    Das neue Hotel liegt zentral in Papenburg. Es ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Leider macht die Zimmerausstattung einen eher nüchternen Eindruck. Die Dusche sah zwar chic aus, die Glastüren schlossen unten nicht ganz dicht. Leider war auch hier das Frühstück nicht im Zimmerpreis enthalten.     Das Hotel liegt sehr schön im Zentrum des Papenburger Untenendes. Direktzwischen dem Hafen und dem Stadtkanal. Da diese Gegend stark bebaut wurde, hatten wir leider das Pech morgens mit dem Gehämmer der Bauarbeiter eines entstehenden Nachbargebäudfes geweckt zu werden. Echt nervig.     Das Hotel war sehr gut und mit der Sauberkeit und Komfort waren wir auch sehr zufrieden. Was nun allerdings überhaupt nicht gestimmt hat, war das Frühstücksbuffet. Die ersten Tage waren wir noch ziemlich alleine in dem Hotel, aber ab dem dritten Tag war das Hotel mehr oder weniger ausgebucht. Wenn wir dann um 8.30h zum Frühstück kamen, waren die angebotenen […] Artikel wie Wurst und Käse nur noch sehr begrenzt vorhanden. Man war dann aber auch nicht bemüht, das zu ändern. Küchenpersonal, was eventuell das Buffet wieder auffüllen könnten - Fehlanzeige. Am dritten Tag war die Butter, die immer an einer bestimmten Stelle stand, nicht da. Ich habe der Dame gemeldet, dass die Butter fehlt. Ich kümmere mich. Nach einer halber Stunde kam aus der Küche jemand und hatte es geschafft ein halbes Pfund Butter aufzuschneiden. Aber da waren wir schon anderweitig satt. Wurst und Käse wurde selten aufgefüllt. Meistens leere Platten. Es waren auch noch andere Sachen vorhanden, aber Wurst und Käse oder Obst nicht und man dachte wohl auch nicht im Traum daran, es zu ändern. Wenn ich bedenke, dass für das Buffet 15 Euro bezahlt werden mußte, ist es eine Frechheit. Joghurt oder Actimel, wenn sich die ersten Gäste bedient hatten, war man wohl der Ansicht, dann haben die anderen eben Pech gehabt. Es lief auch keiner der Herren im feinen Zwirn umher, wo man gedacht hat, das ist eventuell der Chef, hier kann sich beschweren.     Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. Zur Innenstadt sind es nur wenige Gehminuten. Service ist gut und freundlich. Helle und große Zimmer. Im Sommer kann man auch direkt am Wasser auf der Terasse Essen. Essen war gut. Hotel ist zu empfehlen.
