I chose this hotel based on customer reviews (many sources), price (less expensive) and proximity to train station ( right across the street). Was not disappointed in my choice. 15-20 minute walk to town center or bus stop outside hotel door. Room was very quiet given location and construction on main street. Free wifi a plus with excellent internet […] connection. Would liked to have had a mini-fridge in the room. There is a small bar available 24 hrs staffed by reception desk person. Reception desk is past elevators/entrance so not sure they are managing who enters the hotel - hopefully they have CCTV. Read more

There was a lot of road construction around the hotel so difficult to access and noisy. The worst thing was the lack of 'real' airconditioning. They use some energy efficient a/c which translated into no a/c and it was very warm during our stay. Very uncomfortable. The Husa de la Couronne hotel is very well located, right across the street from the train station with several good restaurants within walking distance, and just a short trip south of the city center. The desk staff was friendly and helpful, and their breakfast (surcharge) was ok. I'm still not used to european breakfast. Overall this was a great room with a great price and location. It was a little bit warm in the room and the locked window prevented me from getting some cool air in the room to make my sleep more comfortable. I am sure if I asked they would have opened it for me as they were very friendly, but was not enough of an issue for me to bother them with. The room was small and clean but aesthetically sterile. Location was in a strip of bars and taverns across from the railway station, not unsafe but not very pleasant. Staff were agreeable but not very knowledgeable. Two-tiered breakfast was a good arrangement. Coffee and rolls for 6E was fine for me, but you could go for the full spread at 14E.

One important tip: if you need to park a car, ask the hotel staff about the parking garage down the street, which charges extremely reasonable rates for, e.g., a week or unlimited entries and exits. Despite being a non-smoking hotel, I consistently smelled smoke throughout the hallways, and my room had a sort of chemical smell at first. But it was otherwise clean and neat, the bed was comfy, and the location so near the train/bus station was quite convenient. Decent for the money.

Everything is exactly as you see in the pictures. The bedroom is very small, but it's very clean. There are a lot of restaurants around the hotel and it's not far from the center of the city. We were very pleased with the Husa de la Coronne. The entrance is unpretentious as is the small reception area. However, don't be mislead by first impressions. Our room was beautiful: large, in excellent condition and well designed. The hotel is opposite the new main rail station designed by Calatrava which is an architectural gem. With the card provided by the hotel, parking in the garage down the street was 10 Euros, and good until 2 p.m. the following day. Don't be put off by the outside of the hotel the inside is well furnished and well maintained. The hotel is very convenient for Liege railway station but a distance from the centre of Liege - however taxis and good bus connections are just outside.

First of all, this was a difficult place to find, but for future visitors head for the architectually stunning Guillemins railway station, the hotel is right opposite the front entrance. Don't be put off by the exterior, the rooms are several classes above the outside appearance and surrounding area. Smart decor, lovely bathroom and well fitted out […] clean bedroom, can recommend for a stay, however can''t comment on breakfast as booked room only. It is about a mile or so walk into the centre of Liege, but there are regular buses nearby and you always have the station as a reference point. Reception was very helpful and we had a comfortable stay, only downside which may put some off, a little exterior noise, it being in such a busy area. Many bars, shops and restaurants nearby, not the prettiest area but we felt safe enough. Would have no problem staying here again. Read more

We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel, it is not located in the city centre but is directly opposite the train/bus station and is only a ten minute walk to the city centre with restaurants/bakery/supermarket nearby. The room was spacious, very new and the staff could not do more to help. We did not have breakfast as it was 6 euro for coffee/croissant […] and we found a nice bakery nearby. Hotel moderne, lit confortable, salle de bain neuve et fonctionnelle, juste en face de la gare design (on a pu déjeuner dans cette gare dans un restaurant design très sympa) à 15 mn à pied de l'hyper centre. Des tableaux colorés relèvent le côté confort sobre et design.

Hôtel avec très bon rapport qualité prix. C'est propre partout . Ma chambre spacieuse donnait sur une cour intérieure donc une chambre très silencieuse. Il est un peu difficile de trouver une place autour de l’hôtel pour garer sa voiture . Il faut donc voir la réception pour avoir l'adresse d'un parking avec lequel l’hôtel a un accord.
