Single room, feb 2012. Yaesu Fujiya is one of the cheaper hotels in this very central area near Tokyo station. In general i'd consider going back there again, but i'd prefer to try elsewhere in the area first. It wasn't horrible as such, but it wasn't great either. 3/5. I did the 5 min station->hotel walk with my case without issue. The hotel itself is ok, with an attached 7 eleven - try the bready baps filled with custard and chocolate sauce for breakfast:) The rooms bathroom was fine (though a bit battleshippy) and you were provided with lots of bathroom consumables, There was 1 english language news channel on tv. Cons:- I didn't get a good feeling about the room. Something felt wrong, maybe the size of the single room? The rooms Air con didn't cool, it only heats but no openable windows. My room was slightly warmer than i wanted in winter. I don't know what it would be like in summer. Hard mattress The wall around the window was very dirty. Minor cons: The kettle hotplate contraption took ages to boil. The staff indicated there was no wifi in the hotel, only wired ethernet internet access. Confusingly the next day i noticed there was a sign mentioning wifi in the breakfast area. Though i couldn't log in and gave up at that point. I'll take a portable mini wifi travel router next time. The location is perfect, closed to everything. We can walk to Tokyo Station, Ginza area and other shopping places near JR Yurakuch station in few minutes. Rooms is a bit out of date but clean.

I stayed at the Yaesu Fujiya recently to attend an international workshop. Service of staff was excellent, they were extremely helpful. Hotel room is comfortable and the free internet was great. TV programme was rather disappointing as it does not cater to an international audience. I would recommend the hotel for short stay as price is reasonable

The room, though very packed and small, was clean and comfortable. The number one plus is its location. It's close to the Tokyo Station and a quick walk to the shopping area of Ginza. This is a typical Japanese hotel, rooms aren't the biggest. But clean, tidy, good price and good staff. Great location short walk to Tokyo central station, or Ginza in the other direction. Some Japanese chain pubs near by, and a 7/11 in the foyer, plus UCC Coffee House. Convention centre is less than a block away. The Yaesu Fujiya is a great hotel for location, as everything is in easy reach. In particular it is only a five minute walk to / from the train station, making it very easy to get to and from Narita using the Narita Express. Have stayed in this hotel before and will do so again when next in Tokyo.

The hotel is located very conveniently close to Tokyo Station (closer to a ten minute walk with luggage than the advertised five minutes). The hotel check-in staff were very helpful in organising a room before the official check-in time of 2pm as my son was not feeling well and we needed access to a room for him to rest. The room was too smal for a […] triple which is what we requested as all they did was to put a roll-away bed in a standard twin bedroom. As a result, we had no space to put three medium to small pieces of luggage properly. Also, the room was unhealthily hot due to the combination of being small, an inflexible air conditoning system, and windows that cannot open. The hotel staff were very helpfully and organised for a portable fan which we had on every night when we slept. Uncomfortable hot hotel rooms appear to be a general issue during our travels in Japan during winter but the other accomodation places we stayed at (Hiroshima & Kyoto) we were able to open the hotel windows and/or adjust the air condioning system appropriately. Yaesu Fujia Hotel is located walking distance from Tokyo Train Station, which is of course the central hub for most locations (whether around Tokyo, a Shinkansen to Osaka, or the Narita Express staright back to the airport). I stayed for a single night layover before flying home due to the convenient location, onlhy a few minutes walk from the station. […] The room itself was as advertised- minimal but sufficient. Compared to other real estates in the Ginza / Tokyo area, the price was affordable for a single night. The location makes it a great stopping spot if you are going to do a 24-48 hour whirlwind tour of Tokyo- a few stops away on the train from Akihabara (on the green Yamanote line) and Asakusa, and about half an hour from Shibuja, Harajuku and Shinjuku, also on the Yamanote line. The posh boutiques of Ginza are a 4 minute walk away (in the opposite direction to Tokyo), with OIOI, a massive department store, offering many designer brands with designer price tags (which can be fun just to browse at). Plenty of food places a few minutes away as well (including McDonalds if you have a fussy eater or child in your party). I would recommend this hotel based on its cleanliness, firendly service, and convenient location. Read more

Excellent friendly service, very clean, English speaking. Great location for travelling around Tokyo as 5 mins walk from Tokyo station. Only small downside, rather cramped and perhaps in need of a little updating on accommodation floors.

Great place, great service. Room was smaller than the average hotel room in N.America, but enough space to store 6 luggage bags, and comfortable for two. Location was good, less than 5mins walk to main subway lines in Tokyo. Also surround by places to eat, shop, and walk.

Værelserne er små, men det er japanske boliger også. Og der er alt, inklusive et supergodt wifi net. I hvert fald på 5 sal. På 16. Sal var udsigten bedre end nettet. Husk at bestille ikke-ryger værelse! Baren er velforsynet. Spis morgenmad ude som normalt i Tokyo!

야에스 남쪽 출구에서 5분 정도 걸어가면 길 건너편에 호텔이 위치하고 있습니다. 역에서 가까워서 좋았고, 1층 편의점도 바로 연결이 되어 편했네요. 호텔에서 바라보는 도쿄역의 모습이 활기찼고, 직원들도 친절했습니다. 만족합니다. 추천 할만해요.

驚いたことに貸出用のアイロンがないとフロントで言われました。シャツのシワを伸ばしたいビジネス客に、どうしろと言うのでしょうか？ ホテルのバーでウイスキーのロックを飲みましたが、氷が家庭用冷蔵庫で作るような氷で、せっかくのロックがあっという間に水割りになってしまいました。いろんなところに客不在の経費削減を感じ、がっかりでした。

대체로 청결상태 좋구요.가족보다는 친구,연인등 이용하기 좋습니다. 도쿄역이 가까이 있어 원하는 목적지로 가기 편하구(신주큐,아카하바라,시부야,에비스등) 주요관광,쇼핑코스가 JR야마노테센 (도쿄중심가를 원으로 도는 라인) 있어 길 잃을 걱정 없이 가기 편합니다.10분거리에 긴자가 있어 밤문화도 즐기기 좋아요.ㅋㅋ 가까이에(도보10분)일본왕(황궁)이 사는 곳도 있구 치안 상태도 정말 좋습니다.

立地や部屋の清潔度は満足でしたが、チェックインカウンターの担当係員により対応サービスに大きく差があり、とても感じの悪いスタッフがいた事にたいへん残念な気持ちになりました。お若い方々は親切丁寧な印象でしたが年配のベテラン世代の方ほどとても横柄で驚きました。どんなに他の面が満足でも、それだけでホテルの価値が下がってしまい、残念です。
