Hotel shows age but overall comfortable. Beds an rooms were neat restful. The staff were always helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend the hotel.

Nice place, clean, staff are great. The location of the place is not ideal, it's hard to find. The hotel is located along with the residential neighborhood. It takes 45 minutes by taxi to the airport. Taxi ride is about 250 pesos to the airport. Breakast menu is so simple. The nearest eatery or restaurant is about 15 minutes walk. Don't ask let them do a laundry for you, they will lost your item.

I recently stayed at the Bella Vista Hotel from March 26th to April 6th, 2012. The van from the hotel picked me up at the airport after a very short wait. From the moment I got there, the staff of the hotel was very helpful in every way. The staff was friendly, greeting us every morning when we went down for breakfast. The complimentary breakfast was very good every day, and I was especially happy that on Fridays they served fish for breakfast as i stayed there during lent. We went swimming on the roof, and the pool and the area surrounding the pool was very clean. We had some clothes that needed to be washed, and the housekeeping staff did a wonderful job with the time they needed and prompt delivery to our room exactly when they said it would be done. If i had any complaint, it would be that some of the towels and sheets and some dark stains on them. This didn't bother me, but it might bother some other people. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other people, and when I return to Cebu at the end of the year, I will stay there again!!

The 11.4-hectare (28-acre) Plantation Bay Resort has 4 outdoor freshwater pools, a 2.3-hectare (5.7-acre) saltwater lagoon, private beach, and full-service spa. Guests can dine at the seafood restaurant, tapas bar, 24-hour coffee shop, and enjoy nightly theme dinners.
Complimentary airport transfers and wireless Internet access are available. The family-friendly resort also offers a children's center, game room, fitness center, and shopping area. The property has designated areas for smoking.

The resort offers 3 freshwater pools and 2.3 hectares (5.7 acres) of saltwater lagoons along with waterslides, mist caves, spa tubs, fountains, and waterfalls. At Aqua Sports, guests have access to island adventure tours, sunset cruises, scuba diving, snorkeling, parasailing, and kayaking.
Plantation Bay Resort and Spa facilities include an outdoor tennis courts, a climbing wall, miniature golf, beach volleyball, and children's center and playground. The gym includes cardio and weight training equipment and the game room has 2 billiards tables, tabletop games, and video game consoles. Archery equipment and a pitch and putt are on site. "Plantation Bay Resort & Spa"
Went during spring break and the kids LOVED the pools & lagoons! Many options of where to swim, and the pool & lagoons are open 24 hours, you just need to be respectful of the fact that all rooms face the water, although we never had anything to complain about. They could use more chairs around the main pool & diving rock as you had to claim early and […] hold all day, not ideal. Top facilities and accommodations, although we were on the opposite side from the roosters, so double check that if you are a light sleeper. Not to far to Cebu City for shopping/movies/"regular mall" although getting a cab (about 250P) was not always guaranteed and you might be stuck with a resort car charging three times the price for only one way. If you want an all inclusive, this is not the place. If you are looking for options and want control over how much you spend after you get there, then this is. You can sign for everything to be charged to your room. After 6 full days our family of 4 had only $800 to the resort, including most meal and kayak rentals, all but 4 meals at the resort. Overall a very great place to go, let the kids play in the water & either join them, relax with a book, or head to the spa. I would definitely recommend it to others. We order 2 chocalate milk for kids at their main restaruant(only one 24 hours restaurant).It can't count chocalate milk, it is a very strong suger chocalate with water - disgusting. None of my kids can drink it,even me. But kids like their supegattes. This place has many good views and swiming pools. Kids like to play slices(so quick but suddenly stop […] at the end) at the pool. I feel its really cool not danger for over 3 years old kids. We had BBQ dinner at their onion beach($890 per person in philipine dollars). All you can eat dinner with very good singer(he sing American country musics). They have very good beef and puff, but not coming too late. Otherwise you have no chance to eat, they won't serve it more.If you come earlier before 7PM, it count valuable.Later I change to crimson resort, the room is more moden than plantation resort, but not much fun for kids.So I recommend to stay at Plantation resort if you bring kids.They have more interesting things can do at Aqu-sport center. The way from airport to Plantation resort, all you see is poor houses.You might feel unsafe if you leave resort. But we move to crimson resort and take free shuttle to SM mall, I see different view.SM is very huge and moden mall. I think mall is in city, so around the mall is moden. It was definitely one of the best vacation hotel in the Philippines. People were very nice and helpful. The lagoon view rooms were great, spacious and luxurious. Unfortunately, most things surprised us in the negative way. Everything had an extra surcharge and most services were very overpriced, even though tipping is forbidden throughout the hotel. We waited 1.5 hours just for check-in. Around the reception area is not air conditioned and we needed to wait in a very uncomfortable place. we have asked a situation several times but staff only says that it would take a few minutes or some staff even says that don't know how long it takes for check in...We didn't request early check-in or any special […] requests. It was in a regular check-in time and it took 1.5 hours in the end. During the stay, beach towel was frequently out of stock and we needed to wait for getting it...Dining was ok but price was expensive. There is no place for dining in walking distance from the hotel. Wow! plantation bay is my dream resort in cebu.... and at last with my husband.. and my husband really appreaciated the place... our room.. the ambiance of the resort.. the night... the beach.. the water.. everything in plantation even the staff.. very approachable...
"Good for families"
The hotel was great for us traveling w two boys ages 9 & 7, they were very happy with all the activities. Boat & bike rental, climbing wall, diving rock & wafer slides. The beach was a disappointment but having the sea water lagoon was a plus. Would suggest the suites over the regular room.
"A nice get away"
A nice get away for a short holiday. Staff were kind, friendly and courteous. A very 'child safe & friendly' environment. Not much to see around the resort, so bring reading material. Only minor complaint was to do with the Savannah Grill - orderd a dish I thought was a main dish (based on description/price and in comparison to the other eateries at […] the resort) but what I got was a small appetizer portion. Plantation Bay is beautiful resort with great service.We had a pool view room which was upgraded to a Lagoon view room ...the room was beautifully furnished with a four poster bed and amazing view of the lagoon area.The lagoons are man made ,regularly cleaned and filled with sea water and there are a choice of freshwater pools to swim in.The food at […] all the restaurants is amazing(do order a la carte as buffets are ok) especially the Italian and tapas restaurant Palermo ...best pasta i have ever tasted.The outdoor dining area near the Fiji restaurant is also very romantic... right on the beach ... with candlelight and the gentle sound of waves...lovely seafood. 春节带领全家老小一行10人到菲律宾度假，最大的感受是服务特好，价格不贵，而且酒店不斤斤计较，消费前会跟你说清楚，而且价格确实不贵，有的地方能替游客考虑周全。我们国内的服务行业需要向人家多学学。

ルームサービスでモーニングアメリカンブレックファーストをお願いしました。 価格的に文句言えないですが、コーヒーカップにラップされていました。コーヒーカップとは別に別の器に入れてくればいいのに・・と想ったのと、オレンジジュースが、ついてたけど缶ジュース？トロピカルな雰囲気にしたりたいのでせめてグラスグラスとボトルに分けて持ってきてくれればなー・・と残念でしたか・・？！ チップは頑として受け取らない姿は大したもんです。 総合的にはまた行きたいですね・・。

우선 사전에 연락을 하면 공항 픽업에서 드랍이 해결되구요..정말 편안한 휴양지입니다. 어느 리조트처럼 제주도 온것 마냥 한국 사람 많은 것도 아니고, 세계 각국 대표들이 골고루 있습니다^^ 한국인 스텝도 데스크에서 한번 본적이 있어요.영어가 서툴러도 전혀 어려움이 없을 것 같구요..특히 라군 사이드는 환상입니다.그냥 온 풀장이 내 앞마당 개인풀장같구요..숙박인원을 적게 받는 관계로 모든 곳이 휴양하기에 최적입니다..한 이틀정도는 오로지 리조트안에서만 놀아도 될정도로 놀거리가 많구요..비가와도 내 발코니에서 바로 풀로 걸어들어가니 더이상 환상적일 수가 없습니다. 식사도 스시같은게 없을 뿐이지 그정도면 세계각국 사람들을 다 […] 배려한 듯 다양하고 맛있습니다. 매일 아침 종류가 달라지는 킬리만자로 뷔페 음식 또한 훌륭합니다.시내에서 떨어져있다고들 하는데 택시타고 마젤란 크로스나 아얄라몰까지 돈 만원도 안나옵니다. 오히려 공기나쁜 시내와 떨어져있어 좋았습니다. 꼭 !! 다시 가고픈 리조트입니다. "세부의 낙원 플랜테이션베이!"
일단 리조트가 너무 멋있고 넓고 깨끗하고 편합니다. 스탭분들의 친절함에 머무르는 내내 즐겁고 행복했습니다. 특히 리조트 내의 모감보 스파도 훌륭했고, 4개의 레스토랑, 편의점(?) 도 있어 시내와 멀리 떨어져 있었어도 전혀 불편함이 없었습니다. 꼭 다시한번 더 가기로 마음먹었습니다. 그땐 조금더 길게 머무르며 낙원을 마음껏 즐겨보고 싶네요^^

지난주 세부 4박5일로 플랜테이션베이에서 머물었습니다. 작년에 크림슨리조트를 안갔더라면..제 후기가 좀 나을지 모르겠습니다만..두군데를 다녀온 저로서는 모든면이 비교가 되네요.. 1.직원들 서비스 일단 5성급이 맞는지 싶을정도로 서비스마인드가 없구요...일부 친절한 직원이 있을뿐..대부분 얼굴에 웃음이 없습니다. 무뚝뚝하고..Thank you/ Im sorry가 입에 베어있던 크림슨 리조트직원들과는 비교가 되더군요.. 2. 위치 세부의 대부분 리조트가 그런거같긴 합니다만 플랜테이션 역시 매우 외진곳에 있습니다..개인적으로는 그나마 마리나몰(공항근처)에서는 가까웠던 크림슨이 더 위치가 좋은것같습니다. 플랜은 모든 몰에서 거리가 […] 다 머네요.. 3. 교통 최악이라 말할수있습니다. 계약된 택시회사가 1개랍니다..콜택시부르면 기본 20분 기다립니다.. 로비는 택시를 기다리는 사람으로 꽉찹니다.. 둘째날 또 20분정도 기다리다가 다시한번 불러달라고 재촉하니..거기 직원 그럽디다.. 자기잘못아니고 여기 시스템이 이런걸 어떻하냐고..지금 이용가능한 택시가 없으니 호텔택시 이용하세요..라고..(한국인 직원이었습니다..정말 싸가지없이 말해서 대판싸웠습니다..). 호텔텍시는 600-800페소입니다(시내 쇼핑몰까지). 일반택시는 200-300페소 나옵니다..호텔택시 탈수있습니다..그치만..5성급 리조트에서..30분을 기다린 손님에게..저런식으로 말을 할수 있는건지..참 기분이 착찹했습니다.. 4. 룸컨디션 이부분은..워낙 오래된 리조트라 기대하고 가지 않았음에도 불구하고..정말 기대이하였습니다.. 그냥 20년된 리조트 수준으로 생각하시면 됩니다.. 5. 풀 이거 하나 기대하고갔습니다..정말 풀은 많고 규모도 크고..리조트 자체는 이쁘더군요..그치만..대부분이 해수풀인데..해수풀에는 나뭇잎등 부유물들이 둥둥 떠있고..아무도...해수풀에서 물놀이 하지 않습니다.. 어차피 킬리만자로카페앞에있는 민물풀에서만 놉니다..대부분의 사람들이.. 그렇다면 과연...풀이 큰것이 무슨 의미가 있을까요.. 6. 음식. 작년에 크림슨을 방문하고..또 후기를 보면 가장 크림슨의 취약점이 레스토랑입니다. 하나의 레스토랑만 운영하고있다는거..플랜은 총 4-5개의 레스토랑이 있습니다.. 크림슨의 레스토랑은..입맛에는 맛습니다..전 그랬습니다..종류가 많은건 아니지만..대체로 맛있게 먹었던 기억이 납니다..플랜...5개중 3군데 방문 결과.. 정말 너무너무 맛이 없어서..토할뻔했습니다.... 갯수가 많으면 뭐합니까... 이 후기는 정말 지극히 개인적인 의견이므로 참고하시기 부탁드립니다. 저는..다시는 플랜 재방문하지 않을겁니다. 작년에 크림슨이 너무 좋았어서 크림슨하려다..워낙 플랜 명성이 자자해서 마지막에 예약 바꾸어 방문했는데... 크림슨이 100배 1000배 더 좋습니다...새로지어 깨끗하고 친절합니다. 조용하고 이쁩니다.. 풀이 작은게 흠이지만..어차피 워터파크 수준을 원하시는게 아니면 물에서 노는거 다 똑같습니다..식당이 한개인게 흠이지만...맛있습니다.. 식당 여러개이고 죄다 맛없는 플랜보다 낫던데요... 이상이네요.. "너무 비싼 음식과 해양스포츠..."
전반적인 시설 및 서비스는 그런대로 괜찮다고 할 만하나, 몇가지 불만스러운 부분이 있음. 1. 음식은 그냥 평균 수준임에도 불구하고 값은 엄청나게 비싼데(필리핀 평균의 2배 수준), 리조트가 동떨어져 있어서 선택의 여지가 없이 사먹을 수 밖에 없음(자체 소개책자에는 세계 최고의 스테이크라고 하는데 무슨...) 2. 샹그릴라 같은 고급 숙박시설은 절대 아님에도 불구하고 스파나 해양스포츠 등의 가격이 너무 비쌈 3. 객실 에어컨이 영 시원치 않음 4. 세부시티로 나가려면 택시를 리조트 안으로 불러야 하는데 리조트에서 미터요금으로만 받으라고 강요해서 택시들이 잘 들어오려고 하지 않음 (세부시티까지 가려면 미터 + 150페소 […] 정도 더 주어야 하는 현실을 리조트에서도 인정하고 감안해야 할 듯) Read more
"가족을 위한 리조트"
아이들과 5일 내내 리조트에서 쉬었어요 아이들이 너무 좋아하고 리조트 시설을 이용하기도 바빠요 특히 민물 풀장이 너무 좋아 계속 킬리만 자로풀장에서 놀았어요 객실도 물놀이 할때 버틀러가 와서 조용히 청소하고 가네요 다 좋는데 사바나 레스토랑은 절대 가지 마세요 너무 비싸요 그리고 먹을것을 쇼핑해서 리조트 들어가면 더 좋을것 같아요.저녁 부페는 별로데 아침 부페는 환상적이야요
"플랜테이션 리조트"
공항에 늦게 도착했음에도 친절하게 픽업을 해 주셔서 너무 고마웠고 no tip 정책도 맘에 들어 부담없이 서비스를 이용할 수 있었다. 이용객들이 즐기기에는 깨끗한 환경과 편안함이 휴양의 느낌을 한 껏 즐길 수 있게 해 주었다. 다만 아침 부페는 먹었는데 가격은 보통 저녁 부페이상이면서 구성은 빵, 고기조금 등등 맘에 들지 않았다.

"생각보다 만족스러웠습니다."
아주 큰 리조트라 리조트만 보는 것만 해도 상당히 재미있습니다. 룸 상태도 한국인이 워낙 많이 오는 리조트라 그런지, 한국인에 잘 맞추어져 있습니다. 가장 큰 풀을 가지고 있다고 하는데, 실제 해수의 경우는 좀 더러워서 들어 가는 사람이 많지 않고, 실제 놀 수 있는 풀은 많지 않습니다.
