The Grand Beach Hotel just became our new favorite in Miami. Newly built, great appearance, stylish, clean and great service at a decent price. Located just north of the north end of the boardwalk on Miami Beach it's still close enough for a walk down to the South Beach attractions, without being charged the astronomic prices 10 or 20 blocks south. […] Great value. We had a two bedroom ocean front suite which was beautiful. The food by the pool, indoor restaurant and room service were all excellent. The hotel was really pretty and has wonderful balconies. The only negative was the valet which was horrible! Twice the front desk said they were tell the valet to get my car the valet was not aware of it. The last […] time the man they sent to get my car could not figure out how to start it so we had to wait a half hour because they said they could not reach the person by phone. When he finally made an appearance the hood was unlatched. It is a nice hotel so why do they have a valet who doesn't know how to start a BMW? In addition, there is a young female valet who is badly in need to customer relations training. It really doesn't take much effort to say hello, ask if they have been helped, look people in the eye, etc. If you can ignore the valet issue, it is a really nice hotel. Read more

Kudos to human resources dept. at Grand Beach....Staff was superb from front desk to great concierge - George and friendliest room service waiter Jeremy. Food was not great.

Great hotel with excellent staff. Bright airy decor and hallways are brightly light. I stayed in a two bedroom oceanfront room which was very spacious with a great view. The lobby bar stays open late and the drinks were great and the bartender was very friendly. The breakfast buffet in the hotel resturant was excellent and well priced. Only one resturant […] and the gift shop is quite small. Great access to the beach, however, the chair and umbrella rentals are a bit pricey. Great pool area with two pools and hot tub. Location is a short ride to South Beach and the cab fare is only $18. The hotel does not have self parking and valet is $29/day which is a bit much. It would have been nice to have more shopping and resturants nearby. This hotel is pricey but well worth it. I would definitely stay here again. Totally loved this hotel. Read more

new - white- bright - marble - excellent appearance and rooms (suite). young crowd - quite a lot of kids - but an adults only pool and area to get away form the youngsters.

Had initially booked with Marenas resort - 2 bedroom suite - awful hotel - rooms were not clean, the pool was just a sad excuse for a pool, dirty cushions on pool chairs, etc. Hotels.com was so efficient in switching us to the Grand Beach Hotel which was just amazing. I loved, loved, loved, loved, loved, loved, loved.... did I mention loved this hotel. not only was the hotel, clean, rooms were huge, my oceanfront view was breathtaking, the elevators had NO long waits..but the customer service was the icing on the cake. I stayed here January 26-30th 2012 and I am not sure if it was just a good time to stay because […] I felt like the hotel catered to our every need. Valet, waited the most 5 minutes even when the line was long, the room service they said an hour but it only took them 40 minutes. One night we returned to the hotel from a night out on Ocean Dr. (where all the hoopla is) it had to be around 3 am and the valet was not in sight, we walked into the hotel and due to the fact the valet was in the back out of sight, manager quickly called the valet and he took our car for us. Though we didnt mind the 1 minute search for the valet, the manager was nice enough to send up some croissants and coca-colas for us waiting at all. TOTALLY unexpected, but much apprecitated. We spent one day at the adult pool on the 7th floor and got a chance to take advantage of the happy hour. The bar tender provided 2 extra shots at no additional cost try the frozen tropical passionfruit it was delicious and only $4 . loved it! If you want to come visit south beach but dont want be in the chaos in the low Collins ( 5th-30th blocks) come to the Grand Beach hotel. It's clean, the service is friendly and the hotel is a beautiul! I really wish there was a Grand brach in Vegas or LA. Please build more. we will definitely be back again. Read more

This hotel is right on the beach and has a balcony with a beach front or intercoastal view. They are gorgeous and relaxing views. This was my second stay at this hotel. They even have a pool for adults only. It was nice being we wanted to have a relaxing trip with just the 2 of us. The only disappointment was some minor stains on the carpet and couch […] cushions. The rooms are all white so I guess it is a little difficult to keep them spotless. We decided to not complain because the view from the room was perfect. You could see both the intercoastal and the ocean. The staff was very nice and even called to see if everything was okay. I had trouble accessing the wifi however someone came and helped me within a short time of being there. Just beware.......... I am not sure why this happened but after receiving my credit card bill, the hotel charged me for the room and so did hotels.com. Hotels.com fixed the misunderstanding. Just make sure they know at the desk that you have already paid for the room with hotels.com upon checking out. I thought it was clear but apparently it was not. Read more

Very beautiful room and ocean view

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was courteous and helpful. I booked a room with ocean view, which I got, but I was a little disappointed that the view from my balcony, which was on the side of the building, was not as spectacular as shown on the website. Very nice hotel. FYI, they charge $29 a night to park your car which is very reasonable for Miami Beach. The hotel and staff was great. 2 pools with the one on the 7th floor for adults only. The beach is really nice and the rooms are super clean and beautiful. The staff offers good service. The pool could be better.. I was expecting something more outstanding.

My wife and I stayed there for the second time in the past year. The service and standards were good on both accounts. The rooms are nice with 2 flat screen TVs in separate areas. Clean and comfortable and I also like that each room has an extra small bath with toilet, small sink and shower which makes it nice when we come back from the beach. An adults […] only pool on the outside deck of the 7th floor is a nice getaway from the family pool area. Great place for couples or a family. Lots of kids there this past time. Expect additional costs to stay. $29 per night for valet parking, $30 per day for chairs and umbrella on the beach, and the restaurant is a little pricey as well although convenient. You will need a car to get to restaurants and shopping as the hotel is located in a primarily residential section of the beach. Read more

The rooms were immaculate; cleaning ladies did wonders of our messy rooms every day. The pools are perfect for kids. Location to beach is perfect... 1 minute walk. That said, they need to work on the quality of food of the restaurant. Honestly, greasy, not good. If they fix that, this is a perfect place for the price.

Just one suggestion: the hotel should either buy fitted bottom sheets, or teach the roomkeepers how to make a bed. We had to re-do our bed every night! And the quality of breakfast could be improved, considering the prices... Otherwise, a great place, people very nice, great location and very nice rooms. Having an extra bath was also a plus. Hotel is lovely, room terrific, but, oh....the reservation and front staff!!! I had a room booked (and prepaid) for 4 nights starting on a Friday. Called and alerted them (and got person's name) that I would be coming in on Saturday a.m. early on a red eye, would pay for the Friday night because I needed to go to sleep as soon as I got there at 7am […] Sat. Flight got delayed and did not get in until 2pm Sat. Called again (from West Coast) to alert them, and was told my room had been given away and there was no other. Unfortunately I had to get quite demanding to get my room back. Was told there was no person by the name of ........ which I had been given and had asked to specifically note in the reservation that I would be coming in the next day. The front office manager and the staff I spoke to were unhelpful, unaccommodating and uninterested. such a pity for such a nice hotel. But I really don't think they care. Read more

I could not have been more impressed with the service I received from both Hotels.com and the Grand Beach Hotel. I was greeted immediately by warm and friendly staff, they were more than accomodating. I was quickly given a key to my beautiful suite on the 19th floor. Perfect size hotel - not too big it's overwhelming and you feel like a number, but not so small that you miss out on amenities. Close to the nightlife and restaurants on South Beach but not in the hub of it all. Great beach access right off of the hotel with comfortable chairs/umbrellas (for rent). Overall, the hotel was nice. I didn't care for the location simply because it wasn't within walking distance to any restaurants or shopping. It was right on the beach/ocean so if you are traveling for that you will be happy. The pools were great. The rooftop(adult only) pool was swanky. It was great to have a quiet area in the city! The other pools […] were surrounded by lush landscaping and had great lounge chairs. I would travel back to this hotel for the pools alone, and the great oceanfront location. If you are traveling on business (as I was) this hotel is far from any restaurants or shopping. Cabs are very accessible, but expect to spend a lot cabbing into town for each meal or to enjoy the day shopping. The valet guys were very helpful and nice, while the front desk workers were confused about everything that was asked to them. My room had a lovely view of the bay and a very comfortable bed. If you book a King Bay Suite with the pullout couch, it's nice because you have essentially two seperate bedrooms, with two bathrooms. One last thing to mention, bottled water was $8 and the nearest place to buy cheaper products is Walgreens, which is 2 miles away. Read more

I was hoping to stay further down in South Beach. There are some easy walks to places, but if you want clubs then you'll have to take a cab. I wouldn't suggest renting a car cause you have to pay daily to keep it in the garage. I guess it depends on your situation, but I just took cabs everywhere. No where in Hotel.com or the hotels site did it mention that you would have to pay $29/day for parking at the hotel. Also, no where on the site did it mention that you would have to pay $10/day for a chair at the beach or for an umbrella. Also, bring your own water because they only have Fiji Water at the price of $4.00 for a small bottle and $6.00 […] for a medium sized bottle!!! Hotel was fabulous. Very clean!! Staff was courteous and helpful. Easy walk onto the beach. Adult pool area definitely a HUGE plus!!!! Highly recommend!!!

The hotel facilities are fantastic and this is a very beautiful hotel. However, the service I received was sub-par from what I am use to from similar hotels. My wife and I travel several times a year and to me the places that make me feel special from the time I arrive to the time I leave are the places I revisit. Most places my wife and I choose to stay, the staff is much more proactive to make sure that our needs are met. On a more positive note, the restaurant staff were very nice and the breakfast buffet was great! In the end, customer service is everything to me and my wife. Consequently we will not be staying here again. To others I would say this hotel is a great location with very nice rooms and facilities, but the staff seems to have a much more do it yourself attitude. Took 70 minutes to check in a the carpet had been treated with shampoo and needed to be dried. Thus waited in the lounge with luggage in tow. Eventually given "a better room" but ocean view did not include balcony (as picture suggests). Valet decided to peel out with car when retrieving it on Sunday morning. It's well known that valets do this but […] it sucks when it's your own car and not a rental. Limited amenities but good access to the beach. Much better hotels a stone's throw away. I had stayed here before and had a pleasant experience but the hotel front desk staff service still needs improvement and was dissapointed at the steril non chalant attitude of the employees. Even though the reservation had been made for weeks, it took them 40 minutes to find us a room - and there was not apology. The hotel decor is all white and beige […] and the wear is starting to show with dirt - especially in the room sofabeds and ottomans. The sandwiches out by the pool and beach are good and reasonably priced and available as room service. However, the one hotel restaurant is pricey and without a lot of choices, portions are small and taste wise not worth staying in for. If its a rainy day - there is hardly a thing to do indoors since they don't have paid movie chanels available and there is no rec room. They should really find the space to set up some recreation for children and teen agers and offer a barside buffet or indoor wine and cocktail hour reception especially in all the wasted space on the seventh floor pool. You will never speak with a housekeeping staff member or a consierge - the phone rings off the wall and they do not return phone calls. The hotel is relatively quiet and modern but for a little more you can stay at a truly four star resort a few doors down where there are boutiques, restaurants, convinience shop for essentials and where the staff shows they care about the customer. Grand Beach hotel has great location right on Miami Beach! Our room was quiet and clean. Only suggestion I'd give hotel is to have more chairs by the pool. Most were taken by 10am.
