While it was not as quaint as I had hoped this was a nice Inn and we did enjoy our stay. I did not know that there was no elevator so the stairs with heavy bags were a bit much--but the front desk, bellman, Jack of all trades helped with the baggage so no harm done!

Great Stay
Highly recommend this little gem. Rooms were a great mix of updated furnishing in an old country inn. Very clean, well cared for and great value. Pub and restaraunt were outstanding as well!

Comfortable Accommodations and Classic British Pub
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay. We traveled to Henley each day for the Women's Regatta, but found ourselves looking forward to returning to the hotel to enjoy a pint of the local craft beers and the creative and delicious offerings from the chef.

Excellent location for first night in the UK
We were going to be heading for Bristol after a long flight from Seattle and wanted to stay a short distance from Heathrow on the first night. This was an excellent spot to stop as it provided a good night''s sleep and good British food. We found the surrounding area of countryside to be perfect for a walk and a great way to have a rural experience in the UK.
