"I love this place. Our new getaway retreat spot."Reviewed by Naika M of "Aviano" on Apr 4, 2012
Very awesome place. I will be going back. The staff was great and friendly. Even to us Americans. After a night of clubbing in Bologna we came back to the hotel. Winded up oversleeping our check out by 15 mins and not getting to use the pool. However they were nice and let us check out at our own pace and stay to use the pool until 4pm that same day AFTER checkout. I love them and tell everyone what a great place it is. We will be coming back.

"Charming B&B - Excellent Service"Reviewed by Travis N of "Phoenix, AZ" on Jun 30, 2011
When we first arrived, we were impressed by the front gated enterance. Inside there are beautiful grounds with a clean swimming pool. The best part about this updated establishment are the owners. They are helpful, friendly, and generous. The female owner drove us to the bus stop and helped teach us how to get around the city. She speaks particial English, which is helpful for this region. The husband brought us out fruit from their garden and ice for our drinks. We came to enjoy the swimming pool and in the hot Italian summer, it did not disappoint. Highly recommended for a more authentic Italian feel.
"Great, but had a time finding it."Reviewed by Sykes W. of "Myrtle Beach, SC" on Jun 20, 2011
The GPS couldn't find the hotel (not the hotel's fault, of course) and we got stupidly lost going in circles in downtown Ferrara. Once we made it there, it was a lovely experience. We were quite happy with the stay.
"Very historic"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Oct 4, 2010
One night on road trip from Milan to Siena. Desk staff was delightful as was the hotel. Well maintained and restful. Used computer map instructions and they were not too good. Recommend a GPS for this one.

"A night in Ferrara at the San Romano"
We wanted to stop somewhere for a little down time between the hustle and bustle of Rome and Venice. Ferrara was on the rail line, and had a great concert going on in the central square at the same time so we went for it. A quick search, led to a number of hotel options, and San Romano stuck out due to it's location and slightly more efficient cost. […] It was a very quick taxi ride from the train station, and we got checked in right away. Unlike Rome, the hotel staff spoke very little English, which was a good sign, that we weren't in another tourist trap. The free breakfast was sufficient though if really hungry you'll need to go elsewhere since it was limited. All in all, great for a quick stay, though if more than a night or two, may want to find somewhere a little more comfortable. It is a couple blocks from the center of Ferrara, right at the end of a major shopping street. Read more

Personnel accueillant.
