Mercure Versailles Parly 2 - Le Chesnay

Room was comfortable and overall very clean.Q good deal for the money. TV did not work however the staff was very nice, accommodating and FRIENDLY offering us a free breakfast. Hotel location was very convenient, safe and quiet. Close to Paris and to Versailles. We drove and the hotel's free parking was convenient. I will stay here again! Cecilia

We stayed off Paris center and hoped to get a bettter and larger room. But it's very disappointing. The hotel is old and tired. Some bathroom fixtures are broken, not to mention the small room. Location is noisy and not easy tog et too. Breakfast is not great either. Considering this is French hotel, at least food should be much bettter.

We Stayed at this hotel to visit Versailles. It was easy to get to, less than ten minute taxi drive from the Versailles rive gauche train station. Stayed at the hotel on a short break visiting Versailles, on arrival and throughout the stay the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful always having the time and patience to answer questions and give assistance. The room was clean, tidy and in excellent condition although one of the plug sockets didn't work so could either have light that side of […] the room or use the kettle, not a major issue. If I had to find a fault with the hotel it would be they are very sparing with the drinks in the rooms only one tea bag and two pots of milk, every day had to ask for more but again a relatively minor issue. Found it quite surprising that although room service was available there was no restaurant on site, although there is a great restaurant just across the road in the Parly2 where you get 20% discount if you are staying at the hotel. Great location if you have a car, don't know about public transport. All in all would greatly recommend this hotel. Read more

The bathroom was old and in need of repair. The water was brown. The room was dirty and dusty. When we complained the reception staff was more concerned with if we had moved things he couldn't help. He sent a member of staff to our room with us and on inspecting it we were told to pack up our things and meet him at reception to collect a new room key. […] We had quite a lot of luggage, We were then moved to the room next door. I think they were just being difficult. Breakfast was ok but we didn't manage to get the hot drinks we ordered, no milk even when requested and hot chocolate was cold. We went to Versailles to visit the Castle. I thought that the hotel was much closer than it was to the palace. So it was a bit of a shock to discover how far away it was. Once we found a local bus that went there it was much easier to get to.

Goede ontvangst, spreken uitstekend Engels aan de balie. Goed en uitgebreid ontbijt. Vlakbij Versailles (binnendoor met kaart is het 3 km lopen) of met de bus 10 minuten en stopt voor ingang Versailles. Met de bus, trein en metro in 25 min onder het Louvre etc. Perfect.

J'ai été déçue, j'avais demandé une chambre à 2 lits et j'ai eu un grand lit double (ok) et un canapé déplié ! La douche aurait eu besoin d'une remise à neuf et en plus la douche ne fonctionnait pas correctement. D'autant plus déçue qu'à l'arrivée j'ai eu droit à : nous vous avons surclassée... Qu'aurait-ce été sans cela.

Nice hotel as you would expect for a Mercure, located across the road from Parly 2 a massive shopping complex. Unfortunately there is no restaurant in the hotel nor any facility for making any hot drink other than coffee which comes from an espresso machine. We asked for an electric jug or kettle but were told that it was not possible. The hotel provides […] only paper cups and plastic glasses which in a superior room is a bit cheap. The mini bar is free in the superior rooms but is limited to water or one can of coca cola. l'hotel est a 10 arrets de bus du chateau de Versailles..avec une poussette c'est ce qu'il fallait. Le petit déjeuner compris dans l offre qu l'on a trouvé est vraiement super. L'accueil de l'hotel est bien. We hebben in dit hotel overnacht na twee weken in zuid-Frankrijk gezeten te hebben. Een overnachting op doorreis. Wat een fijn hotel. Heerlijke bedden, mooi en schoon sanitair. Paleis van Versaiiles was wat verder weg dan we dachten, dus met kind van 5 niet gelopen. Ontbijt vonden we best duur , maar bijna naast hotel is een erg groot warenhuis met […] diverse bakkers, supermarkt en eetgelegenheden (MC Donalds). Er is een waterkoker op de kamer met thee/koffie. Vanuit hotel zit je zo weer op de snelweg naar Parijs en heb je een mooi uitzicht op de eiffeltoren. Heenweg vanuit zuid-Frankrijk is de weg vanaf de snelweg naar het hotel wat langer, maar kom je wel langs het paleis van Versailles. Read more

Idéal pour un séjour touristique dans les environs et particulièrement pour le château de Versailles (joignable à pied, avec pas mal de courage, en bus ou en voiture). Met gezin 3 nachten (4 dagen) naar Parijs geeweest. Hotel heeft zeer goede prijs kwaliteits verhouding, inclusief gratis ontbijtbuffet. Prima ontbijt, beter dan bij menig ander hotel waar je apart moet betalen. Kamer met kingsize bed en twee eenpersoonsbedden. Lagen uitstekend. Mooie schone badkamer. Veel kast ruimte voor 4 personen. Verder gratis parkeren […] achter hotel. Bushalte (H) 50 meter van hotel met uitstekende verbinding naar centrum Parijs ongeveer 15 min in trein (station Eiffel, je stapt uit onder de Eiffel toren). Afstand tot Versaille is te lopen (2,5 km binnendoor) of 10 min. met de bus. Goede restaurants en zeer betaalbaar (anders dan het centrum van Parijs), vooral voor ons als gezin. Bovenstaande gegevens betekenen dat je geld overhoud om andere leuke dingen te doen in Parijs of Disney te bezoeken. Read more
