We stayed just one night while in Orlando for a Mardi Gras concert at Universal. The room was great- no issues. The check in was easy: about 5min. The room: clean, large (king with sitting area). We called down to the front desk to order a taxi to depart in 10min= the taxi was there on time-. I hesitated getting into the taxi as it did not have a meter- […] however the cost was $10 from hotel to Universal at 5:30pm- lots of traffic. If this bothers you, be sure to ask for a city taxi. We took a city taxi back which cost us $8.00 at 2am- no traffic. We decided to sleep in therefore, did not eat the breakfast - the room was quiet, though I did hear the housekeeping knocking on neighboring doors at 9:30. Check out was a breeze as the room as prepaid through hotels.com. We would definitely stay here again. Read more

Hotel room was great. I had an allergic reaction to the detergent they use on the sheets, so if you have sensitive skin you might want to pack your own sheets. When they offer a "shuttle" to parks, it's only offered at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m., which was a complete let down. Also, if they offer to call you a cab to take you to any of the parks, make SURE […] you check with the cab driver that his credit card machine works. We were DUPED into using the ATM that charges an outrageous fee in the lobby (which they own) to pay the cab driver. Then we found out the cab driver charged us 10$+ the tip we left, when we had an HONEST cab driver that metered us back for 5.50$. RIP OFF. Read more

Overall, a good hotel. It is not quite the normal Holdiay Inn Express quality. It was clean and everyone was very kind, but you can just tell it sees a lot of guests being located on I-Drive as the overall condition was a little worn (lobby, rooms, halls, elevators, etc). I was on a business trip and the internet in the room did not work. I asked to […] be moved and they upgraded my room and the internet worked great. Rooms were very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, and there was plenty of food to go around. Great location. Near many restaurants and activities. Car service to Universal and the airport was great. Suite could have been a little bigger. Wish it had 2 tv's as many do.

Hotel was very clean, staff were very proficient and quick to tend to our needs. Only problem I see with this hotel is that they need more computers in the guest office. There are only 2 computers and one had a couple booking a family of 6 on a cruise and the other had people watching a christmas slideshow for over 30 minutes. Big waste of my time when […] all I needed to do is print off a boarding pass. Breakfast was awesome, but I'm a sleeper and I missed the breakfast for a few days. It ended at 9:30 but their breakfast isn't your regular cereal and toast. They had pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, oj, you name it it's there. The hotel itself was Nice and Clean. The location is awful. there is a highway that runs behind it. You can literally hear and count every car that passes by on the highway during the night. The road noise is awful. Very poor insulation and sound proofing. We asked for another room was told none available except handicapped. We decided to check out. […] Noise was that unbearable. We decided to check out early and move hotels. At that point we were offered another room that was not handicapped. We declined at that point it was too late. Good location for a good price. Room was clean. Looked as if they had made wall repairs recently and had a faint wet paint odor and the paint work didn't match original shade of the wall. The carpets in the halls had bleach stains. Included breakfast was mediocre as are most included breakfasts.

The Stay, in general, was satisfactory; however, we were not happy with the breakfast service. There wasn't enough seating, which was very uncomfortable. At one point, we just brought our food up to our room to eat - which we were not happy about. Also, the waffle/pancake maker was out-of-order the entire 4 days we were there for breakfast much to the […] dismay of our grandson. When we stay at the Hampton Inn in Orlando, they have two (2) waffle makers, in case one was out of order. Other than the breakfast fiasco, we were happy with the service. Nice place, the attention of one of the reception employees (Nisha) was asewome!!! the rest is OK, The breakfast is OK too, nothing out of the world but it has what you need and for different tastes. The location is very close to Universal and Seaworld, less than 10 min. To Disney is 20 - 25 min.

We wanted an affordable hotel with interior corridors, near but not too near the airport. Check-in and out was fast and easy. There was plenty of parking available. The hotel was easy to find. The lobby was very clean and aesthetically pleasing. Our room was upgraded to a suite at no charge! The room was BEAUTIFUL, clean and very pleasant.
