In terms of hotel services, were wonderful from start to finish. There are 2 things I would like to share with everyone here is about how loud the noise from airport was. Man, we were looking for a hotel close enough to airport, but never expected the loud noises :( so, if I was to book again, I will probably book somewhere else a little far from airport. […] And the second issue I found was the pillows or maybe i should say MINI-pillows. Extremely convenient to access the airport, comfortable room, good breakfast bar in the morning, awesome assortment of TV channels, and a very friendly staff. This was a great stay as per usual. Great service, comfy rooms, awesome breakfast! I even tried out the delivery food this time around. The front desk had a great selection of menu's to select from, food was fast, and cost effective. Mario is the best!

Hotel was a bit odd. It took us a few minutes to figure out how to turn the lights on - they operated off your hotel key card! It seems like that should have been something the staff told us about when we checked in. At first we thought all the light bulbs were burnt out. Once we knew, it was fine. Hotel was clean, comfortable and convenient to downtown Detroit. Fairly quiet considering it's on one of the main flight paths. Nice breakfast each morning. Only complaint is the flimsy bath towels.

I needed to stay near the airport for one night and went to Springhill Suites because of its proximity to the airport and the price, which was very reasonable. Overall, I was happy with the experience. The rooms are modern, well lit, and very clean. The shower was wonderful! There was a really nice desk set up for working and in the internet connection […] was good. My negatives are: the hotel was not on the list of those you could call directly at the airport. I had to use my cell to call the hotel for the shuttle. The hotel had no restaurant of its own. You could cross the parking lot to the Holiday Inn's restaurant (bar food) or order in (mostly pizza). The hotel was conveniently located near the airport, less than a 5 minute shuttle ride. I was in Detroit on business and had to drive into downtown everyday, but the commute is only 20 miles. The hotel staff was very friendly and willing to help if needed. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows just right. I don't like the huge pillows many hotels […] like to use. Room was spacious and clean. I used it as an office. I was there during hurricane Sandy and my flight got cancelled. We only stayed for the night for convenience to get to DTW. Absolutely loved the shape of room & that there was a "living room" separate from the bed area. Was great when I was ready to lay down & my boyfriend wanted to watch TV. Not a huge fan of the shower head the used & raised area to get into toilet but other then that, it was great.

Nice hotel. Good service. Clean & comfy. Bathroom is split up between 2 rooms - 1 with shower, another with toilet. Doors to both bathrooms allow for the light to shine right into the sleeping area. Not a huge problem - but a bit unusual for those who could sleep longer - if the light hadn't been an issue.

It was the worst stay i have ever had. The rooms were not stock with towels or wash clothes. I stayed for 2 nights and my room was not cleaned. The Stay was very unfriendly and unhelpful. I would never stay there again or recommend them to anyone.

Loved this property. Spacious, clean rooms with lots of space to work. Appreciate the lobby bar and breakfast service that starts at 5:30 am. I was on the shuttle to airport at 6:00 and thru security and at my gate by 6:30!! Will stay here again if stuck in Detroit.
