Reception staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for you. The hotel location was good - just outside of the main area so a short walk from town but near a local park which was lovely to walk through. Rooms and facilities were a bit dated and could do with updating but useable...I didn't eat in the hotel so not able to comment there but the Sunday […] roast looked nice and was popular. E xpedia rating this hotel a 41/2star it would have struggled to reach a 3star, the most dreadful hotel we have ever stayed in all of Australia, and we have spent over 13 weeks here over 2 visits.

Hotel was older. Room was not very large. Bathroom was cramped and needed to be remodelled. Air conditioning was not on in lobby lounge or bar area and temps were at least 30-35C outside. We couldn't stay for more than 1 drink. Location was good because it was a short walk through the park to the restaurant and bar area. While the room was somewhat small the room was clean and comfortable. We found the service to be excellent. The hotel is a short walk to the CBD and is close to other other sites in central Adelaide. We were pleased with our stay and would recommend this hotel as we felt we received good value for the price.

Nice hotel, very convenient to the city and parklands. Would stay here again. Desk staff very helpful. Pool was a bit small, but would have used it, if I had more time. I ate breakfast at a local café (restaurant offered breakfast buffet only).

While the room and service was pleasing. I rated the hotel as disappointing because of the poor parking facilities. The number of parking spaces was inadequate and cramped. We booked 4 rooms for 5 nights and my brother's family also had a room for 2 nights. Our rooms were at the back, so the view was of the car park, which was good to keep an eye on the cars :) Two of the rooms had park views which were nice. While we were there, the parking was enough, but I can imagine that on busy nights it could become full. There […] is access to public transport, and the city is around 30 minutes pleasant walk through the parklands. I thought that the bed was too hard, but my wife was very comfortable. The towels were big and fluffy. The room service was good. All the staff were courteous. I thought that the breakfast was expensive at $15 for continental and $22 for cooked. There was an option to have room breakfast, but we wanted to meet as a family in the dining room. Given that we were such a large group we thought some concessions could have been offered. Some of our family thought the variety at breakfast could have differed daily. We were disappointed that the pool and sauna were closed for winter. Say that on the booking site, so we dont expect that we are paying for use of an indoor heated pool and sauna. That is false advertising. Great friendly people. Great location (in terms of what I wanted - proximity to the National Wine Centre). But the place does need a total renovation. They've done their best to freshen up (in terms of painting, carpets etc) but the rooms really need to be gutted and start again. Although somewhat old, this hotel was in a great location and has been recently renovated inside! Staff were very helpful and the room was comfortable and clean. I would recommended staying here if you are looking for cheap accomodation.

Whilst this is not the most up to date and modern hotel, the staff are fantastic! I arrived in Adelaide after an horrendous (long and very uncomfortable) overnight coach journey from Alice Springs. I arrived at the hotel at 09.00, with check-in not until 14.00, and upon asking whether it would be possible to check-in, not thinking for a minute it would […] be, I was given a bigger room than I'd booked (as there were no rooms available of the size I'd reserved) at no additional cost for immediate use. This place is marketed as a hotel but is rather an upmarket motel. I chose to stay here as was convenient for a conference I was attending. However I was very disappointed with the quality of the venue. The furnishings are tired and dated - a renovation it a must!!

Bel hôtel, agréable, propre, confortable, bonne literie, calme et bien situé par rapport au centre ville accessible à pieds. Grille pain dans la chambre. pièce avec machine à laver et sèche linge. Seul bémol, chambre un peu petite pour 1 grand lit +1 lit 1 personne mais malgré tout je pourrais y retourner et je le recommande.
