"hotel booking information is misleading"
the websites says it is 4.5km away from pattaya city center, but actually it is 40-50km away. it took us one hour taxi from hotel to pattaya city.

"Very good for family"
When we arrived and showed the reservation record in the reception, the staff cannot find my booking. After 10 mins, they still cannot check out my booking record in the system. Finally, the staff upgraded us to the villa resort which has a private pool and three bedrooms. The resort is spacious and clean. The location is bit far away from the centre of Pattaya. Renting a car should be a smart choice. The resort is very close to a beach. And there are served with massage, grilled seafoods and fruits. In additions, the experience of my stay is quite satisfied.

"Good for big family outing!"
12/07/15 Ahe J
This is the second time I stayed at Palm Groves, both I've stayed in 3 Bed Rooms Pool Villa. This place is a bit further down from Pattaya Tai (South Pattaya) but it's great place for a big family getaway but you need your own vehicle to going around. The villa is typically resident villa. The good thing is that it comes with all the kitchen amenity, perfect for big family who want to cook themselves. The pool is just like 1.5 X 2 meters, not for swimming but just good enough to soak yourself in the pool while having a glass of wine! You will find that villa condition is quire run down (compare to my first visit) but still acceptable. The hotel staff and maintenance guys was very friendly. I dont mind coming back for my family not-so-far getaway.

"Cheap but rooms and services are below average"
10/26/14 Nanthiya L Bangkok, Thailand
The hotel was very quiet. Car Park was very small. Receptions were not friendly and didn't have service minds. We booked Executive 3-Bedroom Suite with Spa Bath. There were 2 floors, kitchen and living room on the 1st floor with Flat TV. Phone was out of service. Kitchen was very dirty. One Big Bedroom with bathtub and two small bathroom sharing the other bathroom. The bathroom was very old. There was a spa bath on the balcony but full of stains. The little pool in front of the room on the first floor was not clean and tiles in the pool were very sharp. The atmosphere in the rooms were spooky. I didn't like the wardrobe with big mirrors at the end of the bed. We asked to look at the Three-Bedroom Villa with Private Pool but the price was double. Everything almost the same only the bigger space and private pool which smaller than Executive 3-Bedroom Suite with Spa Bath pool. So we decided not to upgrade to villa. It's not worth. Breakfast was good, 1 set of breakfast and unlimited bread, milk, and juice.

"Palm Grove Resort"

Outstanding private accomodations. The villa we stayed in was amazing. Spacious open floorplan downstairs and the 3 bedrooms were luxurious, spacious and immaculate. The swimming pool offers a great early morning/ late evening relaxation spot after a full day exploring Pattaya and the surrounding area. Scooter rentals are cheap and the best way to get around. If you want to stay close to your villa the restaurant at the resort has excellent food. If you want to venture out there are hundreds of eateries of all styles close by. Have been twice now. Once with friends and the second time on my honeymoon. Highly recommended!

This was so good we had to go back! Everything is so clean and modern you get a pleasant surprise on arrival as it's located off a main road but you would never know it, a few minutes walk from the villa and you are on the Beach which is unspoilt..... Food is also very good, we don't normally do breakfast but this was too good to miss the lovely fresh fruit and eggs and bacon were so tasty.... We ventured out to the bar areas which weren't too far away and what a fab night ! very buzzy and great atmosphere too ... Overall definitely worth a stay and the staff were wonderful couldn't do enough for you....

"Best of both worlds..."
11/26/13 Andrew F Surfers Paradise, Australia
This resort really offeres the best of both worlds, and thats why i have stayed there several times. Great Villas with own Pool to chill in during the day or a short walk to a quite Beach and far enough away from Down Town Pattaya for it to be quite at night. it is also close enough to the action of Jomtien, maybe 5-10 min and the never ending nightlife of Walking street (maybe 15min away) and no one will check who comes to visit since they are freestanding Villas for total privacy.

"Perfect relaxation"

This is the third time i have stayed here and will certainly not be the last ! If you want somewhere quiet to relax but near enough to the action if you want to party then here is the place. I have stayed in both the houses/villas and the smaller apartments and both are of equal quality, and cleanliness. I Wouldn't hesitate to recommend either. The pool and bar/restaurant are also both very nice. Also if you don't want to venture to far from the resort then there is a beautiful restaurant just around the corner overlooking the sea ,i cant remember the name but i am sure reception will point you in the right direction.

"Great Resort for both couples and family."

My wife and I are returning visitors at Palm Grove. We just love this place. It a 15 min drive from Pattaya and its so nice to be able to enjoy the great city of Pattaya and then drive to this oasis and find peace and relaxsation. It's a 3 min to the beach and you'll find the most romantic restaurants in the area in some of the small villages around Palm Grove. The staff is very friendly and always smiling, and the service is excelent. Even during high season the place never seems crowded. Go!!!

"Nice if you like QUIET and Out of the Main-Stream"

If you are looking for a quiet holiday in Thailand without flying to an island then this is a pretty good option.  Just don’t do what we did and confuse Jomtien with Na Jomtien.  This hotel is in Na Jomtien and we were not looking for a holiday quite this quiet! Na Jomtien is about 15 minutes drive (from Jomtien) or 20 minutes out of Pattaya city, which doesn’t sound like far as anything is 10 or 20 minutes drive away when at home in Australia.  Earlier in the holiday while staying in Jomtien everybody kept asking ‘why we were going out so far away!?’  We soon found out what they meant; it really began to feel far out if you were not chasing a quiet excluded feeling.  There does not seem like much to do in Na Jomtien but go to the beach and relax.  If you have found this review at all helpful, please click the helpful vote button? I spend a lot of time writing reviews for nothing more than to help please show me if I have helped?

"Top holiday retreat"
11/16/12 David H Mandurah, Australia
Palm Grove is located about 10 minute's drive from Jomtien Beach and is a quiet getaway from the hustle & bustle. Great apartments, good food and great service. Bar lacks atmosphere but is in keeping with the serenity of the place. Two pools, nice grassy areas with pagodas for lounging by the pools. Private beach just a minute or two's walk. Good traditional massage, manicure etc.

"Rip Off"

This hotel has done a wonderful marketing campaign. But when it comes to delivering the goods it falls down. For instance it does not say that some of the services offered are subject to what season of the year it is. IE In October there is no service on the so called private beach. There is nothing there apart from sand and sea. Room service is also not available there.during October. THIS IS NOT A FOUR STAR HOTEL. 2-3 AT BEST. Due to my error I needed to stay an extra night. I was told by the very unhelpful manager that he would charge me £200 extra for this. In spite of spending in excess of £2,000 here and our room suffering from leaky plumbing. The setting of the hotel is quiet and peaceful, But you really need to hire a car to get about in. NN
