Very friendly pub\ hotel - very small. Wi-Fi available in the bar but not in the rooms. No cellular signal at all so could make no calls. Expensive evening menu. Excellent breakfast. Walls very thin so prepare to listen to next rooms conversation.In all would stay again.

I stayed here on a freezing cold March night. Unfortunately, my stay was fraught with issues from no phone signal, no wifi, lack of preparation for my arrival (room was freezing cold !) and a room which hadn't finished being decorated yet. Toiletries are awful. Breakfast ok and pub is lovely though - but I paid for a room not a pub visit. A snowy January evening and I arrived before my booking but was made most welcome. Outside annex rooms are very nice, warm and comfortable. Nothing too much trouble. Unfortunately no signal whatsoever (Vodafone) in Inn or annex, but free wi-fi in the Inn. Food very nice.

The fact that I couldn't get a mobile phone signal proved to be a blessing; if you need to escape from the world (as in computers, mobile phones, copious tv channels) this is ideal. It's also perfect for some 1:1 time with your partner. A cosy pub, delicious food, modern room, in the country... the list goes on.

I would have liked a twin room but had to make do with a double.I wanted Henley and this was advertised as Henley but is 4/5 miles out.The Inn is very nice, was very busy so had to park car on road. The room was very comfortable and well furnished.Couldnt get a restuarant booking. Breakfast was very nice.

I chose the Cherry Tree for a one night stay in advance of an early business meeting in Reading. It's a gastro pub that's just undergone a refurb and I was staying in one of four or five rooms that are located in an out building adjoining the pub. My room was small but furnished to a high standard with a very comfortable bed. The real winner here is […] the food and service. Hotellet har tre fina rum. Rent och snyggt och oerhört charmigt med tjocka bjälkar i taket. Frukosten intas på puben som också serverar god mat på kvällarna. Maten håller en betydligt högre standard än vanlig pubmat i England. Hotellet ligger i en liten by på bekvämt avstånd från såväl Oxford som Henley-on-Thames.
