I found the staff at the hotel to be AMAZING!!! they were super nice and kind, very helpful, polite. I have spoken with 5 different people and they were all very efficient and provided excellent service. I was extermely pleased wth my stay.The quality of the hotel was very good for the price I paid.I would definitely recommend it.

Located in Minehead (Exmoor National Park), The Bactonleigh - Guest house is close to Minehead Beach, Dunster Castle, and Dunster Working Watermill. Additional area attractions include Holnicote Estate and Cleeve Abbey.

"A comfortable stay"
We found this guesthouse to be quiet, clean and comfortable. Easy walking distance to high street shops/ restaurants and seafront. Building work was ongoing (no prior warning of this on the website) and decoration of the en-suite bathrooms was incomplete; this was however not an inconvenience. One very small constructive comment: Hotels abroad usually provide a small plastic container to put wrappings from breakfast articles (butter, jam, etc) on the table. This is quite useful for both staff and guests.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent family accommodation."
Stayed for one night with my 20 year old Granddaughter on a bitterly cold night. The room was beautifully warm and cosy. Excellent breakfast. Very pleasant owner and staff. Much appreciated help for the Granddaughter when they were able to supply nail polish remover. We would definitely stay there again. Situated in a quiet street just off the main street of Minehead. The main street leading to the Promenade. The guest House is clean & comfortable, the owners friendly. Breakfast will take you through to your evening meal at one of the many local pubs. Ideally located for exploring Exmoor, Lynton & Lynmouth without paying their prices.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
