Stayed here because it was 3 blocks away from a concert I attended with a friend. It was cheap, clean and the room was nice. Staff was friendly at check in and check out. Couldn't ask for a better experience. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

Good staff and very clean room. No traffic noise at night and close to ASU and downtown. Not fancy but a real value if what you need is a decent place to sleep. Clean and quiet, but the beds were not at all comfortable and there were absolutely no amenities at all. There was a microwave and refrigerator in the room. The staff was not particularly welcoming. Location was very convenient to downtown Phoenix.

This was rated 4 1/2 stars on Trip Advisor. Sketchy place in sketchy neighborhood. We wanted to leave as soon as we drove in. We had booked 2 nights based on the reviews and didn't want to stay at all. They then offered us a room on the 1st floor with no security that had thugs smoking in front of the door. The hotel has a very basic outside appearance, perhaps the bars and gate to the downstairs rooms is a little off putting, but made me feel very safe. My room was very clean and nicely done. The microwave and fridge were very handy. The shower had great water pressure and the hair dryer worked wonders. The walk in closet has an ironing board and iron. […] The only thing lacking was a coffee machine... which I missed greatly! McDonalds is two blocks down the street. It was very comfortable and very close to central phoenix! For the price this was an excellent selection. Cant beat Location + Price. Rooms where clean. Not a high class hotel so don't expect this. I was more than happy at this location and will be coming back to budget for future stays in Phoenix.

Stayed here for 2 nights to go Basket ball down town, it was good to be able to walk to event. Once you got over the strong Curry smell in lobby it was okay, forget about free breakfast never any left. Small tray of mini muffins, coffee was good.

Was in town for an event at the US Airways Center and I found this hotel on Expedia. It was AAA approved and very inexpensive compared to the other hotels downtown so I decided to book it. From the outside I thought I made a mistake once I pulled up, but I went inside to check in the room and the guy at the front desk was very helpful. He gave us a […] map and told us how to get to the convention center plus he also moved his car so we could park in the parking lot since there were no other available spaces. We wanted a cheap (but clean and safe) motel in the downtown area. This had good reviews so we gave it a try and were not disappointed. Very clean and seemed quite secure. The name of the hotel says it all, budget. Great price but you get what you pay for. If i had to pay any more than i did i would of been very upset. The room we got smelled of mildew and was pretty small for four people. No coffee pot and the tv was old, havent seen that old of a tv in many years. The "breakfast" is a joke as it is just juice and coffee […] with a pastry. Now, the neighborhood surrounding the hotel is a little shady. I did not feel very comfortable. Great location for a quick walk to the Hyatt for my conference. Everything I needed without any extra junk I didn't need/want that I would have had to pay for elsewhere. Loved having the fridge (helps cut down on eating expenses) and free wifi is a HUGE selling point! Nice, helpful folks, and a place I would recommend and stay at again.

I was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and comfort of the room. It was quiet and everything worked. I felt safe. The location is just on the border of the less developed part of downtown Phoenix. However, I felt comfortable walking back to the motel at 9 pm. I would not recommend venturing west of 4th Ave at night. I had to ask for a blow dryer […] and my room did not have a balcony as stated in my reservation. This was the perfect hotel for a person on a budget. The staff exceeded my expectation in that they were very helpful and always available. The facility was impressive related to the cleanliness. The entire facility was spotless. The room was easy to use for a person with limited mobility although the site is listed as not readily accesible to a wheelchair. […] I could not say that the motel would work for everyone using a wheelchair, but it was great for my needs.
