This was great place to stay, no screaming sring breakers. This is an adult oriented all inclusive hotel. The food was excenllent, you have to try the rotisserie chicken on the beach!

Wow! What an amazing time we had staying at the Royal Solaris!! We spent our 19th anniversary at this all inclusive resort for 4 days and never even had the slightest urge to go into town or leave the hotel. Friendly staff checked us in. They were knowledgeable, efficient, and there was no waiting. The Time Share lady who offered us a "quick tour" of the hotel but did not get pushy or upset when we told we just wanted to get to our room and then hit the beach. She asked that we come see her, but we never did and we never got bothered with Time Share talk the rest of the time. The multiple pools looked like lots of fun, but hey...we have a pool at home so we spent every waking minute at the beautiful beaches. The "vendors" walking up and down the beach were not pushy at all and after each one made their 1st pass/effort, they didn't bother us the rest of the day. Benjamin and Kike (pronounced kee-kay), were our beach waiters over the weekend and both of them were absolutely tremendous!! We could not have asked for a better experience. The room was clean, it had a comfortable bed, and plenty of water pressure for our showers. Oh...and pay the little extra to get the beach view room...spectacular views of the sunrise and gorgeous blue waters!!

I loved the hotel and the service is wonderful, however I was really disappointed in the beach. We had to travel to another Palace resort to swim in the ocean and take pictures. But that is my only complaint.

O hotel é perfeito para quem quer ficar tranquilo, curtir uma lua de mel ou simplesmente relaxar no silêncio de suas dependências. A comida é boa e o atendimento também. O único "azar" foi que o nosso banheiro estava com vazamento...causando assim um certo desconforto.

"Great hotel - it's worth a visit"
The location is great as the hotel is located at the beach. The view from the hotel was also excellent. The morning buffet is great and has great variety of dishes. The service at hotel was ok. The only negative part is that they did gave us the wrong room but they changed it immediately when we complained. We will definitely recommend it.

EL hotel es excelente, muy lindas habitaciones decoración moderna y comoda, la zona de piscinas es super linda muy tranquila, se siente una paz total, el lobby no es tan bonito no le hace honor a lo que que es en realidad el hotel, el comedor e el buffet del desayuno muy completo. This was a perfect hotel for us. We stayed in a Deluxe-suite with ocean view, and it was very nice and big! More like an appartment actually. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. We have stayed in several hotels in Mexico, and this is by far the best we have stayed in! Only negative thing about this hotel is that the reception area don`t […] live up to the rest of the hotel. It doesn`t seem very clean and gives a bad first impression compared to how nice the rest of the hotel is! Breakfast was very good, and also we had lunch in the beach restaurant/bar almost every day of our stay, and it was great. The hotel is located in Playa Norte, and it`s said to be the nicest beach on the island and we think it is! We really recommend Isla Mujeres for your next holiday, and Privilege Aluxes is the right hotel to choose! Read more

"Backpacking"
Vi började vår backpackingsemester med ett par lata dagar här, perfekt sätt att komma ner i varv och koppla av. Prisvärt nu i mellansäsongen.
"Good relaxing place to be"
My wife and I from Norway spent 8 days at Privilege Aluxes in march 2011. We had 8 wonderful days. The first impresion when arriving at the hotel in the evening was a little dissapointing. The reseption seemed poor in the dark and our expectations fell a bit. Once we woke up in the morning and saw the pool area and the beach the first impression started […] from the arrival started to fade. We had selected an uppgrade with seaview and all inclusive. We still think it was a good option since the nearby breakfast and lunch fasilities seemed not so easy to find end get to. We used ordinary transport to and from the airport which was very simple. We rented golfcarts and spendt several afternoons driving around the island visiting all the small corners. The people are very friendly. The personal at the hotel was very pleasent. Everything we asked was arranged in no time. The food in the beach restaurant was not so tasty. The food in the Thai restaurant was very good. We preferred the relaxing atmosphere of the buffet for breakfast and dinner. We used the beach restaurant for drinks and snacks for lunch. Aluxes is a place to relax and make long walks on the beach. Probably not a place to select if you are looking for nightlife and late evenings. We took one day off and went to do some shopping in Cancun. We had a taxi to join us for the great part of a day for 150 USD. Both him and we were happy. Even though is a long travel from Norway we are talking about returning. It was a very pleasent experience and we wish the people at the hotel all the best. Read more

Nos fue muy placentera nuestra estadía en este hotel, es cierto que la temporada era baja, y todo el personal del hotel estaba muy dispuestos a atendernos, quizas en forma excesiva, ya que siempre estaban presentes para tomar ordenes. Es importante mencionar que se toman más tiempo de lo necesario en realizarlas, pero uno se acostumbra. Debemos mencionar […] en forma especial, que ante nuestra solicitud de que la habitación que nos habían asignados no correspondía a nuestras aspiraciones, fueron muy rápidos y corteses en resolver el problema entregandonos una habitación muy superior. Tanto la playa reservada para el hotel, como las piscinas son muy buenas y limpias, en lo personal, yo retiraría los asientos en el interior de la piscina principal, ya que el ambiente de personas consumiendo bebidas no es el más grato por sus comentarios en altavoz. Especial mención también para los promotores de viajes turísticos, Cecilia Z. y David, quienes nos ofrecieron viajes interesantes, y cabe mencionar que el viaje a conocer y nadar con los tiburones ballenas, es imperdible, nadie debe dejar de hacerlo. Los desayunos en sistema buffet son muy buenos, con muy buenos alimentos y muy limpio y aseado. En general , un éxito la selección de este hotel en Isla Mujeres. We stayed our last three days in Mexico at Privilege Aluxes on Isla Mujeres and did not regret it for one second.The hotel has it all.Perfect location, close to the beach and close to the "city centre" with restaurants, bars and shopping only 2min walk both to beach and town.Nice pools for those who's not a fan of salt water and nice breakfast buffè.We […] got a really god offer and a really nice room with jacuzzi on the balcony so we had a really nice stay during the days.We would highly recomment it.
