hotel. Steve, Karen and their family were absolute stars, who could not have made me more welcome. The next time I visit Blackpool the Marsden will be my top choice for friendly service and value for money.

Very nice hotel, excellent location, good for us businessmen, nice restaurants nearby, good staff, clean, free internet, etc... I'll stay there everytime I have business at Warton.

Unfortunately our stay coincided with the English school term holiday.The hotel was full of children making a nuisance in the public spaces.

"lack of customer care"
On first arrival, we liked the room although it was a little small it was fine for two nights it had a good bed and a nice on suite bathroom. Unfortunately the frreview on the Tv didnt have a signal and our room didnt have a service/clean after the first night & I wasnt aware this was the case with my booking. We booked but missed breakfast on the first […] day, so expected to pay but not to be told by the proprieter "we had cooked breakfast & you didnt turn up". On the second day I went to breakfast & my boyfriend missed it which seen he was vegetarian was a good job as I wasnt asked what i would like for breakfast and was given a full english though which to be honest was good. I was aware that the hotel was serving breakfast till about 10.15am on the Sunday but when we went down at 9.50 the next day we were told no breakfast as everything had been turned off. It would of been nice to be offered a cup of tea but nothing. I honestly thought that because id seen people eating at 10.15 the day before that we would of been able to eat breakfast at 9.50 but it wasnt so. Although the room was quiet, bed good and the location very good I wouldnt return because of poor customer service. "Lovely owners but rooms needs en suites"
We thought the welcome & service were great. Breakfast was the best ever! However, the family room was a disappointment. We knew there was a shared bathroom, but shared with 5 rooms? Not good! The room was a tad small, but was very clean, well decorated and welcoming. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was much quieter than expected in blackpool.
