The owners were very accommodating and the showers were hot. The gardens were pretty. The toilet in our room took 7-8 flushes to work. The staff did not have great knowledge of what tourist sights were available. The neighborhood was a bit shady and the choices for dinning around the town were limited.

The hotel is located in an urban setting with no pubs or sit down restaurants nearby. There was an array of fast food available and an excellent convenience store only a few steps away. The staff is friendly, but tend to smother the guests. Any time we stepped out of our door somebody would pop out of the office to keep an eye on us. Room was small. It was basically a bedroom in a 3 bed house . The control for the heating did not work so it was boiling during the night.Breakfast is from 7 - 8:30 am. It was too early as we got up at 9

Cheap B&B. Don't expect the comfort of a 5-star hotel but that's a good place. Located in a rather poor area of Slough, the house is run by very nice people. The man welcame me and made me visit the place (paying particular attention to all the fire exits and safety). A 1 night stay between jobs, chosen by location and price and it turned out to be a winner! Clean comfortable room, fabulous power shower, interesting lounge/mini kitchen that enabled you to say hello to other guests if you felt like it, lovely cooked breakfast and friendly efficient staff. Hotel is in a quiet street with free off street parking. The bathroom was small but completely adequate with an excellent shower. Staff were polite and friendly and willing to answer any queries. Very friendly and welcoming, and very clean throughout. Fixtures and fittings were all quite basic, and our room was in need of a re-decoration, especially the bathroom, which had some mold on the ceiling. Similar price to Premier Inns, but not as good.

The staff were really nice and my room was clean and well furnished. The only reason that I didn't stay longer was the location, it was quite far from the station and there weren't many places to eat in the local area.

owners were helpful and polite in every way. My room was comfortable. My only observation to help the managament was tea or coffee was served by staff holding both saucer and mug with both hands meaning their fingers were touching the rim of the mug in two places. My only other comment would be that only one knife was set on the table meaning that after […] eating a fried breakfast I had to use the tissue in the toast basket to wipe my knife so I could use it on the butter and marmalade. Cheap and basic. Breakfast was perfunctory; and just after 10am, somebody came into my room to say that checkout was 10. On the other hand, compared to other cheap hotels it's quiet, you get a good night's sleep, the wifi works, and the staff actually try to provide some form of customer service. This B&B is in a residential location so would not suit all travellers. Service is good, room okay but tired decor, minor issue with waste bin not being emptied from previous guest. Breakfast was decent. Note that parking may be on the road. Overall, okay for a couple of nights and price is also good.

and you wont be disappointed! For a cheap hotel, not too far from Heathrow area, booked last minute it is cheap, clean, and friendly. I think some people have unrealistic expectations. It is not the Ritz, but nor does it claim to be. Stayed in a single room here for a night in July, friendly welcome, tight parking, nice clean room, excellent hot shower […] (bathroom was a wet-room, I've read reviews saying that the toilet is in the shower - It is supposed to be). Breakfast 7 to 8.30 (I didnt have time to try it). Good wi-fi connection, kitchenette downstairs to make tea/coffee (with a fridge and fresh milk, which I havent seen for years in a hotel!) A few minor down-sides: Telly only had 5 terrestrial channels, curtains didnt block out all light, only just room for a couple of family-size saloon cars, and a couple of hatchbacks on the drive (otherwise park on the street, where the area is a bit dodgy, but not horrific). But with a bit of planning (eye-patches, Nytol) that I use for all hotels (from cheap to expensive) I had a good nights sleep, and would definitely consider here again if I needed somewhere local Read more

Take a 30 minute local bus ride from Terminal 5 to a bus stop within 5 minutes of this small, family- run B & B. The manager is friendly and helpful, and the room spacious enough and spotless. A very good option for travellers in transit at Heathrow who do not want to spend a fortune for a single forgetable night or go all the way downtown.

We arrived at the B&B quite late in the day, and the owner was happy to see us. He showed us around and explained we could have tea/coffee 24 hours a day, and showed us where the garden and breakfast room was. The room was absolutely lovely, and just what we needed. When we had breakfast we could have everything on the menu if wanted, and there was […] so much choice. The hotel was in a residential road, but close to takeaways and shops, and plenty of space to park. We stayed here after spending the day at Chessington and ready for Legoland the next day, and it was only 20 minutes away from Legoloand. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Read more

Det er for dårlig service uden telefoner på værelset og internettet virkede ikke og hvis det så gjorde var forbindelsen virkelig dårlig. Ikke særlig meget pengene værd. Fint nok at der var morgenmad inkluderet, men det er kun fra kl 7-8.30 ellers får man intet.

Meget lille værelse og endnu mindre badeværelse. Sengen var meget kort, så fødderne stak ud gennem endegavlen. Guesthouse ligger tilsyneladende i et område, hvor man skal forvente indbrud i biler med udenlandske numerplader. Højre siderude blev smadret i vores bil en nat iløbet af vort ophold. Vi havde indbrud i bilen under vort ophold på Furnival Lodge. Højre siderude blev smadret og der var glas overalt. Intet særligt blev stjålet men vi brugte en hel feriedag på et værksted. Ifølge en taxi-chauffør, sker der ofte indbrud i udenlandske biler. Værelserne er meget små og badeværelset er endnu mindre, Man står næsten oveni håndvasken, når […] enten brusenichen eller toilettet skal bruges.
