Staff was friendly, polite and responsive. They quickly supplied a microwave after we asked. Beds and bedding were among the best we've ever experienced. The one big problem was outdoor floodlights shining directly into the windows of the rooms on the first floor where we were. Even with the curtains drawn, it never got very dark in the room. The TV […] remote did not work from either bed. You had to be very close to the TV in order for it to work. In my experience, hotel remotes are notoriously poor, this one was especially so. Maintenance replaced it, but it worked marginally better than the first one. Other than that, the hotel worked for us. Its location is perfect for exploring all of the southern end of Vancouver Island with easy access to highways going in all directions. Read more

It was not really in Victoria, not easy to find and did not look like a Sheraton. The room looked more like a summer retreat cabin. However it was comfortable and had a nice pool. Service was good. The room was clean but not impressive.

Only 15 minutes from downtown Victoria and the rooms were much cheaper compared to downtown and there is plenty of free parking. The restaurant food was very good. We had our breakfast, before we headed out for the day.

Hotel was very comfortable. Reception desk staff were very helpful at recommending places to eat, shortcuts etc. Only problem was the hotel's single restaurant. It's a bar/grill. Food was good but was understaffed and not really the kind of decor/environment I would have preferred in a nice hotel.

i had stayed in this hotel previously in a regular room and was pleased with the experience. For this visit, I wanted the flexability of a kitchenette to prepare some food and snacks, so paid what I considered to be a much higher rate for a sink, counter, no table to sit at, had to ask for the microwave and cooking things, and still was not worth it […] to try to boil water on a whimpy hot plate. This room did not meet expectations. There were no chairs or anywhere to sit to moniter the kids in the pool despite a big sign saying not to leave them there alone. Location is in the suburbs, overlooking a Costco parking lot. We were given the first room on the ground floor, just off the lobby and the stairway down to the pub (were told that it was the only room available at time of check-in). The noise of the lobby area, the kids running down the hallway screaming on their way to the pool, and the late night […] pub parties - all made for an unenjoyable stay. Additionally, to drown out the noise, we ordered a movie-on-demand and it continually skipped...handyman was sent to room, and when he could not fix, then promised us a refund, yet found it on our bill at checkout. We enjoyed our stay here - the rooms are nicely decorated and spacious and the staff is very friendly. Unfortunately the location is not convenient for visitors to Victoria, as you have to drive 20 minutes into downtown. The hotel's pub/restaurant is very expensive and the quality of our meal (we chose items recommended by the staff and hyped in the […] menu) was disappointing. We did not use the jacuzzi because the temperature is set at 101 F. The beds were amazing! I woke up feeling very well rested. As well the fitness centre was well maintained with new equipment. The pool and hot tub were great after working out. The outdoor patio had a great view and great food.

The room was very nice with a modern decor. Bed was comfortable and there was a "kitchette like counter area" with a microwave, fridge and sink along with dishes which would be very convenient for travelers wishing to do some of their own food. Breakfast at the hotel was very good and had comparable rates to area restaurants. We did not use swim pool […] and excercise room but checked them out and they appeared to be clean and nicely done. The thermostat for temp control in the room was not user friendly and we found ourselves either too hot or cool. It is important to know that this property is not close to downtown Victoria but is close to Langford and Goldstream but not within walking distance. First off, let me say the hotel was not as bad as I thought, despite the horrendous reviews on Hotels.ca. Yes, it sits just besides a Costco, but the other side of the building provides a nice enough view. Someone reported noise from the pub's patio, but we didn't hear a thing. My biggest issue would be the location. It's rather far from downtown Victoria. […] A good 10-20 minutes, if there's no traffic, much more at rush hours. Not knowing the city, we had not realized this from the maps. The second biggest issue would be the carpet on the room floors. It's ugly and terribly installed (it sags!!!). Despite all this however, we had a rather pleasant stay, and the staff while not being quite up to the standards one would expect from a Sheraton branded hotel was courteous and useful. All in all, not a bad stay, but keep in mind that it's located in the suburbs. Read more

We did not expect that it is quite far from the inner harbour /downtown...we checked in very late and left very early (back in Seattle)...But the room given to us is very spacious, and clean ..and the bathroom is very modern,also very large...the room is so comfy that we had a restful night...

This was a nice hotel. Everything looks fairly new and clean. This hotel probably caters more to an older crowd since there is a pub and outdoor restaurant. Not a lot for kids to do except for the pool. Great place to stay if just looking for a place to stop on the way to somewhere else. Lots of shopping nearby as well.

A wee bit out from downtown Victoria, but hotel is comfy, bar is good, food is good and the facilities in the hotel are good. Nice thing about where the hotel is, we explored the area around us a were pleasantly surprised with what we found in the area.I would stay again, no question. Lady at the front desk was the nicest hotel clerk I have ever met. Only issue I had was I could hook up my laptop with a cord , they dont have any outlets in the rooms. I was having issues with thier wireless.

Our initial contact was with the front desk and the gentleman in attendance gave us great service. However, the advertising and the posting of signage indicating that there was a "pub and spa" was misleading. I chose the hotel because of the spa, which we found to have been converted to a boardroom. The advertising also included that there were bath […] tubs. The rooms we had only had showers and we were told we would have had to have requested a bath tub. Our air conditioning did not work - in the high heat of the outside our room continually registered 26 degrees and although we called for the maintainance man it remained 26 for two days, until we requested a second room which was so frigidly cold that we had to turn off the ac. The filthy and rumpled carpets which were being replaced according to a posted notice, were unfortunate. We were highly dissatisfied and were given a free night elsewhere, however it was a very poor experience. Read more

The overall hotel was nice, and granted there were signs indicating the ongoing upgrading of the hallway carpet, there were a few minor things that could have been done to really bring this hotel up over the top. Good Hotel in excellent condition, good rooms. We stayed a family of Seven in two rooms. Shopping centre nearby and close to main highway which takes you straight into Victoria Inner harbour or straight to Nanaimo. Our only complaint was that this hotel was listed as a "Hotel Partner" for the Victoria Goddess Half Marathon but none of the staff were aware of the event. Other than that the staff were extremely courteous, helpful and accommodating. Since the run's events wouldn't be over until after noon, there was no problem letting us have a late check-out time. […] We were then able to come back to the hotel, relieve our muscles in the hot tub and then go back to our room to shower before leaving. We really enjoyed our stay. I was worried after reading some reviews that said it was noisy but our room was very quiet and although about 15mins from downtown was a beautiful area with lots to do around it.
