This hotel was perfect for what we wanted and for the price. Nothing fancy about the place but the place was really clean, staf was helpful, location was fairly convenient and felt really safe. Room was really spacious but it took a little while to cool off and the beds were firm. Also the shower set up wasn't the most ideal because it had no tub or real separation between shower area and rest of bathroom but it served it's purpose. Like I said before, we felt like we got more than what we expected for the per night price we paid.

At first I was a little freaked out when we were driving from the Chania airport to the hotel. It seemed so far. I got especially concerned as we drove up --what I later dubbed-Goat mountain.But when we got there-and up the stone stairs with all the beautiful flowers and trees and into our amazing room complete with fireplace and a great balcony overlooking the valley-I knew I had made the right decision. Yes the hotel is out of the way, yes it does take about 20 minutes to get up the mountain, yes you are about 40 minutes from Chania's town center but the time goes by fast (once you know where you are going) and the ride is half the fun, The owner of the hotel created this little piece of paradise with nothing but utter devotion. It seems that there is nothing he hasn't though of--our room even had a washing machine and soap for goodness sake!

"Phoenix"
très bel hotel chambre très propres et bien entretenu beaucoup de vent et assez éloigné du centre ville si on a pas de voiture (5 min) mais les plages à proximités sont magnifiques
"Hotel Plakias: calme"
Un endroit à l'image de la côte sud de la Crète: calme et authentique. L'hotel n'est pas au bord de la mer, mais il l'a surplombe. Le propriétaire est très sympa. Bref, je recommande.

Rene rom og bad, og hyggelig betjening. Fin utsikt til havet. Under 10 min. til nærmeste strand, og ca 25 min gange til Plakias. Anbefales hvis du vil bo fint og rimelig, og ikke er redd for å gå litt (evt. har bil).
