For the price, you can't find much better. My wife and I stayed here one night before a cruise. At first I thought it was the worst hotel I've ever seen. But on second thought it want bad. You can tell it's old, but the upkeep was there and the cleanliness was as well. I've been to four star hotels that weren't as clean. They offered fee breakfast in the morning too. The only real issues we had was a pack of hair dryer and elevator. We just wanted a clean place to stay overnight that was next to the airport. They offered free airport shuttle, clean rooms and the beds were very nice. It is older, but clean. The continental breakfast was on par with other budget hotels.

Disappointing BEST THING WAS APPEARANCE OF THE LOBBY. Tile floors were clean but cold. TV very old,remote wouldn't work. Had to move us to another room to still old TV but remote did work. Too much price for not that nice of a place. Beds were clean so will give them that. Service to airport good.

We state here in our way back from our vacation. It was so dirty that we had to just leave and get another hotel for the night. I don't ever complain but whenthere is hair in the bed and all over the bathroom you know it wasn't cleaned an the sheets weren't changed!!! Please don't take the chance find another place!

Got in very late, the 24 hour shuttle only works if someone answers the phone, which they did not so had to take a cab. Room and bath were spartan but clean. Was only there 6 hours and the shuttle ran on time for airport.

the 2 guys that were at the front desk were not friendly at all. When we arrived at Miami Int. Airport i called the hotel to be picked up, I was told to go up to the 2nd level & their van would pick up up, we stood up there for almost an hour making numerous calls to the hotel to find out where the van was & kept getting told that it would be there […] any minute, We finally took a cab. when we arrived at the hotel the night guy behind the counter said that the driver was at the lower level, I reminded him calmly that he told me to go the 2nd level, he just turned his head & didn't reply.They have ceramic tile in the hallways & we had to listen to the sound of suit cases be pulled through the hall ways all hours of the night. I chose this hotel because I wanted something close to the airport. For this purpose it is excellent and the free shuttle bus is a great money saver. The hotel is a bit in the middle of nowhere if you have some down time, but there are a few fast food restaurants within walking distance which is convenient.

My experience with this hotel starts with a long wait at the airport for the shuttle service. I was told it runs every hour. When you get to the hotel you find out there is no elevator. Given that most of the people who stay there are just coming from or going to the airport that really no help at all. It then follows with a dirty bathroom. They tell […] you that there are several food options around but they aren't close at all, and given that during the time that I was checking in two unsavoury characters walked in to the lobby (one pretending the get cash out the ATM and the other to ask if there was any more rooms left but he didn't ask the guy at the desk he asked another guest checking in). The room had to have been cleaned by a blind person. There was so much hair in the shower that it grossed me out and I had to run the hot water for a significant amount of time just to make sure that I could feel that I could use it. My hand wipes came in handy for my one night. The guy at the front desk at check out time seemed like he rather be anywhere but there. I was horrified while he left his post to go just outside the front door to have a cigarette while the phone rang repeatedly. Even when he was coming back in his steps never quickened at the sound of the ringing phone. Given its a 2 star hotel I didn't expect luxury. But I did expect a clean room and helpful staff. As my wife described it "that was scary". It is an OLD building with no renovation. They attempted to re-tile the bathrooms for an update, but really cut corners on the work, it looked like crap. The cheap metal doors are thin as air and provide no sound deadening whatsoever. We stayed just one night, twice (before and after a cruise out of Miami). […] Both rooms had visibly stained sheets. Upon leaving after our first stay, there was a patron at the front desk asking if his room would be safe tomorrow night, the manager quickly tried to quiet him as he could tell I was listening... I have no idea what that was about. The best way to describe this place was simply old. The only positive was that we arrived early and he let us check in early. Marginal neighborhood but pleasant. I liket the internal garden so was able to keep my window unshaded. For me this was an unexpected treat not to have that closed-in feeling one has in hotels. Room was small but adequate and clean but a bit shabby. Old building with some nice antiquated architecture. I liked this as well.

The hotel is close to airport. The only downside is the shuttle service which runs about every hour. The shuttle shares with another hotel. Never had we had such a dreadful experience in a hotel before. Dirty room. Ancient T.V. with limited channels. Door to the closet and the bathroom really dirty. Musty closet smell. Rooms are really small. Bathrooms are small. No counter space on the sink. The owner doesn't really care about the upkeep of the hotel. It was an EXPERIENCE for sure ! ! If I had booked for more than the one night I would have gone somewhere else.On a positive note it was close to the airport and had a shuttle to the airport and port which worked great for me.

The hotel offers a free shuttle from the airport, but it took nearly an hour to come when the hotel less than a 10-minute drive away. Perhaps it was a busy night. But I kept calling and they kept telling me it would be there any minute. It was a bit frustrating.

Run don't walk away from this hotel. The pictures on site are not what the hotel looks like. The desk attendant was very unfriendly when we arrived actually rude. Do not book this hotel because you think they will pick you up at the cruise ship because the Miami port does not let any motels pick up customers. You have to take a cab. It cost us $27.90 […] plus tip to get to the hotel. When you get there it smells terrible. You will want to turn around right away but after paying for a cab to get there and not having any other hotels in area that looks any better you will stay. The room looks better than the lobby but all the floors are ceramic so when people leave in the night the noise is terrible. The noise is so bad you can hear people talk or cough all night. We did not want to use the shower as we felt cleaner not using it. The floor was so dirty your feet got black if you walked on it without shoes. Breakfast was like a typical Continental breakfast, donuts, beagles, cereal, oatmeal, juice, coffer that was the high light of the motel. Read more
