The room was clean, but minimal and small plus there was not wifi. the food in the cafe was good and reasonably priced.

Spent three nights here and was very comfortable. Charming house with great garden. The hosts were very friendly and everything was spotless. Breakfast was in true English style in the elegant dining room. I recommend the eggs with smoked salmon.

Hotel has been updated. Breakfast buffet was great. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Good place to stay when taking a ship.

"In need of some TLC"
I Paid £35 per night so I must not grumble about that as it was a good deal.My breakfast was ok and the room was ok....it was ok but nothing more.One thing I will say though is that the dog is not the best idea to have walking around the breakfast area,it could put some people of their food!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Mixed feelings..."
Room was tiny but warm and clean, there is freeview Tv and free ethernet internet access in each room. Bathroom in anex was cold and horrible! Breakfast served by owners was very good however owners shouldn't allow their animals in dining area. Overall place is ok if you want to save couple of quid.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice comfortable retreat away from the crowds"
I was immediately impressed by the surroundings - friendly people and a place I could only dream of living in. The accommodation was spotless - it was obvious a great deal of effort went into cleaning and tidying. The friendliness and hospitality of the lady was outstanding, and she really went out of her way to help me. I had everything I needed for […] the stay -even got a choice of rooms! The location was 20 miles from where I needed to be on Sunday, but I had the car so wasn't a problem.
