AUBERGE DE LA POSTE - Vaudois Alps (area)

I stayed here in Feb 2013 -- so, this is the real-meal-deal. I am a die-hard skier/traveler who travels 200,000 miles per year and stays at many 5 stars in many cities. Here's what I love about Le Poste in Tzoumaz: these people care!!!! Thiebaud is a gem; the dining room manager makes a huge difference. The food is very good, costs 50% of what similar Verbier meals cost without the "faux posh" attitude. Just like going home for dinner. Let's see: I slept well, drank well, ate well and felt welcome. All I ever ask for. Stay here....stay awhile...I will go back. Verbier rocks...and I live in Boulder, CO., just skied Silverton yesterday and will ski Vail within the week, however, this trip haunts me. It was wonderful, Luis

Great hotel. Staff very friendly. Beautiful view from room.

The Hotel De Ville was very clean and new, having undergone a very recent renovation. We stayed in a family room with 4 exceptionally comfortable beds. While furnishings were sparse, the rooms were quaint, comfortable, and clean - I repeat myself here because cleanliness is always my number one concern and priority. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We made a last minute booking for New Year, as we have friends nearby in Chateau D'oex and couldn't get a reservation there. As it turns out I was more than happy in the Hotel De Ville, making the 3 mile (5k) trip to Chateau D'oex each day. While there, we skied in Saanenmoser (sp), which was about a 25 minute drive.I would definitely recommend this hotel, and would stay again without hesitation.

Great hotel, Great view, Great staff, Great services, clean and space room, is a great amenities and location.

Great location, friendly staff, nice room -- couldn't have asked for more. We had car problems and staff did their best to assist us with making calls to our rental company. The bathroom was a bit small, but not a big problem.
