My new bride and I had a pleasant stay here. The condo we had was awesome and the tub is huge. When we come back to the Smokies, we will be staying here. The rooms are costly but hey we are on vacation. great place to stay.

A few of my friends and I met up here for a girls' weekend. We had a great time here at Laurel Point. The condo was clean with plenty of room for us. The room was clean and had all the amenities you could want. The condo had plenty of extra blankets and plenty of towels and pool towels for all of us. We would definitely stay here again!

This hotel is in the perfect spot for those who want to be able to walk out their door and into the heart of Gatlinburg. The only knock is there is no wifi in the tower section of the property.

"Thin Walls"
The "only" downfall I experienced was that the walls seemed a little thin. It might have been some really hard of hearing people next door who had their tv way too loud but either way it was kind of loud. We just turned our volume up and it canceled out fine. Everything else was to be as to be expected. I would stay again if I wanted to visit the casino […] across the street. Ps. Our stay at The Holiday Inn Express was very nice. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was very good. Even though there wasn't a microwave and refrig. in our room, we managed. The two front desk workers were dressed in street clothes jean and a blouse, looked unprofessional. The one lady had her cigarettes on the counter ad well. Did not feel welcome. They put me in the wrong room. When I checked out the next day, there was a fella at the guest side of the front desk. As i approached the desk I thought he was a guest waiting […] to check in. "Florida to cherokee NC trip"
This hotel was totally empty in december, but i don't know why. it's very nice, clean and much nicer then a few other hotels nearby, one warning for this area. winter time alot of restaurants and attractions close for the season. or close early, the cherokee bear zoo is a must though. Our stay at this hotel was for convenient access to the casino, which it provided. I typically remember staff, but I don't for this hotel meaning they didn't go out of their way nor was their service poor. It was forgettable, as opposed to our stay at the Holiday Inn, Tunnel Rd, Asheville. We received nothing but smiles, and concern about our comfort. "Cherokee in the Fall"
Good place to stay in Cherokee. Google maps placed this in the incorrect location--this hotel is on the south side of Paint Town Rd near Harrah's Casino in Cherokee. It is a fairly new hotel as it doesn't show up on any satellite images in Oct 2011. Google maps street view shows it in the correct spot. If you don't want the continental breakfast, there […] is Pancake House right next door--a local IHOP/Waffle house knock-off. For a decent lunch or dinner, there is Prime Sirloin buffet on the corner of Casino Trail and Paint Tow Rd or you could cross the street to Harrah's. I highlight these two restaurants because they are within easy walking distance (<5 mins). If you need to visit a grocery store, <1 mile south on Casino Trail there is a Food Lion along with other restaurants. I was in a non-smoking room and the room had a lingering smoke smell like someone smoked in it sometime before I visited. Other than that, it was a pretty decent stay. A very nice, very comfortable, reasonably priced hotel that we will no doubt visit again. Note, however, that "across the street" from Harrah's is a tiny bit misleading. You will have to walk about 100 yards on the gravel berm to get to the cross walk that leads to the bridge that leads to the casino. We don't see too much reviews about hotels beds. My husband and I have back problems the day after we slept on other hotel beds. No back or should pain. In fact, we actually slept real good. I was totally surprise. I didn't wake up once. Love the breakfast and the coffee? Wonderful... and I'm a serious coffee drinker ;) I think we found our hotel. My husband and I enjoyed our stay! The hotel was very clean, the breakfast was good, and the only way the location would have been any better is if we were staying in the Casino, which was full. I do wish that Cherokee would clean up the rest of the town, and add some good resturants! We ate down the road (within walking distance) at a steak house. […] It was aweful!
