We needed to stop somewhere close to I-75 on our way back home after a very quick visit with family (along with our dog). The hotel and room were spotless, room was very comfortable and roomy, staff was very pleasant and welcoming. Will definately make this our hotel stop in furture trips. Just wish the pet fee was a little less.

Enjoyed our stay very much. However, reception at check-in was distracted and not helpful. For example: no list of local restaurants types and directions no maps of the area, no literature about local places to visit, did not offer written instructions going to our destination in the area.

Hotel is three years old...wouldn't know it's not 3 months. Always like a new, fresh hotel and this one delivered. Good rate, easy access off the freeway, parking was close-in. In hotel breakfast...but not free. Highly recommend.

This was the nicest Holiday Inn I've ever been in and I really appreciated the fact that the room had no perfume odors from cleaning sprays. I had requested a room without sprays and they accommodated my request. There were no odors whatsoever and the room was very clean. We had not stayed at a Holiday Inn for sometime and we were pleasantly surprized. It was very new and updated. Clean and the front desk was friendly. The only reason that I gave the hotel an overall 4 is that they should have some kind of FREE continental breakfast. There is a nice breakfast but the charge is like $9....and they have a very small sign […] letting you know that there is a charge for it. 3 people that were in our party went down separately and had the breakfast thinking that it was included and then was given a bill. Our team was in KY playing in a baseball tournament, so we were hoping for a free breakfast cuz its always a nice place to hang....our mistake for agreeing to that place I guess. Very small pool, other than that it was very clean and walking distance to some restaurants and a Walmart. Also, they had a laundry, which came in handy for the team

I booked two rooms for an overnight stay for a conference that we were attending at Rupp arena. There were six of us and all of us agreed that the rooms were extremely nice and clean. When I checked into the hotel, the room was not the same as the one I had requested online. That didn't bother me much, but I was bothered by the noise level. I could hear every word on the TV in the next room, and they did not have the volume up very loud. The next morning, when I went to take my shower, I only had cold water. I realized that the nozzle […] was stuck in such a position that only cold water would come out. When I complained (on the one working telephone in my room--the second was broken), the hotel sent maintenence to fix it, which he was not able to do. He called the front desk and asked if I could use a shower in another room. I overheard the woman at the front desk tell him that yes, I could, but she added, "make sure she doesn't touch anything else in the room." By the time my things were moved and I was able to shower in the spare room (on another floor), I was running late to my meeting. I complained at the front desk, and they indicated they'd give me a discount, but told me I'd have to call Expedia to get the discount. They also denied making the "don't let her touch anything remark," and told me they'd deny it if I told Expedia about it. When Expedia called the hotel to ask for the discount, they told Expedia that I could not have a discount as my experience was satisfactory. Obviously, I disagree. I travel through the Lexington area quite a bit, but luckily, there are several other hotels nearby. I recommend you skip this one. Read more
