Everything in Edinburgh is a beautiful walk from this hotel. Great price for quality and location. Clean and attractive. You may want to inquire about your room location, as construction in back is noisy during the day. It did not annoy us but I'm sure it did others.

The hotel is located literally steps off the royal mile, so everything that you want to see is in easy walking distance. The hotel was very updated and clean. The staff were friendly and recommended some really good restaurants. I will definitely stay there again the next time I am visiting Scotland.

We had a one bedroom apartment and it was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had an issue with the shower and they fixed it right away. The views from our room were spectacular! We would go back here for a future Edinburgh visit.

Bed linens were not changed once during a 4 night stay. The room I was given did not qualify as a suite. Just a regular size room with a tiny kitchen area.

Our last days of our trip were so memorable thanks to the ease and location in Old Town. The kitchenette was so convenient. The help organizing transportation to the airport in the middle of the night was the best.

What a beautiful hotel! Very close to the train station from London. All the amenities you would need or want, and very close to attractions. The layout of the hotel was a bit confusing, but after learning the history, you can understand why the floors were set like they were. Very nice property and highly recommended!

The only issue was the building that was being erected in the ajoining lot. The noice began very early ~7am with prep work and building in earnest by 8am. Great stay. Only complaint was the room was very warm and no A/C and couldn't open the windows, but the management did everything they could by bringing in two fans to cool down the room and my husband is always too warm, some people probably would have had no issues. Great location to sight seeing, restaurants and rail station. Staff was very helpful. We had a room on the top floor that viewed the whole city. Free laundry facilities and free Wi-Fi were an added plus. Couldn't have been better!

Fraser Suites was a great hotel to stay at. Near the Royal Mile. Walking Distance to everything. I very much enjoyed the staff. The white carpet was a little dirty but the comfort of the room was ideal and the bathroom was very clean and very nice. I would highly recommend to anyone to stay at this hotel and would stay there again on my return.

The staff of the hotel were friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and beautifully furnished. The hotel is located just yards from the Royal Mile and within a quarter mile of the Grassmarket and the Waverly train station. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel. I was very pleased with my stay.

Had a great time. Left some comments for Management, wished there was a Bible in the room, no ice machines, loved that there was a library bookshelf off the lobby to fetch a good read from, staff was simply fantastic. Would recommend to others in certainty.

We were very disappointed that we were changed to a nearby hotel about 10 days before our arrival in Edinburgh. Frazier Suites was not able to accomodate us even though I made the reservation 3 months I advance. The other hotel was OK but not as quiet or of quite the quality of Frazier Suites.

Very nice hotel with a great location right off the Royal Mile. You could literally walk to the castle in under 5 minutes. There were tons of pubs and restaurants close by and we were able to walk everywhere during our long weekend vacation. The staff was friendly and helpful with their suggestions. I have no complaints.

This is a lovely hotel and our room was clean, bright, and the beds were really comfortable. I broke my leg the first day (not in the hotel) and they were very helpful getting me to my room after the hospital. They were also very helpful and knowledgeable about services for the disabled and I was able to go to Edinburgh castle and a few other places […] because we could get info about handicapped services in this place. This is our second time at Fraser Suites Edinburgh and what difference a year makes. Our first experience was marked by poor customer service but this time around most staff members were not only professional but also very accommodating. We had a pleasant stay. Excellent location. Beautiful hotel but was a bit surprised of poor tile floor work in the bathroom. Everything else was top notch. The private laundry room came in very handy since this was just a part of a two week vacation.If we ever are able to come back to Edinburgh we would definitely stay here again.

Very nice except for the flooding shower. Refrigerator did not work. The take away breakfast was nice as we rushed to meet our tour. They held our extra luggage overnight while on our two day tour to Highlands even though we checked out of the hotel.

We enjoyed our two night stay in Edinburgh at the Fraser Suites. It is in the most perfect location to see all the sights in Edinburgh. Located a half block off the Royal Mile, it is a 10 minute walk to the castle and 5 minute walk to Lawnmarket where the sightseeing buses have stops and 1/2 block from St Giles Catherdral which is magnificent. The hotel […] was clean, had nice amenities such as coffee and tea in the room, and beautifully decorated. Our room was at the front on the second floor but we were really not bothered by street noise since the hotel is off the busy, main street. Another of our party stayed in rooms at the back with views of scaffolding as the building next door was being re-done (no problems with noise there either) Breakfast is not included, but available at lovely cafes located on both sides of the hotel. There are many dining options very close to hotel. There is a wonderful restaurant right around the corner which you should not miss: Angels with Bagpipes. We would highly recommend this hotel. We were delighted with the Fraser Suites. Our room was clean, comfortable, and stylish. It couldn't have been better located, just off the Royal Mile. The staff was very helpful. Internet is free in the lobby. We would definitely stay there on a future trip. Our one complaint had to do with the breakfast that was offered in the adjacent dining area. […] Breakfast was not included in our hotel rate, so we paid for breakfast the first morning. In a country where the hotel breakfasts are usually extraordinary, we were appalled by the offering there. For 9 pounds they had a continental breakfast that I would have been disappointed with if it were free. A full breakfast was 15 pounds. On future mornings we found our breakfast elsewhere for a lot less. Try the nearby Elephant where parts of Harry Potter were written. Read more

had specificly requested twin beds room not available on arrival had to wait while other room was prepared this at 3'30pm the so called twin beds were so narrow and so close together no ac staff rude room service deplorable the stay was a nightmare
