First off... I want to say that this hotel is a decent place to stay. Nice area and close to I-10 and the main toll road. What really killed it for me was the staff. When I checked in I was told BY THE STAFF that my room rate included my breakfast for the next morning. My wife and I woke up and headed out to eat the next morning. We ate and then we […] were handed a $35 bill for a mediocre breakfast at best. I let them know about what I was told the night before at check in. They didn't care at all. They proceeded to tell me that they would call the police on me if I didn't pay and leave at once. I was nice and didn't raise my voice at all. They were just plain rude all around. Very nice hotel. Beautiful, comfortable room with extremely pretty decor. There was a huge desk and a bed with very soft sheets and pillows. The location was very convenient, as was the free wifi. We really enjoyed our stay.

Very nice, clean and comfortable hotel interior, typical of a Sheraton. Located near the freeway which is a plus. Very barren neighborhood unfriendly to foot traffic.

PROS: Hotel was clean, clean rooms, comfortable beds, easy to reach from Sam Houston Toll. Fitness Center had Free Weights! They had a bench, with a 45-lb bar and plates. Plus a rack full of dumb bells. I was impressed. The treadmills were so-so. Lobby did it's best to imitate a high dollar hotel. It was nice. Free internet - you have to log-in after […] 24 hours. But no big deal. The staff was more than helpful and friendly every time I had to deal with them. CONS: TV was terrible. We were there on business so we had 6 rooms total. ALL but one of the TV's did not work well. The remotes just wouldn't change the channel. Two people from the group went to the front to complain and just received different remotes with the same problem. I gave up on my remote and tried changing everything from the buttons on the TV and still had problems. The guys from the group said they weren't coming back just because of this problem. And we told management. In my opinion, this hotel should have offered a free breakfast. It is basically any Holiday Inn with a fancy lobby. The breakfast should have been included, but it would cost an extra $15 per person each morning. Luckily, there was a McDonald's next door. There is a new Comfort Inn (I think that's the name) close by with a free breakfast. I'll stay there next time. Walls are PAPER thin. You can hear everything. Stand-up showers only. That's not a big deal to me, but some people like their baths. GENERAL INFO: There are NO decent restaurant's really close. However, a 10 minute drive to I-10 east has a slew of options. Stay on the Sam Houston Toll Road to avoid the fee. Actually, going anywhere fun requires getting to I-10. But it's not far. From there you can get to Katy Mills Mall in 20 minutes. Or go towards downtown and there's a lot to do there too. SUMMARY: The minor problems add together to make this hotel one I would not recommend. Excellent service, definitively worth paying a bit extra. Strongly recommend this hotel to any traveler. Location not so great, however since I had a car rental I was able to get everywhere within minutes. Very happy with my choice.

Hotel was ok. some ammenities missing: no mini-fridge/mini-bar. The gym is a nice looking facade, but missing some key equipment (chin-up bar, dip bars, incline bench and rack). Bar staff was wonderfully friendly right to the end of the night for the lonely business traveller.
