My husband and I stayed for a long weekend and found the service outstanding, cleanliness of the room was impeccable and location couldn't be better! We definitely recommend this hotel! Would stay again, no questions asked! :)

It was perfect for me the room and bathroom were very clean. Towels changed every day and the room cleaned. Always a good supply of coffee tea and biscuits in the room. The TV worked very well and as I was there during cold weather and snow the room and hotel were very warm. The hotel was nice - I would not recommend it for children, it is a place for more mature people. The breakfast was delicious. It was a bit old, but pleasant. There was no water pressure in the shower. The owners were very nice and accommendating.

Got off the Ferry and used the SATNAV to take us to the front door. Good parking. Easy walk to downtown Shanklin and restaurants for dinner. Breakfast was outstanding and plentiful. Next time we will stay longer.

We thought the hotel more than Pleasing, there is too big a difference between Pleasing and Superb. We had excellent breakfasts each morning with fruit, juices &cereals to choose from followed by our choice of perfectly cooked foods. The owners were friendly and helpful and served a lovely breakfast. The location was excellent being within walking distance of Old Town and the Beach. Our only complaint was the very poor water pressure in the shower. Would recommend St Georges House as a pleasant place to stay.

Room was a good size. Although there were limited off street parks the owner happily moved his car to accommodate us. Breakfast was good. Pleasant walk into the old town of Shanklin.

The whole building was far too hot!! the weather had just changed to be very warm, the duvets were too thick, which should have been changed to summer tog weight by the end of May. The dining room was stifling, I have never eaten in such a over powering heat, the windows should have been open to let in some fresh air.

Stayed there for a night. There are certain places in the room which shows the age but otherwise it is in impeccable condition. The breakfast was lovely and we were well taken for. The location is very good. Close to town and the beach.

family room was small . too much furniture. en suite was not very good . shower tray obstructed and also flush was not working properly. otherwise lovely property. decoration very good. definite overall good accomadation but those points i mentioned are positive critism of a lovely accomadation which has partly sp[oil our excellent stay.

I wanted to take my elderly parents for a weekend break so wanted to make sure that I booked somewhere satisfactory and I couldn't have made a better choice! I asked for a room on the ground floor if possible for my parents and this was done without fuss and in a very discreet manner. The hosts are extremely welcoming and friendly. They work very hard […] and run it like a mini hotel. It was clean, warm and nicely decorated. The breakfast was hot and well cooked and filled us up until supper! The photos do not do this lovely little place justice and the location is superb, walking distance to the seafront and village. The only negative is that the shower was a tad temperamental but I cannot fault the cleanliness and facilities of the room. I would not hesitate to stay there again and would certainly recommend it. Het is een prima hotel. Echte heel Engels, leuke kamer. Badkamer wel klein, maar functioneel. Ontbijt in de huiskamer, volledig ontbijt. Goed verzorgd. Het ligt op loopafstand van het centrum met leuke restaurants en van de zee. Aardig personeel.
