We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for a week and were glad to find a hotel right in the heart of Times Square. The service was definitely top notch! The front desk was courteous and the concierge was very helpful, recommending great shows and restaurants. Our room was nice. It could've been a little larger. But the bathroom was a good size and the size of the TV's and the fact that they played HD was a bonus. Also, the bed was quite comfortable. The cleaning staff did a fine job of keeping up the room. I'll definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Finding a "GOOD THING" these days can get harder and harder. For this reason when you come across a 'good thing" it is priceless. One of the most recent "good things " that I have come across is the PARAMOUNT hotel in Times Square. The first thing that I leave the hotel impressed by is the professionalism and commitment that is demonstrated by the staff. Starting with the front desk where I was checked in by Catherine and continuing until the driver which I received at the hotel hands me my luggage at the airport. Catherine followed the details of my visit until the moment I checked out. The only dislike that I had which eventually i got over was the view of the alley where the boiler or some loud machine was placed. I know that from now on I will request a room that faces anywhere but there. If you are going to New York and plan on taking in Broadway there could not be a more perfect location. I love this hotel so much I find myself wanting to travel to NYC more. I cannot wait until my next visit to the PARAMOUNT which I hope will be in the next few weeks.

Very nice hotel, within walking distance to subway for access to Manhattan (take the 7 or E and you can get to grand central, times square, penn station). Just a few blocks to local restaraunts. The room was very clean, excellent staff, free shuttle to subway. Overall an excellent place to stay if your touring new york city. One note, if you are considering a "view room" save your money, the view is obstructed by a number of taller buildings (the hotel is only 7 floors). Overall an excellent experience and I would definitely stay again, especially at the rate because of the new hotel discount. If you plan to take a cab from the hotel call one yourself because the service the hotel uses charges a flat rate to specific areas and you can get a cab on your own for cheaper generally.

Very nice hotel in the theatre district. Friendly and helpful staff. Basic room accomodations but very clean. Would recommend.
You can reach 2 other major destinations--the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island--without even going to NY. A light-rail station right outside the Westin provides access to New Jersey's Liberty State Park. Once you've arrived (about a 20-minute ride), walk 15 minutes to the ferry terminal for a trip to Lady Liberty or Ellis Island, with fantastic views along the way. The park is also home to the popular Liberty Science Center. Love to shop or just need to pick up a few essentials? The Newport Centre Mall adjoins the hotel.

"Easy access to NY City"
we stayed at the hotel to have a day in NYC, the PATH train station is one block from the hotel and drops you off on 33th street. Times Square is 42nd. Very clean & good location looking out over the Hudson into NYC

Hotel was conveniently located to local restaurants, shopping and mass transit to Manhattan. price was reasonable, room was comfortable and well appointed. Parking was more expensive than an adjacent hotel we had stayed in on a previous trip and we had to pay for wi-fi. We would probably stay there again, though, all things considered

"Quality close to NYC"
Great location and quality at a fraction of the price of staying in Manhattan. I stayed with 4 girls for a Bachelorette weekend and we couldn't have been happier. The closeness to the PATH, friendliness of staff, comfort of the room and great pool all made our trip fantastic. Will definitely stay here again.
"great area where everything was accessible"
My family and i had a wonderful stay. We came up to do some weekend sightseeing in new york. we found the hotel easily accessible to both train and subway. my children LOVED both the pool and jaquzzi. Room service was excellent with all of our requests and all requests were responded to quickly. I would definitely come back again!!!!

I grew up in Jersey City and travel there frequently to visit family and spend time in New York City. However, this was my first stay at the Westin and I hope it won't be my last. Our 22nd floor room was attractive and we appreciated being close to the PATH train and the Hudson County Light Rail. The staff were friendly and helpful. Two significant […] downsides: There is no free wifi in the guest rooms and we found the Sunday brunch buffet to be skimpy and not worth the price. I would like to give a special shout-out to Anna in the hotel security office. At about 11:00 pm, hours after I checked out, I realized that I had left my toiletry kit in the room. It would have been no big deal had I not had a pair of favorite earrings in the bag. Anna retrieved my items that night and had them packaged up and sent via UPS the very next morning. 3 things I like the most for this hotel are: 1. Great location: Path station & Starbuck are only one block away, trust that would be the most concern for all the travellers. it takes only 15 minutes to get to penn station in NY, and the trains run very often. 2. "Beautiful Hotel and easy ride to the City"
***RECOMMENDED***This Hotel made it convinient to get to Manhattan with no problems. The Path trains were across the street and it was a 7-15 miute ride to get into Manhattan, not to mention more than 1/2 the price of the hotels in Manhattan. I usually stay in Manhattan but found the Westin prices to be substantially less, and the rooms larger and more comfortable. Loved the bed/blankets/linens - it was like sleeping on a cloud. The bathroom was very large, as was the room itself. Nice big flat-screen TV with many channels to choose from. PATH station is a block away, restaurants and shopping […] are not far. "Great hotel in a great location"
We stayed here to visit NYC for our first time so we didn't know what to expect. The area this hotel is in is super nice, clean, and quiet. We spent many late nights in the city and we didn't feel at all uncomfortable walking from the PATH station to the hotel at 2am.

"Great Location"
The hotel is located a block away from the PATH trains and the NJ Light Rail - very convenient to access NYC and Liberty State Park (Statue of Liberty) and Hoboken. Also, the indoor pool was a nice touch.

"very convenient location"
So, we wanted to go to the city for the weekend and the Westin NJ had an excellent rate, which was much cheaper than Manhattan hotels. We were also able to park our car for $22 per 24 hour period (so 44 for the whole weekend cuz it was about 48 hours). It was a really short drive from the city (we drove in from Boston and crossed via the Holland Tunnel […] and it was very close to the exit) and there is no toll going into NJ (although its about $12 going back which stinks). Anyways, the hotel was very clean, very nice, spacious rooms, excellent service, good location within 2 mins of the PATH train. So we left our car there and took the PATH into manhattan (about 25 mins from hotel to 33rd street/penn station) and stayed there both days. Overall, EXCELLENT hotel. Read more

This hotel is located adjacent to the Newport Mall and steps away from the PATH and lightrail. Very clean and modern, excellent service from staff, close to restaurants and shops, The Westin is the perfect stay for a weekend in NYC or nearby Hoboken, NJ. Highly recommended!

We stayed two nights, and were very impressed. The staff was friendly and helpful. They made several great suggestions. The lobby, room, and restaurant were beautiful. The location was great - right near a PATH station and super shopping. NOT TO MENTION how close and easy it is to get to NYC.

It was a great valintines day getaway. The veiw is great clean and comfortable room. Clean bathroom a way to hook up a DVD player. There was only one thing I did not like. I booked the room 3 months before when it was a "limited time offer" through hotels.com. Because it's was a limited time offer it is not refundable. That's no problem. I called […] 1 month later to upgrade the room. Not cancel. UPGRADE. The Westin inn Said that I would have to pay a penalty, the penalty cost more than the room I originally book. Considering I wanted to upgrade and still do business with the Westin inn the least they could have done is deduct the penalty let me upgrade. That should have not been a problem at all. "Clean, close to PATH, close to mall and nice area"
Downtown Jersey Citynis one of my favorite places. We stay here when visiting NYC. The train (PATH) is 1 block away, very convenient. The hotel is very modern and clean.

First time taking the PATH into the city and it was great the location of the hotel is so close to it!! A mall is right next to the hotel and this was perfect because we needed to pick up some stuff we had forgotten to bring.We will be visiting this hotel again soon!!!

This was our first stay here and it was fabulous. The staff were extremely accommodating and courteous. The room was clean, modern and spacious. I wish we were staying longer. But I definitely will return. It is located in a nice neighborhood with easy access to the PATH for travel to New York City (Manhattan).
