The stay at the Ramada Encore Crewe was extremely pleasant and quiet. Our rooms were clean too. The hotel is very close to the train station, as it is just down the road, which was very convenient for daily trips to London and Chester. It is also very close to Manchester too. This hotel is but a few years old. It is very clean and fresh. The restaurant has a great selection and room service is prompt. It is about a half mile walk from the Crewe train station but there is not very much to do in the immediate surroundings of the hotel as it is located in a business park. I will likely stay again on my next visit to Crewe.

An overall good hotel with good pricing. However, one thing that really annoyed me was that during my 4 day stay I had to return to reception with my key card 4 times (!) because it did not work. Every day when we returned to the room the key wouldn't work. We wondered if the information on it (or in the lock) was being re-set at a certain time every […] day, as that was what it seemed like. I told the staff that there must be something wrong with the system but they didn't seem to listen or care, they did apologize though but that doesn't mean very much to you've been running up and down for the 3rd time. Another thing that really should be looked in to is the ventilation of the rooms. Every morning when we woke up there was a big pool of water on the window sill, from condensation on the window. We thought it might be the steam from the bathroom and closed that door after we had a shower but there didn't seem to be any proper ventilation in the bathroom either, since after an hour with a shut door the damp hadn't gone. The problem for us was that it was way too cold outside to open the window so we just had to put up with the dampness of the room but for your own sake you should look in to this before the rooms start to develop rot or mold. We weren't too happy with the computer down at the reception either. It was so slow that we gave up entirely on trying to check our emails. The computer is either very virused or the internet connection is far too slow. Apart from all this the hotel was to satisfaction. Read more

after the stay in this hotel the follow night my stay was with (Hampton by Hilton Liverpool/John Lennon Airport). when you compare the two their is a big differents in term of service and attention to detail, Hampton by Hilton make you feel important and much welcoming, i.e when asked will it be possible for late check out, i have no promlems with the […] reception to say no if is not available when checked availability, my point is, when ask Ramada Encore Crewe the same question for late check out it did not boughter to check for availability and just say check out time 12pm. Whilst the room was fine for the money & the staff were on the whole friendly & helpful the breakfast was absolutely terrible :-dishes & cups were dirty , only half the toaster was working,the food was unacceptable - it was a buffet although we had been told the previous night we would be able to order from the menu; the fried eggs were swimming in […] grease, the mushrooms were like rubber the bacon hardly had any meat on it & the beans were congealed. For a business trip the hotel was adequate, the Wifi seemed sporadic and only worked in limited public areas, my colleague had to change rooms a number of times which was quite inconvenient. However for a basic hotel for work overnight stays it is somewhere to put your head.

Overall a comfortable 4 night stay. Room was not serviced until late afternoon which meant we had to request clean towels on two occasions and the breakfast on Sunday was poor on selection of fruit - only grapefruit slices which many older people on tablets cannot eat!

Stayed here for two nights, had breakfast on the first morning and can conclude that its just not worth the money, paid £19 for the two of us, the staff just about managed to produce some cooked items, choice of fresh fruit and cereals was also meagre - for that money go to harvester and get a rack of ribs each!

Very nice hotel. Stayed here when I visited Alton Towers. The reception was very helpful and nice with checking us in late at night. Room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable for a hotel!! Free parking so easy to get to and find. Would recommend to anyone that needs to stay in and around this area.

Good clean hotel with exellent service from in particular bar and waiting staff. Only downside, pillows on beds were not very good quality - shrunk into nothing very quickly so, not the best night's sleep.

Hotel was warm and comfortable, staff very helpful , only one on reception to deal with 5 people at the time I arrived! And the restaurant was quite unappealing, looked like a works canteen , rather than a individual eatery that's exclusive and in it's own environment, lacked privacy, but more or less happy with ramada crewe. The room was superficially clean but I discovered dried blood stains on one of the pillows and random stains on the walls by the bed. The pillows were awful, really lumpy and uncomfortable. We did not get a good night's sleep for various reasons, which included the fire alarm going off at 4am, meaning that we all had to evacuate the building and wait […] around outside for a while. In the morning, before we awoke, the cleaner entered our room! She didn't return to clean it so we didn't get any more supplies for the coffee/tea making facilities or enough clean, fresh towels. Hotel stay was mediocre. Hotel receptionist spoke as if she was reading from a script with no passion or meaning. Room booked was a double room and bed was the size of a 3/4 bed - rather small! However, the breakfast was really nice.

We stayed at the Ramada in Crewe for just one night on our way from Kent to a wedding in Cheshire. We only wanted a stop over that we could relax in and get ready before the wedding as we were unable to check into our next room in another hotel until 3pm. When we arrived the lady on checkout was very friendly. We had booked through Hotels.com but when […] we checked in she told asked us if we wanted to pay for breakfast the next morning - this was confusing as we had chosen the bed and breakfast option but the lady informed us this must be an admin error with the website and told us that we could have breakfast without paying any extra. The hotel was very modern and clean, two working lifts and a lovely big, free car park. The rooms were lovely and clean, very comfortable and a perfect base for the night. T.V could have been better as very small. Would have expected something better in a modern hotel. The bathroom (which is something I am very fussy about) was lovely and clean with a fantastic walk in power shower. The bed was very comfortable, although it would have been nice to have two pillows each (although we could have gone down to reception to get more). The Ramada in Crewe is well placed if you have business in or need to be near Crewe. We were disapointed however with the service. Having just stayed in a Travelodge (very cheap but clean and comfortable) we had expected more from the Ramada. On our first night the swivel chair in our room collapsed under me and broke - luckilly I was fine apart from […] a bruise. We reported this 3 times but it was still in our room and still broken when we left 3 days later.
