"DONT ASSUME 5STAR = GOOD SECURITY"
Disappointment from the moment I arrived here, they could not find my booking, asked me to pay for it again which i refused to do and demanded the hotel manager. then they asked us if we were married-this is the first time i hear of such a thing and finally-beteen 2 five star sheraton hotels, they lost my notebbok and no one really cares-im shocked […] and made a complaint as i hold the sheraton hotels responsible for the loss of my computer and all my work that went with it-NEVER will I use Sheraton again in all of my travels, frightening to say the least for 5 star rated hotels !!!

Personnel sympathique. "Quite, green, and"

I stayed their for a couple of days, it got a good location when you are interested in Giza and 6th of October districts, it is quite away from the busy city, few minutes to the mall of Arabiya, dream park, and to the ring road, The staff was helpful and ready to manage any discomfort. The price was extremely reasonable. I think it would need additional entertaining facilities and to advance the food menu, also i did not like charging for the internet it should be a basic thing in Sheraton.
"Not at Sheraton Level"

This will be an ongoing review. My stay is business related, but the hotel is not very ideal for this purpose. The employees hardly know what to do. Very sad. I had a chat with some other business trip ppl, and they confirmed me the decay of service recently. Very sad. The worst for me is that neither the wifi nor the in-room internet service with cable work reliable.

I had previously stayed at this hotel earlier in the month. Upon the check in the first time I was given a room on the second floor (223) which was in a poor condition physically and had an air conditioning until that didn't work. Upon notifying the front desk I was immediately escorted to a new room on the fourth floor (435). The room was in excellent order and the air conditioning worked very well. I then had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The stay was so enjoyable that I booked two rooms to stay with even more family from 6/17-6/20. I arrived at the hotel to check in. I asked the young man at the front desk for two adjoining rooms. His initial reaction was that he could not accommodate the request. I responded by noting that the hotel was at MAXIMUM 20% capacity. Magically then he was able to find two rooms on the second floor which we're adjoining. I settled into the rooms I noticed that the conditions of the room (marks on the wall) as well as air conditioning we're not working. I went back to the front desk and informed the young man of the condition and asked for another set of adjoining rooms. I even expressed to him that I had a similar circumstance when I had stayed at the hotel earlier in the month and the room on the fourth floor (435) was acceptable. He then got a manager who chose to tell me that the air conditioning worked in the room just fine. I told them that as an American I booked Sheraton because it is a brand that I can trust because of the American standards. Then after a great ordeal back and forth the young man gave us rooms 437 and 439 which we're adjoining and had working air conditioning. This type of check in is absolutely unacceptable and ridiculous. As someone who was returning after a great experience prior, this definitely ruined it for me and I will check other hotels in the area in the future. Congrats, Sheraton Dreamland...you lost a repeat customer!

I stayed at this hotel for three nights with my family earlier this month. While the hotel was nowhere close to capacity for the most part it has still been maintained well. The biggest pro I have for this location is the two swimming pools which are both kid friendly. I particularly liked the pool that had the children's pools connect to the opening in the main pool. I traveled with a 2 year old and he along with the rest of the family had a blast. The rooms had the most comfortable mattresses that I have ever slept in while visiting in Egypt. On top of that the A/C was cold and crisp which was a savior given that the temperature was 113F on one of the days during our stay. The only aspect which was disappointing was that the young man at the front desk didn't offer my family any kind of dinning packages for breakfast or dinner. Our choice was either pay a la carte or dine elsewhere, we chose the latter. Nevertheless we had a great stay and now I will be heading back next week with even more family (booked 2 rooms) for an extended weekend holiday!
"best value for money"
That hotel was originally built to be a landmark, but unfortunately the Tourism industry was heavily affected by the Egyptian security situation. Thus they never completed the 2nd wing of the hotel and it left there half finished as a memorial to how great that place would have been. Anyway it the perfect place for a couple of days get away, but mainly for Egyptians and resident expats. It is not close to the pyramids, nothing to view from the rooms but the pools. The rooms are so newly furbished and spacious. Nice modern architecture and very comfortable beds, at the end it is still a sheraton.

Sheer unspoilt luxury. It did not feel like we were in Cairo at all. Quiet, relaxing weekend break. Five star plus more for this hotel. Staff catering for your every need. We could not fault anything. Luxury shopping at Mall of Arabia a short taxi ride away. Child's luxury play area in the Mall from tots to teens, while mum does some relaxed shopping. Restaurants , cinema all in the Mall. Then after a shop till you drop, back to luxury hotel. Fabulous pool two in fact and big, with jecuzzi. What else, a five star plus, at an affordable price.
"Nice Hotel next to an amusement park but don't do tour to Pyramids with hotel"
05/22/14 ElroydBlake Alberton, South Africa
The Hotel was nice, my room was very spacious I stayed in one of the suites. The front house staff were friendly and helpful and even allowed me to check in at 8am after a long flight. I was rather annoyed at breakfast time as you are not offered any coffee. You have to call a waiter for coffee. The waiters are also eager to take stuff away from your table , leaving you with no cutlery. The breakfast spread was not really good and I only ate pastries and yoghurt. The room service menu was limited and not that appetizing. Also what is mentioned on the menu was not always what was on the plate. Ex teh fish and chips is supposed to have a tartar sauce and never saw this. The Chicken was supposed to be served with chips and came with rice. The biggest disappointment was the organised tours. Beware do not use these . It is an absolute rip off. I selected the full day tour of Pyramids of Giza, Sphinx and Egyptian museum. It cost $125 , so I expected a lot for all that money. A guy arrived to pick me up and could hardly speak English. He dropped me off at a shop at Pyramids and some guy was trying to sell me a horseback ride for 1300 Egyptian pounds. It was terrible and I hated every minute of this guy trying to rip me off. Eventually I agreed for him to take me to Pyramids. I was harassed constantly and had to pay 500 Egyptian pounds for his service of walking with me, and pressuring me to hurry up. The driver then took me to Egyptian museum and back home. I really felt ripped off and disappointed. When you are at the hotel you are limited in travelling and cannot walk anywhere . There are no Shuttles and I booked a airport pickup and nobody arrived to fetch me. Other than that the room was comfortable and I slept fairly ok.

I have stayed in the Sheraton a couple of times, most recently for 4 nights in May 2014 and wish I could find an alternative. Unfortunately it seems all the hotels in this area are equally as poor. The Sheraton is located in the middle of nowhere and on the occasions I have stayed there there have been very few guests and the restaurant service reflects this. The breakfast is repetitive and extremely poor quality. If I have to return to Cairo in the future I will most definitely stay somewhere else.

Last week I was in Cairo spending my annual vacation with my family, I received a dinner invitation from Two of your Hotel Guest to discus some business issue, They was waiting me in the main restaurant as far it was my first visit to the hotel Gently I asked the receptionist about the location of the restaurant But I recognized that he is ignoring me for 2 minutes he was busy chatting with house man or bellman with Football and he just said go down, My host was waiting me there, atmosphere in restaurant was relaxing, Dinner buffet was good service was great. What was really bad is the Toilet there was no paper napkin, I saw dead Cockroach in the sink. As far I was recommended Egypt for them one year before to enjoy their anniversary , I had to ask them about their staying, Not “they usual travel with Sheraton “ It surprised me their complains about their day arrival 30 minutes for cheek in, Toilet was dirty there was missing shampoo and shower, and when they ordered more, they brought it after more than 2 hour and 3 calls.
