We had a wonderful stay at the Golden Pheasant. We really did not know what to expect, but it exceded every expecatation we did have. Nick, the Hotel Manager, was incredible. I think he works 24 hours a day. He did everything he could to make sure our stay was enjoyable. We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms. It was large, clean, and very comfortable. The Inn is the only business in town so all the locals hang out there. We crashed a 40 year old's birthday party. He was the local boy made big. He is an opera singer, but spent most of the night playing/singing everything from Elvis to Pink Floyd. The opera didn't start until the party moved to the pub late into the night. What a great experience. One I will always remember.
