hotel was fine, for a night but over priced for the area. bathroom items were not satisfactory, and the tub shower combination were non existent. the room was small and faced the noisy street and overpass. room service was fast and the food was very good. There is ONLY one reason to stay here - convenience of location. If you need a few hours to take a nap between flights, then this works - if you can ignore the smell in the room! Hotels in Delhi are very expensive and this place is much, much cheaper than you will get at any of the large brands. I prevailed eventually, but I wasn't happy with the whole communication mix up. Anyway, the hotel's pickup and drop off rates are 4x expensive. My recommendation is just get a prepaid cab or a radio taxi to and from the airport, and avoid this hassle entirely. Delhi taxis are noted for their dirty tricks, so stick with radio taxis. Our key importance when choosing was proximity to airport and overall deal. By auto rickshaw the travelling time was about 7-8 minutes. For the amount we paid, I'd say it was good. We needed to use the phone to make an out of state call and that was quite costly. In general it was a bad experience. We arrived late in the night (past midnight) and had arraanged to have the hotel to pick us up. But nobody was there. Then I called the hotel and asked a status of the driver and I was told he was there - I got the number for the driver and tried to call him - nobody picked up. I called the hotel again, and not got […] the story that he was stuck in traffic (there is little traffic at this time). All in all it ended up in we had to charter a taxi to get driven there. During check in the clerk tried to convince us that we only had booked 1 room and not 2 as both the booking and the payment slip which I had shown him clearly showed. The room had a "funny" smell of urin and the airconditioning was so laud that to sleep you had to turn it off. Breakfast was nowhere near international standard nor reflecting the price of the stay. After 20 hours of travelling, 5 hours sleep my breakfast consisted of 2 boiled eggs. If the price had been 1/3 of what was paid, there would be a balance between price and quality. Read more

India is a hard place to find decent hotels. You're not going to find anything that appeals to a western taste below a certain price threshold. For a middle of the range costing place, the hotel saptagiri ticks enough boxes to be recommendable. I felt safe. There was hot water in the mornings. The staff are friendly, the free breakfast is delicious (if you enjoy Indian food, which if you're in india i'm assuming you do) and the place is located close enough to the airport so that when you arrive, its relatively low fuss to get there. Bring ear plugs and shower early and youll have a great time here on a budget price. It's not 10Rs a night, but trust me, anywhere that costs so little just wont be worth your time. Read more

Very conveniently located next to the IGI New Delhi airport. Nice clean room and bathroom, overall a comfortable stay for a day or two of layover. Service ok. On flip side - bathroom towels were stained and not clean. WiFi not working and had to wait until the next day for it to start working.

Our last night in India, at the Saptagiri hotel, was the worst in a month long trip. We had booked a club room with 2 transfers. We emailed the hotel with our arrival details and received their reply to confirm pickup. We were delayed by nearly three hours, arriving after midnight, to find no-one to pick us up. It then took another half hour for the […] hotel to send a taxi. We were not put in a club room but were too tired to delay going to sleep even longer and decided that trying to get the room we booked was not worth the hassle. The room was small but OK for the few hours we would be in it. The AC took several hours to cool the room to a acceptable temperature. Chose this hotel as it was close to the airport and the reviews were ok. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I had no window in my room, the bathroom was old and tired and breakfast was best left. The transfer to and from the airport was convenient but that was the bets part of staying at this hotel.

To be fair I may have just been unlucky, but i did not have a nice experience at this hotel. The main reason is because when booking I paid extra for the two way airport transfer. When some friendly staff did call the manager, he did not come down for so long that I finally just left. I paid an extra 25 dollars (I think) for half a service. Got no refund, but even worse no apology. My second issue was the construction. They had a workman drilling and hammering in the hotel at 8 am. After a long day of travel the day before this was not pleasing to say the least. Overall the rooms are suitably clean however very mediocre. While this is often the case, this hotel truly looks much nicer in the photos than in reality. The beds are quite small (I am 6ft). The location is not the nicest, but that is not a surprise, It is conveniently located to the airport for one stay overs for those passing through Delhi. However for the holiday traveller the location offers little, and for the business traveller, I will personally stay somewhere else next time. Read more

We booked the Saptagiri hotel for a 16 hour stopover in between flights from Kathmandu to London. Although our flight into Delhi was four and a half hours late, the hotel transport was there, with our name plackard, to take us to the Saptagiri, which was conveniently only a 10 minute taxi ride from the airport. Bed was comfortable and showere and bathroom excellent. There should have been tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but when explaining their absence to Reception, these were provided in less than 5 minutes. Excellent! Room service was also available and very quick and efficient. I would recommend the Saptigiri to anyone looking for a one or two night stopover, or even longer, although the surrounding area was not brilliant, it is right on the main route into the airport. Many thanks to the Saptigiri staff for making our stopover so pleasant. I would certainly recommend the Saptagiri to anyone and would most certainly use it again if I wish to stay in Delhi in the future. The hotel provides a good taxi service for day tours in Delhi - good if you just have a couple of hours or a day changeover between two flights. Unfortunately the driver brings you also to a huge shopping place for handcrafts etc. where staff puts a lot of pressure on you not to leave with empty hands...

部屋はそれほど悪くなく、インターネットも問題なくつながりました。 近くにメトロの駅があり、デリー中心部にも100ルピーですぐに行けます。 空港もメトロで1駅、チェックイン時には無料で迎えに来てくれます（要英語、携帯もあったほうがよい）。 使いませんでいしたがお風呂はスチームバスも可能なユニットとなっていました。 ただ、最初案内された部屋は前の人の食べ残しがあり、次の部屋は禁煙と言っていたにもかかわらず、喫煙の部屋へ、3番目に案内された部屋は部屋のキーが使えず、チェックイン当日には出入りするたびスタッフに鍵を開けてもらわないといけませんでした。 さらにタオルは言わなければ補充してもらえず、最終日昼12時チェックアウトで部屋で仕事していましたが、11時半ごろノックなしにスタッフが入ってきて催促されました。 スタッフはフレンドリーであったため悪く言いたくはないのですが、欧米の宿泊客が多く、チップ目当てのサービスのようにも感じられました。 なお、近くの「Four […] season」という食堂では安くてそこそこおいしいご飯が食べられます。 安宿覚悟での利用ならOKでしょう。 Read more
