All I can say is I will NEVER stay at a Candlewood Suites or a Comfort Inn ever again. BAD BAD BAD in EVERY way. I had a fligh that was cancelled so I was in need of a place to saty for the night. All the other hotels in the area were booked. This was the only option I had. Gross. Never again.

Have stayed several times in this hotel and am always impressed with the hotel staff being so helpful and friendly. Rooms are always clean, location is great for staying for business as well as for leisure. Good shopping and eating options are close by. I travel frequently and find by comparison that this hotel has everything that I need plus!!

Clean, spacious room, lots of cable channels, quiet. Spoke with 3 staff members and all were very helpful and friendly. Courtesy shuttle van picked me up at airport quickly.

The staff was so friendly! There's a courtesy shuttle that takes you to and from the airport and also to zona rosa and back. Zona rosa has great shopping and dining. Wonderful, clean, comfortable room for an extremely good price.

Hotel staff were very helpful, friendly, and allowed me to checkout late, which I appreciated. I enjoyed using the fitness center. The one down side is that there is no onsite restaurant, and I was told the closest restaurant was 2 miles away. I came for my family reunion that was held at a nearby hotel which was sold out so I tried the Candlewood. The room was decent but I did miss the fact that there was no onsite breakfast or pool. I did think that each front desk clerk was friendly and helpful.

I was traveling with my large dog and this hotel was a great fit for us. It was very clean, updated, and the staff was very helpful. The layout of the room worked great for us and our pet. I saw a lot of cheaper places, but was afraid of what I'd get for the $, plus my daughter wanted a gym. Hotel was very conveniently located to the airport, was clean, quiet, and rooms were nice, beds were comfortable; meant for longer stays, with stovetop, fridge, etc; but we were only there for a night. My complaint is that we had a pet so I paid the $10 a day pet fee up front (3 days). Well, when I checked out on my last day, the girl at the front desk asked for my credit card again. We were flying out of Kansas City Airport and needed an inexpensive place to stay the night before. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. We appreciated the convienience store in the hotel lobby to purchase a quick snack before bed. Parking was sparse and we had to park at the hotel next door and walk across the parking lot.

Only there for one night, room was clean and comfortable..... No one at check in when I arrived, waited for about 5 minutes for employee to return. This hotel exceeded my expectations. I made my reservation through Hotels.com for a quick business trip where I actually stayed at two seperate hotels. One in Topeka, KS and this one locate close to Kansas City Airport. I have traveled constantly throughout the past five years and this hotel rates as one of my top hotels. The room is spacious and has […] all of the accomodations to make either a long or short stay comfortable. Tastefully decorated and very clean. There was a recliner in the room which is nice so you don't have to sit HBO. The bed was very comfortable. The towels were nice and thick and were absent of stains or thin spots and were nice sized. If I were to make any improvements it would be to improve the hot water. You definitely wouldn't have to worry about steaming up the mirror in the bathroom. Actually I had to stand in the water constantly to keep warm. Other than that my stay was extremely comfortable. I had everything I needed, coffeemaker, microwave, cooktop, full size refrigerator etc. I have stayed at several extended stay hotels throughout the United States and at most of them you do not have everything you need. At Candlewood they even supply you with basics as far as dishes, eating utensils, cooking utensils and even coffee, creamer, sugar & etc. Makes me wonder why I never stayed at a Candlewood before. The other hotel that I stayed at was not even an extended stay hotel and I paid more to stay there than I did at Candlewood! As an extremely finicky business woman I say Kudos to Candlewood!
