Great location for visiting the numerous sites and attractions of Liverpool / Merseyside whilst being on the outskirts of the city itself. Fabulous building which is immaculately maintained being the old LiverpoolAirport. Staff very pleasant. Only complaint is that you have to pay for Internet service so we found ourselves walking over to Macdonalds on the retail park opposite where it is FREE! If you plan to spend most of your trip in Livedpool City Centre be aware that you would need some transport. Luckily taxis and public transport are readily available.

We were very pleased with the central location of the hotel. There was wonderful shopping and many restaurants right outside our door. The view from our 7th floor apartment was lovely (gigantic floor to ceiling windows). My only complaint would be the size of the bedrooms - it was difficult to find a place for our suitcases in the bedrooms. Everything else was great - we would definitely return!

stayed in a few in the city and this is by far the best. Our taxi driver reinforced this when we told him where we were staying. fantastic hotel!

Nice clean hotel continent location for a Beatles fan 1 block from the museum maybe less. Good restaurants around the hotel. Helpful staff.

We used ahotel as a weekend getaway, was really satisfied with the service the hotel is within 5 minutes walk from the town centre, and about 15 minutes from the train station. It was really suitable that you could get access to you room any time of day or night, so if you ar planning to go clubbing, dont need to worry of getting into the hotel at late […] hours. "Excellent One Night Stay"
Literally minutes (by foot) from the northern end of Lord Street, so great location. Didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel, but very comfortable, clean with an absolutely superb breakfast and great hospitality.

I was looking for somewhere to say after visiting liverpool for an event and accidently found Bowden lodge even though it was not in liverpool it was easy to get to and didn't take long. As we arrived in the evening it wasn't until the morning we discovered the lovely town of South Port. The owners of Bowden lodge were very helpful in explaining where […] to find things and cook an awesome breakfast. It was clean and fresh and they accommodated our group very well. the rooms looked newly decorated and the beds were comfortable. although it was close to a road you did not have a lot of noise so a good night sleep was had by all. I would defiantly recommend the lodge to any one looking for somewhere in the area! it was a gem of a find! Read more
